Hi Mods,
I am unable to see the latest posts in the Gay Rights in America thread in News and Views.
The News and Views page says the last post in Gay Rights was posted by Escapee at 11-09-12 7:42pm. Yet when I click on it, the last post that shows is by Karuuna at 12:12pm on Nov 8, 2012.
I don't have a problem with any of the other threads. I have cleared my cash and restarted my computer, to no effect.

Good morning, Mods. Can the archives in the Games threads be deleted or greatly trimmed, please? They're very long, going all the way back to 8/1.
With the exception of the "Let's Write a Story" & "One Word at a Time" threads, there's really no need for archives of any great length to be kept in the Games threads. A major archive deletion on all other Games threads would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Mods. I have a curious problem.
You know how, in IE the links are red, and if you've browsed them recently they turn blue? At least, on my computer those are the colors. I have no idea if it's the same on others.
Anyway, any time it stops happening, I figure it's a problem on my end. I clear my cache, close IE, and usually even have to reboot. Once I do all that it's all fixed and the links are turning blue as I click on them.
Well, all of a sudden it's not turning blue on TVCH. I did the whole clear/close IE/Reboot thing twice. But it's still not showing up as a link I've clicked on recently. Some of the links I've clicked a day or more ago though are still showing up blue.
I tested the occurrence outside the board, and all my recent links are blue. It's just not happening here.
Any ideas on why this is? It's problematic for me, cause I don't rely on New Messages. I look for a recently turned-back-to-red link (from all my favorite areas of the board) to know something new has been posted since the last time I was there.
I doubt it's any problem with the board itself. It must be something I've done wrong. But I can't figure it out.
ETA: Ok, this really is wierd. I clicked on some of the profiles on this page, and as I did each link turned blue. But when I go out to the index page of the board and click on each folder or thread, they stay red.

FWIW, now the links are turning blue again. I did nothing to my compter or my TVCH Profile in the meantime.

Wouldn't it just be easier to use New Messages?
That way you'd have no confusion re what you have or haven't read. It works great for me.

It probably would be easier to read New Messages. But I have always preferred to just browse the main index page. Kinda like a nice leisurely stroll down a comfy familiar street. Kinda hard to change my stripes on that one.
