You know what makes me a little sad? That the CO alliance was so successful, not only because of the strategy and strength of a few members...but also because of the goodness of those that were non-CO members. Of all the seasons, the non CO HGs were the most unbiased, of race or culture, than any other perhaps. The CO each had a "plus one" that completely believed in them and wholeheartedly supported them and trusted them….to the bitter end. I don't think that might have happened in other season? So yes, kudos to the Cookout... But also they were able to get to the end intact ALSO because of the good "hearts" of the rest. Otherwise this might have been the first year where we would have gotten to the end with 6 HGs who would have equally deserved to win! And THAT has never happened. Hell, some years we didn't even care which one of the last three made it. JMHO

I think you nailed it Since. It wasn't just because there were finally enough numbers of diversity. It was better casting of the non-cookout members as well.

Omg Since. I’ve been trying to say exactly what you said so many time but you nailed it. And kslover, I think this was racism on blast but I’ll probably get blasted for saying it. Lol

Since, i like your post. Its a feeling I have had the entire season. On the other hand, POC have never had that luxury. Interesting cast and dynamics this season.

No, Chippy, it was exactly that. Racism goes both ways, all ways. But I also think it was about damn time they got a turn. Just my humble opinion.

I hear all those factors and agree, but one season in two decades, I can accept. But it is harder to accept that even WITHIN the cookout, it is looking like they are right back to targeting the women and keeping those who really don't contribute. So the sword is double edged. Still I'm glad we didn't end up with the Frenchie and other white males being the only ones left. Just sick that Kyland has won AGAIN and will target someone who has supported him all season and keep Xavier and Big D around (for different reasons). Good summary, Since!! I hate that we could lose Tiffany and if she wins POV, it is iikely Hannah going (if I am reading that correctly. (consider that I haven't been on feeds today at all, just finished an all morning conference on Alzheimer's )

Alzheimer's = flipping brutal! I expected Ky would go for Azah. They have never mixed. But I guess he isn't worried about her winning anything. And no doubt he would win against her.

The Cookout had a celebration when Alyssa went out the door. They accomplished their goal. BUT to berate and demonize Claire as "bitter" was astonishing to me. I did not see any Cookout members show one twinge of emotion or guilt on eviction night. I want to see how well the Cookout members take it when they get tossed without a second thought by one of their allies. And now that we are down to 6 we are at the same old same old guys dominating the women and getting rid of them.

It could still work for the girls. Ky puts up Tiff/ Hannah. Azah wins veto and takes Tiff down. That leaves Ky only X or DF to nom. Then Azah/Tiff have the two deciding votes and X or DF goes home. Come on, Azah, time to win that veto!

Azah won't win and won't do anything if she does wins. Tiff or Hannah must win. Azah won't vote out DF or X. Anything could happen but the ladies had a chance to dominate and threw it away for the "mission". Now they will be fighting for their BB lives.

@hamsterwatch Hannah asked Kyland why he chose not to throw the HOH to Derek? he said "when I know what I should do, then it's easy to let someone else make the decision.. if I don't, then I'd rather have more control over making that decision. (HUH??)

They basically threw away their chance of dominating and winning solely to eliminate the slight possibility that Claire might somehow win. Is that correct? I don't get it. Even if they had left Claire in the game, there is still no way that she could win over a POC even if she makes it to the final two, if they all vote for the POC?

Jimmer- I don’t know if that would have been true. It would either mean Claire would have gone on a comp run like none other (basically alternating HOH/POV from F7 on), and if the other person was Tiff I’d think at least one of the other 5 POC would think Tiff “betrayed” all of them- and wouldn’t want to reward her for that, history or not.

Kyland has a deal with Azah for now (which she told the camera was not true; she would go after him). I just finished watching Taron and Pooya and they were supposed to throw to BigD and Kyland claims he "accidentally" won while practicing a shot.. right.

Jimmer, it was Alyssa, who stood a better chance to do well than did Claire, and also was teamed up with Xavier. But yes, games were thrown away for this effort. In the end they felt it was important to get all 6 to final 6 to be able to claim that as a first. Kyland and Xavier now have an alliance, horribly named "The Gentlemen" which aids to boot all the women. Kyland is ok with second, as he is sure he he would be brought back to win, a la Cody.

I forgot to add...it was not (again IMHO) even necessary for CO to make final 6 to ensure a CO win. With the cast we have this season. If Tiff, Ky or X made it to the end... Do you think anyone of the jurors..ANY one of them...would have voted on anything other than gameplay? No way. It is almost impossible to think that Claire and Alyssa would have made it to final two for example. Maybe DX? F2 would almost certainly included either Tiff/Ky/X/Hannah...they are such outstanding players. I don't believe any of the jury are going to be bitter... Well I have my doubts about DF....? Also...Josh Martinez identified as "Afro Latino" up until a few years ago. So would that not be the same as if Hannah or Kyland won this year?

No one should feel safe enough at this point to be throwing comps! Ky won the comp because Ky likes being in charge ..... period! That's ok cause that's how all of them should be playing at this point. I thought Ky was smarter than to let X control him but, I've been wrong before. I do think Ky & X are going to drag the 2 goats all the way to F4.

I sure hope that the secrets of X being a lawyer and Derek F being Joe Frasier's son come out on finale night. The CO will understand better how X had such control knowing his career is not a bartender. I'm sure the early evicted HG's will be anxious to tell everyone. 😏

Tiff got to talk to Ky last just before he got called to the DR for noms. What if she got to him enough to rattle him that he ends up putting Tiff and X and says let the better person win, If the noms stay the same after veto, Chadda votes for Tiff, DF for X, and then it all comes down to Azah having to decide. Now that would make a fun week!
