Rosem I agree...but I just don't want relatives of any reality cast, because they have experience through their relative in how to navigate or manipulate (theoretically). Or cast that have a famous relative in entertainment in general. But we will see.
I am relieved that Red doesn't have an over the top annoying (to me) Southern twang...alla Brittany Cartwright lol
I do think this is an interesting mix of cast they have assembled though

People think Blue and perhaps Bowie were alternates- their interviews looked different than the others and were shorter...

I like Cameron from his interview. I wasn't sure of him, but now I think he has potential.
Gonna downplay his superfan-ness, which is wise.
I'll give him a pass on the hair. Now I want Cameron and Hisam to team up. As long as it doesn't get all bro-ey.

Felicia does not look 63. She could lie about her age and no one would catch on.
She is not going to lie about her age, since she said she will be her authentic self.
Wilson, I understand about Felicia and Blue having shorter interviews, now that I've seen them. They may have been alternates. Which would mean TWO alternates were needed. I wonder who they replaced and why.

Chris lol I have not seen Reds TicTocs. But I do wish just for ONE season we would get a cast with little to no social media content or followers
Oh, I know at least one person is an alternate...sometimes they are better than the first picks

Oh, gee.... now that I've seen Izzy's interview, I think she might be the first boot.
Says she's a HUGE FAN of the show, even though she only started watching in 2023, but claims to have watched all the seasons, TWICE.
I don't believe a word she says. She may actually be more over-confident than America, if that's possible.
Saying that when you walk into the room, all eyes are on you, because you are so captivating, seems a bit much.

Ummmm.......Matt's lip-reading ability could be an issue.
He said he is going to hide this ability. Does this mean that the HG will not know that he is deaf?
This seems like an unfair advantage.

Red is not a fan of the show. I think he may have had Big Brother on the TV while he was doing bearded Tennessee stuff. Things I am unfamiliar with.
Ahhh, lying about your profession again. He is in SALES. Which, to me is something you tell people when you're trying to hide your profession. But he's gonna make something up. I don't even remember what it was.

I am liking Reilly much more than I expected. She sounds very aware of how the game is played.
This may be the actual 'playing dumb, then revealing genius' thing that everyone else wants to pull off.

I don't understand Matt's strategy? Is he going to pretend to be a hearing person and count on his lip reading to communicate, and hide that that is what he is doing? That will not work. Take it from a hearing impaired person. I have 40-50% hearing loss and function well with hearing aids, and even so I struggle in groups and when i am not facing the conversation.

I think they will give Matt some kind of buzzing/vibrating device to call him to the DR or tell him to stop singing or whatever.
So the HG will have to know that he is deaf and thus be aware of his lip reading ability.
It would only be fair. And how could you hide being deaf? I could not tell that he was deaf by listening to his interviews, so I am curious how he is deaf. Was it from birth? Some kind of illness or accident?
