I was reading the Tweet from EW with the article on what BB is doing to accommodate Matt. Oh, boy that's not going over very well, the comments were brutal.
This paragraph took me out, knowing what we sorta know about the veto comp:
"having a deaf contestant enter the house meant that Big Brother producers had to reevaluate how to best accommodate the player for interactions in both the Diary Room and during competitions — and those accommodations will be put to the test tonight in a Veto competition called Twisted Tasks that is based heavily around audio clues."
I guess we're gonna see some pretty creative editing on the show tonight. Because they obviously failed.

I’m always confused by “America,” and I expected Mecole’s nickname to be spelled “Mimi,” since “meme” is a common word already for funny viral pics! 🤷🏼♀️

I do not recall BB doing anything to accommodate Eddie (Season 1) amputee. Eddie participated in the bike riding task and all competitions although he was certainly at a disadvantage.
When a HG is injured in the BB house they seem to go out of their way for them - Xmas voted from her hospital bed and who can forget Jasmine last year's HG who rolled her ankle and sat out on many competitions. Awful Jackson Michie got private therapy and meds and watermelons for his withdrawal symptons.
But I agree that if you knowingly include any HG with an impairment there should be a plan to accommodate their needs.

Izzy and Cameron hanging out in the upstairs lounge, chatting like they're BFFs. She's not wanting him dead at all!
Jared and Cory are hanging out there too. Cameron has no idea how close he was to going out the door this week. Somehow, I think it will all come out eventually and all hell will break loose. I hope.

Taran made a good point about Cirie being used to a very fast turnaround on the vote, due to Survivor's MUCH shorter season.
Cirie even commented yesterday that this is a LONG TIME between nominations and voting.
In the BB house with nothing else to do but talk, things get said that change your mind.
And change it again. And then, someone different talks to you, and you change your mind once more!

In the first couple of days of live feeds, Cory and Mecole played chess, had a little game talk, and it looked like something might happen there. Like a secret alliance. It seemed to fade away, but I think that Cory and Mimi would be an unbeatable team.
They both seem to have an excellent grasp on the game, and they are both on the fringes of alliances. Hope they find each other again.

Reilly and Matt talking about Reilly going to talk to Cirie, and Izzy.
Jared is right there, listening to every word. Reilly telling Jared that everyone is scared of Hisam. So at least Jared's mom will know that Reilly is buying that lie.
Kinda sad that Reilly and Matt still have hope.

Jared saying to Reilly and Matt, "After Hisam's gone. . ." One thing the house is agreed upon is that Hisam needs to go next week. (But it is dependent upon who gets HOH next week.)

Wilson. Great article! But it makes the recent post by Allison Grodner even more baffling as in why didn't she just say that there were extensive accommodations? So this article seems overdue and even a bit of CYA for them.
But a really good article and also shows how individual these accommodations have to be, which means few people will benefit from them.

Hisam going is dependent on him being on the block and not winning POV. Or not on the block and not being drawn for veto and the veto being used and him being rep nom and being voted out. Could happen, but a lot of ands there.

Here is what I think happened (me and Taran, lol):
They did not accommodate Matt sufficiently for the veto comp. So they kept the feeds off for 19 hours to hide it. When the feeds came back, every time a HG mentions Matt and the veto comp, the feed switches or we get vortex.
It started leaking out on social media that HG were saying how no one could put Matt up after the comp was so unfair to him.
So CBS called their good buddies at EW, and asked for a favor, like a fluff piece. Probably in exchange for priority access to HG interviews.
This has backfired, since the BB community sees right through it.

Oh, now he says he'll take over cleaning the shower. Not sure if he is committed to doing it on a regular basis.
