A lot has been said about the need to improve Big Brother. Much of it has been about the competitions and how mostly men are winning them. I would add to that, that many times people are throwing competitions because they will become a target if they win too often. (Matt comes out and says this in his interview with Sharon Tharp.) The way to remedy that is to give extra money for winning HOH competitions and veto competitions. I think that would have people thinking twice about throwing competitions.

Change up the rules to limit how far HGs can go to cast aspersions on the character of another HG. Try and limit how much HGs can throw competitions by having penalties for the people who score in the lowest 25%, beyond being a have not. Or as Vegan suggests, extra cash for winning competitions.
Change up double evictions, do not let HGs talk to each other during the second eviction process - noms, veto, vote. Have the first double eviction earlier in the season so it is completely unexpected or do a triple eviction week.

Make the show LESS about competitions. Totally do away with "have nots" that is totally boring. Have competitions that determine the types of foods/luxuries the HG enjoy that week. During the first 6 weeks have one eviction a week (allows us time to get to know the HG and them to know each other and form alliances), after that have two evictions per week such as every Sunday and Wednesday there is an eviction. This would cut down on some of the boredom in the house and on the feeds. No double evictions, HG always expect them and plan for them. Stop the stupid twists like secret family members and powers that totally overturn the weeks events.
Finally, go back to season starting in early July, it is so hot here in Texas then that indoor activities are a must.

Also agree with Boberg, with Alison's termination letter. She is the main reason for showmances and stupid twists that go nowhere. And hire adults that can create comps for adults.
