Julie there is a video, from live feeds, of Kirsten and Jared, where she uses the same slur Luke was removed from house for, and she uses it in the same fashion as Luke. Social media is saying they all signed same contract, stating zero tolerance for racial slurs etc. That was less than 24 hours before eviction. So social media was upset that they didn't remove Kirsten as they did Luke.
I'm wondering if the with the removal of Luke and the probability of them not wanting anything to do with Kirsten, they sort of dodged a full on controversy. She was on the Block and 100% going to be voted out. What might have happened had she stayed?
I also think this totally derailed any plans for a return comp between first 5 evicted, we all heard about. I guess they can do the next 3 evicted?

Perhaps, but, that word used by a black person to another black person has a different context, so it is a more difficult argument to make.
I do agree that they/production just wanted the issue to go away and we may never know if the intended game structure was altered.
I am betting that exit interview questions will not address the issue with Kirsten, but in time questions will be asked.
As for Luke, he went back on social media, Instagram, and made light of it, so apparently it was a slip and that word is something he is comfortable using in his daily life.

Both Luke and Kirsten used the pejorative as you would use the word "dude". That still isnt ok. My blacks friends do not want their black friends to refer to them as such. Luke showed little respect and no remorse. So good they threw him out.
I'm sure it doesn't bother some people as it does others. But this is not the outside world, this is BB. They all signed the same contract. If they start qualifying that it's OK for some people to refer to others using certain words, depending on their ethnicity, color, gender etc...that's a slippery slope to navigate.

Feeds just came back after going down yesterday for veto.
Hisam won. At least as of yesterday, he will not use veto.
Per Taran Armstrong, yesterday, Hisam was convinced that , besides Reilly being his target, he can work with Cameron. Some in the house want Cameron gone.
