Turner says that Kyle knowing he is going on Thursday will make Thursday easier.
Turner and Monte are discussing why Monte will be voting Kyle out on Thursday but that Monte will vouch for him on the outside. That once Kyle stops feeling “*I* feel bad because *I* thought something bad” and instead sees it from the other person’s point of view and realizes how it made them feel, he will grow.
I like the quote from Turner, Rieann! Was that what Monte asked if he got it off a bumper sticker? Lol
I didn’t quite catch it.

I bet Michael is like woooowwwww. This went better than I even imagined. Kyle has actually, thanks to Michael’s concern for humanity, realized he is indeed a racist just like the Wild West of an internet already determined. Phew.
And we wonder why there’s no regular folks on the show.

There is a heat advisory this week in So. Cal but no word of blackouts.
So had dinner and gave all this some thought. I think I have decided not to give Kyle a pass of any kind. He is a 30 year old man and he has to know with all the media attention to BLM over the last couple of years that this is wrong on every level. I also will not give Terrance any leeway with his sexism and Xenophobia in regards to Joseph. I will give all of my AFP votes to Joseph who has suffered a character assignation by the four of the outsiders and don't want any of them to collect any money or fame for what they did. They may not have known about Kyle but they did know he made up stuff about Joe and they all went along with it. Thank God the SMART people were inside and knew they were all lying. Turner made a horrible choice and that's on him.

She and Taylor are a final two and she is playing her game. Hopefully one of them or Michael wins the next couple of comps. Michael is not going to take Terrence, Alyssa, Turner or Monte to the end, he is committed to those two girls. No one an determine how it will play out, so Monte and Turner can talk til the cows come home, they got to win.

So how do people feel about someone like Michael who keeps his knowledge of racist comments secret until it strategically improves his chances of winning a game?

Jimmer, I think a lot of people have posted about that?
I, for one, do not think Michael should be blamed for what Kyle did. If Kyle had not said those things, there would have been nothing for Michael to use.
And remember that Michael may have thought he deterred Kyle from such thinking, as he advised him against it (on August 5). But when he brought it up AGAIN to Brittany on the 17th, it was clear Michael's warning to him had no affect.
So I don't blame Michael for not bringing it up when he thought he had handled it. I imagine after Kyle then approached Brittany, it became more concerning.
What you do in this game is fair game. And you can hold it for your advantage. I'm guessing Michael may have hoped it wouldn't come to that, but with Kyle still on that train, and after Kyle blew up their alliance (and Michael may well have thought that was because he didn't agree to Kyle's all white alliance), it became fair (in my eyes) for Michael to use it.
If you listen to the conversation, Michael was very fair and did not exaggerate what Kyle said.

I agree Michael used the info strategically, but Kyle's racist comments are not anyone else's responsibility to deal with or share. Michael told Kyle how he felt, he talked to Brittany about it. We also know it was discussed it in the DR. What else was he responsible to do?

Earthmother, I have a hard time giving him a pass too. My daughter is married to a black man and I have watched this type of stuff play out in their lives. I'm so over people like Kyle that never learn!
I mean watch Taylor to see how easy it is to show grace!

Yeah, Lucas, Kyle was told about it multiple times, and still he stayed the course.
That said, I think it finally got thru to him, and I'm hopeful that he'll learn and grow from it. I always hope the best for/from people.

Tattling on others is a tricky thing. Both in real life and in this odd game. Both Michael and Britt spoke up in real time, when talking with Kyle. That, in my mind, is where their moral obligation ends in this case.

Jimmer, I think you're not following what I'm putting down. 
I think you give the benefit of the doubt. Michael talked to him. The DR talked to him, and still Kyle came singing the same song 2 weeks later.
And yes, I think you would want to think about it quite awhile before you brought it out. Like I said, I think Michael hoped he wouldn't have to say anything. And yes, he did say something when it looked like Kyle was going to get to stay while Monte or Taylor was not. That's really when it felt more racist, IMO. That's when it really became more clear that Kyle was still trying to form his all white alliance.

Michael didn't ruin Kyle's character, Kyle did and why is it any different now than then? He said it, and Michael and Brit kept it to themselves until they were sure. You don't out something like that until you have to. They still would have been accused of repeating it for game. They choose to keep it to themselves and try and protect Monte and Taylor. They were damned if they did or damned if they didn't. What if he did tell one of the others and they weren't saying anything? We will never know, and if he didn't, then why not? The only reason he wanted Indy out was because she kept in Alyssa's ear. Sending Joe home while wanting Jasmine out and then wanting Taylor out was enough for Michael to justify his leaking of the information. There would have been NO information to leak had Kyle not done it. I am not ever going to place blame on a whistleblower unless they are covering up for their crimes.

Jimmer, I will say this, It's not ok they kept it a secret until they needed it to target Kyle. That part feels icky to me but I just have to remind myself that Kyle brought this into the game.
