When I couldn't sleep last night.. I pulled up the feeds and it was Jared and Blue up on the game couch. Their normal spot for after 11pm. Jared was working that tooth pic in his mouth something fierce. He at one time had the entire thing in his mouth and I was actually worried that he was going to swallow it. Blue told him that she, Cirie, and Felicia had done a prayer circle to keep him in the house.. Jared is pretty confident (at least when talking to Blue) that he will be back in (TOnight) and as HOH.
I almost hope that Cam decides to say he wants Jared to participate .. and see what he does... if he can actually win it on his own...

I agree about Cirie not being so great at BB. On Survivor, her social game was successful. Their time on the island was much shorter than in the BB house, and as she said, players could get away from each other, unlike in the BB house. I think Cirie is usually in charge, at home and at her job. She expects others to follow her directions. We see Jared holding his tongue, sometimes even shutting down when she’s “scolding” him. He’s a grown up, and though she’s his mom, she really shouldn’t act so superior to him. It’s not “her” house. She has an air of entitlement, and unfortunately it was fed/encouraged because of her Survivor popularity, having her son as an advantage, and then having Izzy doing everything for her—including messing up her OWN game for Cirie! I see Cirie has fans here, but nobody is saying what is so attractive about her BB gameplay. People are saying they like HER, or they carried their like of her from Survivor… most of us haven’t watched her on the Traitors, but it seems her power of persuasion/“mist” is always mentioned. That power seems to have come to an end, once they started to compare notes! Her lies came out, Izzy is no longer there to be her eyes/ears/informant. Maybe she was modeling Derrick/Cody’s gameplay, but she got too catty/bossy, whereas Derrick kept it all strictly game, like it was his job. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out, I sure hope Jared goes home for good tonight!

EM I think people stay for many reasons. NYC is my home. I was born here and have lived here my entire life. I take advantage of all of the cultural opportunities NY has to offer (Museums, Broadway Shows, fine dining, etc.) as well as the excellent medical care. I am 70 years old and still working as a lawyer. I am only registered to practice in the State of New York and do not want to take a bar exam to practice law in another State at this point in my life or build contacts and a practice from scratch. I am single and my brother and sister who still live here are my only living close relatives. At the end of the day we are each other's support system. I am winding down my law practice and will spend some time in Florida this winter (as I did last winter). I typically travel but did not do so during COVID. Can't wait to resume a more active travel schedule again (and then come back home). Having said that, I do not want to work forever and may at some point need to sadly consider a permanent move.
I don't envy young people trying to make their mark in this city. They are often shocked at the price tag attached.

Calimom3 if you want to see the dark side of Cirie, watch her performance on traitors and how she ensures she doesn't have to share a penny of the prize pot.
Other possible advantages or "cover" provided for Cirie/Jared:
1. Another older black female with similiar facial features (high beautiful cheek bone structure) put in the house
2. A superfan and follower of Cirie on Survivor who would instantly recognize her/Jared = Izzy, (Immediate alliance member) For a total of 3 HG with immediate ties
3. Another HG with Survivor ties (Cory) so Cirie doesn't stand out so much, although I recognize this is probably a stretch.
The live feeds and extreme length of this game has allowed for Cirie's true self to be seen....as it is in "Traitors"
Even with all that said, I could still like her later in the game IF Jared leaves this week and Cirie actually has to do something besides MIST people. I would like to see how she performs on the block.

NYC is my home and I have lived in other places. I love NY. It can be expensive but there is also an expression here "never pay retail". You always know where to get things for less cost. Rents and housing in Manhattan is crazy but you can get decent housing in the boroughs, not cheap but certainly not as expensive as LA. My son and his partner live about a mile away from me in Forest Hills. They have lived in the same apartment for about 9 years. NYC has pretty good rent protections which limits how much rents can be raised, increase rates are established by the rent stabilization board and issued yearly. So because they have been in the same apartment so long the increases have been small but they cant really move because rents around them are much higher.
Looking forward to tonight to hopefully see Cam win.,

I feel the same about California Maris. We own our home which was affordable 50 years ago, when we were young. It is nearly impossible to buy now. I am a beach girl at heart so living in a state, and city on the coast that offers what I love. I love the weather it is never too severe. I would not be happy anywhere else, so I pay for what I love. Cost is where you choose to spend. I have never been a Neiman Marcus girl and love to thrift and yard sale, which can be done almost every day year round. NO snow, no 110 degrees, not gale force winds, tornados, hurricanes every year. A devastating earthquake is very rare, so the fear of that makes no sense to me. We have so many options for food, gourmet to economical, in restaurants and grocery stores. We have a ferry as well as rapid transit. It just works for me. There is a balance for everyone. I live near three international airports, and silicon valley, in a very diverse area. What more could I ask for?

Vegan, who were they talking about when Felicia said, he is probably going to take her to the end. He thinks he will be able to beat her. Cirie agreed and then the Cams switched to sleeping hgs.

Dang. I had just walked into the room when I heard it. I was hoping it was a longer conversation.
For some reason, I was thinking it was about Jared and Blue. Wishful thinking on my part, to get Cirie thinking about getting rid of Blue. Lol!

Felicia was talking about Cameron wanting to take Bowie to the end, because he knows he can beat her. She said that is why Bowie moved into the Scary room.

I personally think that production has made sure that their butts are covered as well as those who have their reputations at home compromised. CBS can not take that kind of bad press either. I am sure they have a team of lawyers advising them.

I reference back to Cam and Bowie being each others couple so to speak, work together to help each other. They only trust each other anyway, so it makes sense. He gives her some information to guide her and he told her, everyone loves her so just be Bowie. No scheming or plans that we know of. It seems to be just that they like each other personally and trust each other more than anyone else in the house. No final 2 was ever discussed that I know of.

EM, have to tell you I love Burbank Airport. I spent 4 months this year in LA and 4 months last year in LA and will be returning again in April and I love the weather in Ca. I found it more expensive than NY but do love those long assignments out there and the beaches are beautiful plus the national parks.

Grooch, Felica has some information right, and she knows a lot that has not been revealed. The problem is that her conspiracy theories find their way into her head, and her big mouth, are going to be her demise. It is almost certain after listening to Jared last night it seems to me that Felisha will be gone this week. Notice no meeting with Jared this morning. I personally think Jared and Cirie think she is hypocrite.

Maris I have only experienced JFK in New York, and it was overwhelming. SFO can be that way as well as LAX, but here in NorCal we have two other international airports. SWA which started as a commuter airlines since it is only one hour from SoCal to NorCal. SWA is based in Oakland, San Jose is smaller. But we also have smaller ones in Sacramento, Fresno, etc. A lot of choices if flying domestic.
