So Monte went in HOH to discuss the "goddaughter" incident. They didn't show the first 20 minutes. But what I heard of the discussion it made no sense to me.
Taylor apologized profusely. She is sitting in the tub. Monte is sitting on the chair talking to her. Monte said this isn't the first time he has seen this side of her. Ouch
This whole conversation is weird. She says how everything that has happened so far...that her game play basically has been affected by men. Then she starts crying....but she mentioned how it hurt her that she found out that Joseph threw her under the bus. I wonder how upset she is going to be that they haven't told her.
And Monte is now telling her...faults in her in her personality...how helpful he is. He wants to help her realize why she is condescending or cold.
I don't know...but 3 days after somebody is boinking me...it's a little soon for them to be picking apart my personality and making me cry.
Now he is telling her about how people were saying she rubbed them the wrong way (Nicole, Daniel, Ameerah)
Ah...he is bringing up how she was playing pool at the beginning with the guys. That she rubs people the wrong way. That since she said stuff that cut deep to him...that he can see how she might have done it to others without knowing she did it
He says this is not an attack...Now she is apologizing again. In any case...I think this might throw her off her game. Her water has to be freezing by now....we are coming up on an hour. She is now thanking him for having the conversation with her. And asking HIM how he is doing...And he says he would have responded in a much harsher way if he wasn't on TV or had other people around. That if it happens again......says it's a turn off to him and he is not comfortable staying in the room tonight...because she disrespected him. BUT as a friend he feels no different about her.
Yeah this will affect her game....She just said she feels they were TOO physical with each other.
He says he has to step back for now
Well...I'm going to bed. This is making me cringe. I wish I had seen the original conversation he is referring to....anyone have an approximate time? Because he seems to be having a strong reaction for a small conversation that he says he was SOOOO disrespected by

Wow, it sounds like he is right back to where he was in the first weeks of the season, only now he is trashing her to her face.
And from your description she sounds desperate.
Watch him use all of this as his reason to go to final two with Turner.
And no matter who goes to jury, Turner or Monte would do their best to influence, but won't have a real chance to talk to the other jurors.
I hope she can manage to win part three of hoh and send his sorry ass out the door.

So he gets up to leave and yep....she asks him to come and kiss her...he does. Then says this is her NOT asking him to spend the night. He shakes his finger at her and says BAD TAYLOR
He actually leaves. She refill tub with hot water. She has to be a prune by now...
She says well we are back to Taylor is an insensitive b-word narrative. And says .....(he says that I'm) nice when it's convenient. That's excruciating

I guess jury will not have a chance to see this. At least Taylor knows what Monte really thinks of her. And always did think that, even when they were hot and heavy. He’s justifying why he will not be talking Taylor to F2 if it’s on him. Although in reality he should strongly consider it because she is so badly perceived, according to him. He would have a better shot at winning, but bro code and all that.

Fan3, you compared Taylor and Monte to Xavier and Azzah. I see it as Kyle and Sarah with the mental abuse.
God, I hope he's out next. But my wishes never come true.
And BB should fire the therapist that Monte has been talking to about dealing with this "relationship". Monte is making Kyle look like a prince when it comes to "relationships".

As a non watcher this season , I’m not sure I get why this conversation upset everyone . There was a reason people felt alienated by Taylor. Perhaps she did behave differently with the guys and the girls . Perhaps when the feeds were down, she did behave differently . Maybe her humor was too raw for the girls . Maybe the sarcasm offended them.
Monty may be a jerk but maybe his assessment of different sides of Taylor is spot on.
Not saying Monty is a Prince . But he was put off by her from the beginning . Why??
I think he made interesting observations about her . I doubt this is the first time she had heard them.
And, didn’t her BB comic have something to go with being cold hearted ?
I like her and hood she prevails . But I did think the conversation with Monty was very mature and adult .
She had the best attitude of any houseguest I have seen in a long time .

I don’t mind Monte’s conversation, as long as he knows he is no better than Taylor. Did Taylor make a mistake hooking up with Monte, or would he have cut her instead of Alyssa when he could have without their “relationship”? If she sticks around, maybe she can pivot and use his comments for jury management. Right any perceptions. Every time I start to like Monte as a human, he brings back reality. I was okay with Monte winning but now I want him to have to evaluate what caused someone else to be chosen over him. If not Taylor, I’ll take Turner. But boy how delicious it would be if Taylor beat Monte at F2.

Yes, Monte used sex to get further in the game and now he has to find a reason not to take her to final 2 (Frank Jr). On the show, they talk about a relationship from the beginning of the game, but I don't see that...he was afraid of her and she was going after him, as her target to get out of the house, the majority of the time. He talked crap about her to Terrance and others. A lesson to all women, Monte is the WRONG type of guy to date or get into a relationship with. No wonder he is single. He also told Turner that he didn't want to disrespect his ex, while talking about his and Taylors relationship. WHAT????

Also, Monte is using this to beat her down so she won't be able to focus on the comps and also because Turner questioned about their relationship. Let's beat her down so that Turner will still take me to the end. Money is more important than your image after Big Brother. Those are the kind of moves that are NOT game. They only show your true self out of the house and you will have to live with that forever. All the money in the world is not worth that, to me.

 This was his plan all along... he got want he wanted.. got her to do what he wanted .. stayed off the block... and then since he won the veto.. he can drop her like a rock and make her think it is all her fault. all while appearing high and righteous ..
