I would love to see Alyssa win just to throw a wrench in the F6 plan. But that would mean X is guaranteed to stay off the block so I’d rather not see Alyssa OR X win HoH… which means one of them probably will…

I have a link too for the east coast airing of the show. I usually only use it for Thursday night episodes and it is not perfect. It pauses a lot and then takes a while to get going again. But the person running it works so hard to get it back up again and will rewind so we haven't missed anything.
Yesterday I used it for Wednesday's episode. It must've gone out no less than 5 times, it was so hard to watch. I thought, that's fine for a Wednesday night show (beggars can't be choosers) but man, during the double, I will be freaking every time it goes out and I will be frantically refreshing and waiting for the website owner to get us a new link.
So, I got to steppin'
I spent time on google (and on here in the Q&A thread because I knew there were past posts on watching CBS Live). I upgraded to the $9.99 Paramount Plus so that I can view live CBS (actually I just did a free trial on a different email and credit card to make sure this works).
Since I'm in California, I now needed a way to get Paramount Plus to show me live tv on an east coast schedule. There's something I was able to add to Google Chrome called "location guard."
I changed my location to New Jersey and voila, I can now watch the double tonight at 5pm my time with hopefully no interruptions (knock on wood).

Thanks Wilson, so happy to hear that BB has been renewed for another season. I hope that BB24 will have ladies who will not be manipulated by the men...that would be SO REFRESHING!!!

Azah can't even win a comp when folks are trying to throw it to her! I will be very shocked if her or BigD win HOH. If it is mental, I believe that Hannah has the best shot at winning. She needs a HOH win for her resume & the obvious folks she will put on the block are X & Allysa - I mean, Allysa going out IS the plan of the CO. (not X's plan, but the plan of the CO as a group).

Gbcole I have had Paramount+ for a while now... Used to be CBS all access before of course.
I never really thought to change the location in order to be able to view the live show eastern time! Would a VPN allow you to view live show also? I'm going to have to test out?

Since...I've never used a VPN so I don't know.

I wonder what's going through X's mind right now.
I do believe he will follow through with getting Alyssa out on the double. Meanwhile, Alyssa is glued to X's side, completely oblivious that she will be going next if everything goes as planned. She is like she's on cloud nine and prattling on nonstop what they do next.
I'm sure he feels bad. I just hope he has some new found empathy for what Tiff went through this week.

Gbcole well, I tried my VPN ... Doesn't affect the location. Although I read there is a way to do it for the VPN.
I did download the Google extension. I put my fixed location in New York. I tried the Paramount+ and had no luck. I also just looked at the YouTube you posted. When I scroll to the bottom there is no "use precise location". So I can't update the location. I can get as far as fixing my location to NY but can't get my PC to recognize it as such

I figured it out. I changed the left hand side to fix location. But under default levels drop down in the middle I did not choose used fixed location. Once I do that I don't even have to use the option offered in the YouTube. Thank you very much for that Gbcole!!!!

I went back just now and on google using Chrome, I typed in Home Decor which is the same as the example he used. It always comes up with my local towns until I scroll all the way down...today it is saying "update location" (little and in blue...very very bottom). When I click on that, it brings me back to New Jersey. Interestingly though, I don't have to do that every time, Paramount+ has stayed on east coast time.
Do you have that little black thing up in the right corner when you open up Google Chrome? If it's not there, you may not have gotten the extension added.

Also, Since, you have to have the commercial free plan of Paramount+
The $9.99 plan is needed to see CBS Live TV. Otherwise they show all sorts of news, etc. on the $4.99 plan when you hit "Live TV."
That part I don't think I would have ever figured out except for the Q&A thread on this board talking about it.

Gbcole yes I have the $9.99 commercial free. And yes I have that little black icon that looks like somebody splashed some paint LOL.
I did not have the option it showed in the youtube. But when I click on the extension and fixed my location. I had forgotten to go to the default level drop down where it says use fixed location. That was what did it for me. Once I did that it changed my location at the bottom of the page to the city I had chosen. Instead of home decor I put in Home Depot. I got the ones in the city that I chosen. Very cool trick!
I actually enjoyed watching the local news of the small town I had chosen. They were showing the flooding in Bridgeport and interviewing local people. This would be a very useful tool if you were interested in following the local news happenings of a certain town. Or wanted to view a local show!

I did the same thing. I pulled it up about 15 minutes ago to make sure it was still working and it was the 6 o'clock news in the town I chose. I thought, this is very interesting! LOL
