Cirie loves her son. She wants him to win the game, not herself. She is no different than millions of Moms. I do not think she sees the Jared that others see. You can tell they have a great relationship outside of this house. He respects her.
He is not my favorite player, and lots about him bothers me, I wish it was him going this week. But he is not the monster he is being made out to be. In my opinion.

I totally agree... Cirie thought this would be easy. She hasn't every played a game so long where she couldn't get away from everyone. On Survivor she could wander the woods/forest/beach to get away. On Traitors they left the castle everynight and went to a hotel, where I am sure she had her own room.
So this is a totally new deal. I think we can now say that maybe Cirie isn't a legend, she simply can make good social relationships. And is more than happy to screw people over. IMO.
She was a draw to get viewers and I would be happy for her to go home, however, I would like Jared to go first next Thursday, LOL.

Agree Lilfair! 100 days cut off from the world. Nothing compares. Days (weeks this time) with no sun light or fresh air.

Cirie may love her son, but I will never forget the night of the endurance comp when she spent something like 20 minutes chewing him out for not telling her something he knew. She just went on and on and on, lecturing him in a very disrespectful way for another adult (in my opinion), and at some point he put his head in his hands and would just mumble mmm-hmmmm, and then at the end, he just got up and left without saying a word.

I did not see that exchange as harsh as you Karuuna. It was a mother upset with her son. But that is why we have fun talking to each other. We all see the same things differently!

He and Izzy talked about many times, Kar. He loves his mom but she is controlling. Maybe because he needs controlling I don't know, but given what I've seen, he wants to break out on his own, but has not got the skills to do that. He has a huge ego and watching her with him in the HOH I am not surprised why? Building your kid's self-esteem can go too far, and maybe that is why he is so self-absorbed and thinks he is smarter than he is.

If Cirie REALLY wants to go HOME, she will want to do it before jury or she may as well stay in the game. Maybe if Izzy stayed, she would feel differently but now Cirie has to play and cant rely on how Izzy was the eyes and ears for her.

In DR, he often talks about how he’s becoming a legend. My take is that he’s tired of being in his moms shadow and wants to better than her. Also, I suspect we will start to see him in other CBS reality shows…. To become more famous.

Mamapors, In my son's 29 years, I have never ever ever spoken to him like that. We talk to each other with respect, and that was anything BUT respectful.
It was demeaning and devaluing. At some point, any sane mother would recognize that he wasn't responding, and back off and soften so they could actually talk.
I think she is controlling, and often when mothers are controlling, that's why sons don't feel confidant enough to grow up.
(Sorry, had to rant a bit, I have seen this with so many young men, I feel like I'm a bit of an unwilling expert!)

If today, Cirie wants to go home, tomorrow she could feel entirely different. Most hgs through the years have wanted to go home at one point or another.
I wouldn't put much stock in what she's saying, right now. Wait a day or two, and see how she feels.

I remember when my son was in Jr High and he told me he was so excited that now people were referring to me as Dylan's mom instead of referring to him as Pam's son.
I think Jared has been called Cirie's son for most of his life and he is excited to break away from that. It is a shame that he has been so coddled that he comes off so entitled. Cirie doesnt seem to see anything wrong with him messing around with a girl in the house while he has a gf back home. It is especially disappointing because I get the impression Cirie likes his gf back home. Maybe he cheats on her outside of the house too but she is his main girl. Who knows.

Jared is her youngest. I know how hard it is to let go of your last baby. He just appears to me to be spoiled rotten, entitled. I admit my youngest was babied but he is not like Jared, but he did not mature as quickly as the others.
As a parent you are expected to talk and scold when necessary, but not like she did, that is demeaning.

Any show Jared is ever in will be a show I will never watch. Cirie is a different story if she isn't playing a game with anyone in her family.

Pamy, I have no idea what he secretly thinks, but he has heavily used "I am Cirie from Survivor's son" as entre in the Survivor/Reality community.
Taran says that was exactly how Jared introduced himself at the last RHAP live gathering in New York. He came up to Taran and others and said that. Taran has a picture from that, so Jared has certainly capitalized on that identity.
So you are probably right that he longs to be the primary one.
We know he wants to move to California (no doubt to L.A.) after this. Some have speculated.. Oh Taylor mentioned Toddrick house..
He can dream, but I think Cirie will remain the main draw.

Pamy, I remember a TVCH post about Jared's Dad having kids with 10 different women so maybe both Jared and Cirie have dysfunctional partner relationships due to that. Beyond me why so many women would be involved with one man, plus maybe more that just didn't get pregnant. Reminded me of Nick Cannon, but I think he sees his children and supports them.

Funny.. I was watching Taran and Aysha on the RHAP recap. Forgot I was not in real time, so they were wrapping up and Taran said, oh the feeds came back! I started to switch to feeds and of course they were at the point where feeds came back from the veto draw. They stayed on and people in their chat let them know than Cameron WAS going to play.
If OTEV is the comp, which seems likely, we have more cats and dogs to see.

Early in the season Cirie mentioned problems with her first husband.. Sounded like she was wise to get away.
Yeah Nick Cannon or Elon Musk, though Elon also chooses horrible names for his offspring (though some are ok, maybe depends on the mom).

I don’t see Jared portrayed as a monster, I see him behaving badly and embarrassingly on Live and recorded tv. People who are watching see his actions and hear his (mumbled) words. He AND Cirie were laughing about the photos he got in his first HoH—some were taken at Kenzie’s house. He was sad he didn’t get a letter from Kenzie, Cirie suggested BB might be protecting him, as that letter might be too…”angry…” I would hope my boyfriend’s mom would not be giggling with him about me, all the while he’s got a bedmate in the same house as his mother! If that’s how Cirie shows she likes Kenzie, I could do without it. Maybe that’s where Jared gets his hit/miss “respect” for others? I wonder if Kenzie is accepting of his cheating, hoping she will reap the benefits if he wins BB. Maybe they have an open relationship… probably not, his ego doesn’t seem likely to accept that, plus, we know his views on male vs female rules regarding “body count!” Jared says he is moving to L.A. when BB is over. He doesn’t say if Kenzie is part of that plan… he simply told Blue they could not be couple because she will stay in New York and he is definitely going to California. We don’t WANT him here!
He was younger when his mom became a beloved reality personality. He knows she has a huge fan base. His will be less than he’s anticipating.

Reportedly, Kenzie is not happy, no surprise, I saw a link to her Instagram, but it was private. Her business Insta is all business. There was a picture Cirie had posted with Kenzie.
I don't think Kenzie is speaking out.
