He agreed to be the pawn if MJ was put up and then took herself down. That I how I understood him, he was not volunteering to go up initially.

The downgrades were eligible to be nominated. They can thank Angela and Lisa for drawing fire.
I was not the only one to beat Pooya by posting that both downgrades had subsequently won HOH, as I noticed while updating the Interesting House Happenings chart before I saw the actual show.
As for manning up to be a pawn, that person is now labeled as a potential pawn and pawns can go home.
I have great fear that Brooklyn could win this, or Leah.. And I really don't like either of them.
America's vote is to be feared.
Little do they know that they could leave Angela off the block, use the power and America would gleefully put her up.

Sea, there were conversations in the house about how horribly mean it would be to nominate someone who couldn’t play in the veto. That’s why I said they were saved by mercy. Angela didn’t want to be seen as a “villain “.
That worked out so well for her.

Just heard Tucker tell Joseph that the noms will be Angela, Kenney and MJ, as of his conversation with Cedric this morning, and he (Tucker) will be the replacement when MJ uses her power.
I guess he doesn’t know that America votes. Also, I can’t see Cedric taking the risk when he finds out the replacement is not up to him. I am not sure how much Cedric knows about the details of MJ’s power.

I hope that he does put MJ up there. Would love to see who America would nominate. If Angela wasn’t already nominated, I think it would be her, but with Angela off the table, I have no idea how those votes would go..

Tucker is trying to talk Cedric into putting MJ on the block. Cedric suggests Rubina, Tucker shoots that idea down and steers him to MJ, saying he won’t get blood on his hands, he removes a power, and he can just put him up as the replacement.
So Tucker definitely doesn’t know about America’s vote.

I posted at 12:02 a.m. that Tucker explained to Cedric that when MJ uses the power that America chooses the replacement. So Cedric knows.

I am so confused! I heard Tucker say to Cedric earlier today in the rock room , that he would go up as the replacement. And now, when MJ tells Cedric that he would not name the replacement, it was like he was just hearing about this. Maybe he’s acting?

Joseph is doing a good job of appearing clueless. MJ bought it hook line and sinker, after Joseph leaves the SR, she discounts him, saying he’s like a lost child. Little does she know, he is a superfan, and MJ is the lost child.
Also, she’s one of those girls who says “I really vibe with the guys instead of girls”.

“Unnecessarily Tough”
This is how Cedric describes his situation where no one will volunteer to be a pawn. He is explaining to Kimo and Quinn the benefits of being a pawn. You get to play in both comps instead of one. But it doesn’t matter because you won’t even go home! He said that he wants a pawn who won’t use the veto if they win it. Hahahaha! He doesn’t want much, does he? He awkwardly leaves the conversation without a pawn.
He really shouldn’t have won HOH if he didn’t want the responsibility.

So……the nominee-pawn is being asked to create a reason for him to be nominated. And he obliges. Says he’s gross or something.
