One window of BBLite on Mac (it's cross-platform kids, and it's nice):

Has anyone else tried the BigBrotherLite viewer?
http://www.bigbrotherlite.com/

It was recommended on a BB LiveJournal I follow. ("ONTDBB", in case you want to look them up.) So far it seems to be working pretty well for me. You can't pause/rewind the feeds with it, but you can do screencaps. It says it works for Macs too, so even though this doesn't do as much as BBViewer, at least it might be better than going to the Real's website.

The new one works nicely on Windows 7 :-)
But it doesn't seem to have pause and rewind like the other.

It's not really HD. It's just using video smoothing. If anybody is using the other player (Launcher) for full screen or out to tv, once you open a feed, click "settings" at the bottom left and put a check next to "Use video smoothing".

Gurliegirl and any others who are going to cancel their Real account, here's a tip I learned right here on these boards a few season's ago and it works like a charm:

You can cancel online (skip the phone call to REAL) by changing your country code to Japan and using 1006810 as the postal code.

You do this under location and language preferences.

Has worked for me for the past three years or so without any problems.

Thanks Braveheart. If I sign up again next year i'll keep this in mind. The nice thing about cancelling today is that I don't have to think about it come September. I'm set. :-)

I wish I was making this up.

I had to call Real this afternoon because it kept giving me an error message on SuperPass on the Big brother feeds as well as the other videos available on the SuperPass site. The tech guy I spoke to had no clue BB had even started.

Literally, this came out of his mouth: "The Big Brother has started?" I had no words. After I said that, Yes, BB had started, he responded by saying the tech guys usually know because of an increase in calls.

This makes me wonder what on earth is really going on with Real. Help us all!!!!!

I did, however, notice that the Live feeds now have a low and high bandwidth option.

The biggest difference is that with the "low" bandwidth the thumbnails are blank:

The actual feeds themselves remain crisp. And, THANKFULLY, my CPU usage drops by 25% and my RAM drops by 15%.

I think Reals changes to its site has affected bblite : (
I get a prompt to sign in to superpass and when I do I get a black screen.
