Our service provider is making some technical changes that are currently scheduled for Thursday, September 1st. It's possible that these changes will mean that TVCH will not be available for as long as ten hours that day. This is an expected interuption in service, so there is no need to email or inquire.
Summary: TVCH may not be available for up to ten hours on Thursday, September 1st.

Just a reminder that there may be an outage tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll all get through it successfully.

Have they estimated when this will start? Being as long as 10 hours is obviously a big chunk of time and they definitely don't want and we don't want them to do a rush job. Those updates are best done with great care.
I'm not on facebook either, so I will be poking around. Will watch Taran on Twitch but that is more him watching, not minute by minute updates.
Also, Biden is speaking at 8pm eastern, which I would think means that at least half the time zones will see a delay.

As far as I know, they haven’t given us a specific window. They said we may be down for up to ten hours but it may be much less. They said they will try to minimize disruptions.

As Kar mentioned in another thread, it’s possible that’s it done and there was no outage. That’s why we said, it's possible that these changes will mean that TVCH will not be available for as long as ten hours that day.
Hopefully, there won’t be an outage.

LOL, I was just going to ask if whatever they needed to do was done.
I know we had a couple of little tiny outages so maybe that was it?????
