BB23 Tiffany on Twitter told people to vote for Lamar. All the replies were similar to: No way Tiff, I'm voting for Shanna. And comments like, I'm voting for someone that actually played the game!

I'm voting for Carson. He played, he was just duped. Shanna is a good choice too.
But Carson entertained me, and that's my criteria. Plus I just think he's a really good person.

I enjoyed Carson, but not his lack of preparation. He says he just assumed it was like other shows he has done like DWTS, in terms of support and loyalty. I did not enjoy him enabling Todrick and turning on Shanna.I have 4 votes in for Shanna, so far.

Oh, probably a donated item and you just call it an "opportunity drawing" instead of a raffle.
That is how we did it at our big adoption events at the shelter.
I won the $500 Target gift card two years in a row. Hough $40 in tickets each time. I suspect of one to donate a huge loss of litter they needed at a rescue, as they had just taken in over 50 cats from a boarding situation. Also got a throw for a patient I drove to take on a flight, and have a big chunk to another patient who was hurting for funds and bought his low carb protein supplements at Target.
And our shelter benefited from the drawing and other fundraising (silent auction, bake sale and cash donations.
Not planning to send pictures of my vote anywhere.

In Colorado, all that matters is a prize is offered. You don't have to pay to play. Also, there has to be an option to play without doing the required action.
Since I presume she is not limiting it to residents of California, she must abide by the rules of all states. As I understand it.

I have testified before as an expert in what constitutes a lottery.
If there is a clear free entry option, then not a lottery.
If one must furnish a consideration in order to be eligible for a chance in the drawing, then it is a lottery. It would hinge on whether or not a text message or a photo of a text message should be held to be a "consideration" or something of value. Pretty good arguments could be made for both sides of that question. But even if it were held to be an illegal lottery, it is not going to be a successful lottery, so nobody would want to prosecute it anyway.
