I forgot to add that even though I am a "yankee" through and through (born, raised, and live in San Francisco), my Mom was born in Decatur, Alabama! So I am Southern by DNA. LOL

Need - I LOVE fried okra too. Have you ever had roasted okra? When okra is fresh, I roast it whole with some olive oil and salt at 400 until it starts to split. That's some delicious "finger food" for me. I do like to turn it about 10 minutes in.

My mom loved okra, but it not something I have ever liked. I can't get past the slime no matter how it's cooked, I just can't cut it, I gag.
Jared is typical of some young guys and I'm sure he does not talk like that around his mom.

These HG don't know it, but they are about to be hit with a Tropical Storm. They may never know, since they might be locked inside for the duration.
Unless they hear it, which is possible since they are on a studio set. Or...they may wind up evacuating them. And in that case, obviously they will know.
Taran is in San Diego, may take a direct hit and not have power on Sunday-Monday.
Since I live in Florida, I am an avid storm-watcher - I am shocked that a Cat 4 HURRICANE is this close to Southern California.

Things I learned from Taran's podcast:
Cameron told Red about the Hisam plan first, then Bowie told him. Cirie is blaming Bowie for telling Red, doesn't know that Cam told him first.
Cory jokingly talked about an alliance called The Middlemen, that does not exist. Cirie has misunderstood and thinks Mecole is in this alliance. I forget who else. Maybe Bowie.
The body-count conversation apparently went on throughout the night, Taran said like 5 hours or something!

The CBS lot where BB is shot is empty because of the strikes. I am glad they are taking advantage of using the empty stages. It helps so many below the line crew who are hurt financially because of the strike. It also lets the house guest be outside more.

Husband and I are both in the airline industry,lived in Marietta while looking for a house. Used to drive by the Big Chicken on the way to Harrys market, which I see is no longer there.
Lived south of ATL in Peachtree City for a few years. Back on the west coast of FL for years now.
Okra is gross. LOL

Seems that Jared is telling his mom that he's tired of having to tip toe around Izzy's feelings. Saying 'what do we need her for?'.
Cirie said that Izzy is going to help get them to the end.
Big Brother Daily:
"Jared to Cirie- She (Izzy) got a tendency of making you worry about her feelings but she don't care about the other people feelings. That's why I'm like I am not about to keep doing this. If I got the power to get you out and not have to worry about it, then you gone"
I think the body-count talk with Izzy got to Jared, and he is going to blow up his game and his mom's game in trying to get her out.
