Yes, headphones off, feeds muted, watched Shark Tank, some news, now listening to a podcast on RHAP with David Bloomberg and Obi Kabir... Just couldn't stomach Terrance (and Alyssa, Kylr, and, sadly, Turner).

Part of me doesn’t want to do live feed updates this week because I don’t even want to give attention to the lies…on the other hand, I feel like if we don’t stand up,and say what we see, the houseguests under gaslights will never know people had their backs and saw the truth.

I would be so embarrassed to be Alyssa or Kyle’s family after the last couple of weeks. I REALLY wanted to like Alyssa. I’ll have to go double check, but wasn’t she the one in the intros that had kept a NOTEBOOK of last 8 years of BB or something? And she’s beautiful. SOLD! A beautiful smart girl, yay! (Remember my favorite, Janelle!)
I am so disappointed. My only hope is that Kyle leaves before her so I can actually see her play the game(beyond showmance protection, which has proven a tactical advantage in the past…I just want to see a different way)

I'm hoping Michael can win the veto and save himself and I guess Brittney. But what I like about Joseph leaving and two of the LO's being on the block is the drama it causes. For weeks one side has been in power and even though I didnt like half of them they kept Michael safe when he was supposed to go first. So that was okay with me. And a couple of the house guests that got evicted I didnt care for anyway so that was okay too. But i always enjoy when the alliance thats been in power finally get a taste of their own medicine and they experience what the other side has felt. It's a game and when you get to cocky karma comes a calling. So even though my favorite is in danger of getting evicted I like seeing the other side knocked down a peg or two.
Now as for Monte he's playing both sides. Something he's accused Michael and Brittney doing. He's acting like he has no idea what's going on when he did have a part in getting Brittney and Taylor nominated. I think he might still be somewhat loyal to Michael he kept him off the block and a possible back door in hopes Michael wins veto and saves himself. I could be wrong but he is trying to say Kyle is the one that outed the LO's and not Joseph. He knows Michael has potential to save himself and win next HOH so he's trying to stay in his good graces. And should he get back doored well thats a big threat he doesnt have to get out on his own later and keeps his jury vote.
So even though I'm worried Michael might go and Kyle who has betrayed his alliance for 10 seconds in Heaven will stay I love the drama. Its just a game and it is what it is and no matter how it turns out like it or not that's why I keep coming back every year because I still love Big Brother!
Now dang it Michael dont let me down go win veto because I dont like anyone else!!!

Mollie, I agree with you. Bring out if the country this summer , and only keeping abreast through TVCH and twitter, I have more of a dispassionate view and no attachments.
What I am reading is that everyone is playing the game to win! Even Kyle and Alyssa, despite what it looks like . HGs are pivoting when necessary to survive and stay alive in the game . It’s exciting . More interesting and unexpected then it has been in years.

If only the showmance wasn’t so icky to me. However, there’s plenty I could do with a week away from feeds… mainly sleep, but sleeping is my favorite. I did check in a bit ago with Turner. He brushed his teeth for easy seemed s really long time, but maybe I was just bored. Then, he found the “on” camera and said good bye again to Megan.

Morning. I had to turn off the feeds from listening to smugville last night and Terrence and his mouth.
If Michael gets the boot, he's getting my AFP vote all day long.
We're seeing that side of Turner his sister was talking about.
So the LOs aren't steam rolling. It's another meaner group doing the same thing.

At this point, I want Taylor out - for her sanity. And to be back with Joseph who is always kind to her. And she or Joseph will get my AFP vote.
I can't remember a houseguest being treated so horribly as Taylor. This isn't game play - this is cruelty for the sole reason of being cruel.
I don't know if I have the stomach to watch this group this weekend and will likely just read about the weekend shenanigans here and on Twitter.
Besides, two movies dropped yesterday that my BF and I want to watch (Samaritan and Me Time). We'll probably watch one tonight and the other next weekend.

I like seeing Power shifts and not steamrolls. Is there unnecessary demonizing of some HG's? Yes. (i.e. blaming everything on Joseph).
Honestly I have no love lost for Indy and Jasmine but I thought Brittany was too gleeful in trying to come up with reasons for their evictions. Brittany forgot how it felt to be uncertain about her fate and I am actually happy to see her get a little Big Brother payback. She crashes at the smallest adversities. She is not even the target!
When any group holds power for such a long time (Leftovers) they can forget how it feels to be on the other side. Game on! I do hope Michael wins the veto because I don't want to see an "Outsider" steamroll and I hope Monte's double play comes back to bite him in the butt and that Kyle goes down in flames because he destroyed Leftovers to keep Alyssa.

Here's something interesting I heard very late last night about Joseph.
Turner and Terrence were alone talking about how Joseph was acting after he was nominated and it got worse as eviction night came closer and closer.
They said that Joseph never stopped talking and campaigning for himself. That he never shut up, and it really grated on their nerves and they couldn't get away from him in the back yard. And these people were living under horrible conditions.
They said if they were playing Chinese checkers, Joseph would start up about it in front of all of them and spilling all the beans. That he would wake them up when they were sleeping to campaign for himself. Terrence said he kept telling him that he didn't have a vote and couldn't do anything about it and Joseph would still corner him and not leave him alone. And he did it to the others, too. And that Josesph kept spilling beans that he didn't need to, in order to try to save himself.
Now, I believe them on this because we've all seen how Joseph could be relentless in his talking game when playing both sides and pretty much all of us had said we wish he would stop, that it was getting on our nerves.
So, Joesph helped dig his own grave by not allowing people to breathe and gather their own thoughts.

Hi, once again this year I have been lurking and enjoying the updates!!! Most people won’t know this, but my sister is Merrysea, who used to be a moderator on this board, and had many friends here in the BB group as well as on other boards on this site, several of whom she met in person over the years.
I’ve been really debating with myself on whether to make this post, but I thought that you might be wondering why she hasn’t participated in quite awhile. Unfortunately Mary has developed Alzheimer’s, and it’s pretty advanced. While she still knows her family members, she’s not remembering a whole lot else. It’s very sad, especially since she’s only 67 years old (two years younger than me). The good news is that she doesn’t realize she has it, and seems to be in generally good spirits.
Anyway, not trying to be a downer, but thought that her friends here might not know and be wondering about her.

How I see it, they are playing Big Brother. I might not care for some of the players, but Monte is playing Big Brother. Sometimes it's hard to differentiate personalities verses game play. I get it though, there are people I do not want to win the money, based on personality (Terrance, Kyle, Alyssa). The only one not playing Big Brother is Kyle. He should have signed up for Love Island.

Linda, I remember Merry well and wondered where she was. I'm glad you let us know. Even though she doesn't remember us, give her my love and know that my prayers are with you and the family. My Mom had alzheimers and it's truly an awful disease. We felt like we lost her years before we really did, and then mourned her loss again. Much love and hugs to you.
