They both won the veto since they played as partners. From what Kyle was saying, it seems that Daniel watched a video that he would describe to Kyle, and Kyle would have to answer questions. Kyle said that he had to guess on a few of the questions because what Daniel described was not one what was asked. However, it seems like they don't need to agree on using the veto. Either one of them can decide to use it.

Veto was used (and this was not a lock as the twist had members of the Leftovers rethinking strategies.. Brittany and Michael want a third bestie like Indy who is expendable if they were on the block, Joseph and Monte have their expendable in Terrance but if Nicole is booted, Taylor would choose to be bestie with Terrance which might leave Joseph and Monte vulnerable. Also for some, having a different jury makeup works.. As in Nicole and Daniel would never vote for Taylor.)

He wants to backdoor Daniel. Initially probably put up the three guys, Joseph, Monte and Terrance. He wants to put up all guys. Joseph and Monte have never been up and he hopes they will win POV. He feels bad about Terrance but will explain that it is a backdoor for another target and that the target's bestie will use pov if they were to be drawn to play and win and that of course if Terrance, Monte, Joseph, Brittany or Michael win they would then use pov.
He has talked to Brittany and then Taylor busted in and they celebrated. She likes his plan too.
He will talk to everyone.

Also, it seems that Michael beat Daniel by mere seconds (11 or 4) for HOH. The comp was the one with catwalks that varied with a more direct path but narrower boards (which DerekX tried last year and lost because he fell) and less direct but wider boards. Same setup as last year, reportedly.
Apparetly Jasmine was very halting and slow and didn't finish.

Double eviction in 2 weeks and it will be different. And that's when besties is supposed to end.
