Perhaps it wasn't!? It may have been moved into another topic area, more appropriate to what it was discussing.
If it was deleted, it was in direct conflict with the rules of the board and a moderator or administrator decided it had to go! Sorry, but we take the rules seriously.
Also, old messages that are no longer relevant or read by anyone, are quite often deleted at the discretion of the moderators.
