I am just happy it's over. The second half of the season seemed to drag on.

Glad Zach made 2nd, but even MORE glad that Aleisha won.....about time a girl took this again!!!! Congrats Aleisha!!!!!!!

I was so happy Aleisha won. But it was soooo close. Aleisha won 51% to Zach 49%. So she received $450,000. I am really happy for her. This was a very satisfying ending for me. And I am happy Zach was the one that came in 2nd. As they said the 2 country kids made the finale.

If there was a difference of less than 500 votes, then they must have done some serious rounding of numbers to get 51% and 49%
.02X = 500
X = 25000
Only 25000 votes? Doubtful.

I so wanted Zach to win...but how close it was showed that intruders could make it to the end and almost win....but I loved Zach more...

I know Zach was very well liked by the fans. But I think alot of his votes were also Anti-Aleisha votes. She was in the house the entire time and people had strong feelings about her one way or the other.

For those that watched BB1, Gordon Sloan (Flash Gordon) has died.
Big Brother 1’s Gordon Sloan has passed away in a Beijing hospital, after being in an induced coma for the last twelve days.
Sloan had been in hospital since he collapsed on September 1st. Rumours circulating suggest the death was drug-related, either self-inflicted or by way of a third party.
The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed the 34-year-old architect’s family has been contacted by the Beijing consulate following the tragedy.

Here's a random tidbit.... apparently, Bree and Bodie are dating...
This info comes from both of their myspaces....lots of pics together, both list that they're in a relationship & are each others number 1 friends... I wouldn't have called that "pairing" in a million years.

I'm not sure entirely how I feel about Gretel no longer being the host. I'm HOPING Kris Noble stepping down is a HUGE step forward, as many have labeled him as the main reason the past couple of seasons haven't faired as well.
I can't believe they're already scouting for new HMs. I forgot it happens this early!

Wow lots of Big Brother news lately, and with the writers guild strike the US and possibly UK and AU versions will be starting early.
BB US in Feb, and probably again in July!

Okay. I have Vesna (and have for some time) on my friends list on myspace. It is legitimately her, I made sure before I even added her.
She posted a bulletin today that she was contacted and informed that previous HMs would be allowed to audition for BB08. NOW, this may be someone that hacked her account and posted the bulletin... I dunno... but anyone heard anything about it?

Summer 06 BBAU06 is being posted again on usenet, so I grabbed the first few eps.
Watching the launch now, as John enters the house, its kind of creepy. I wonder how the 2 famous for the turkey slap are doing in the Australian media these days. =)
