I didn't do anything with bb all day yesterday, so I'm out of the loop. Does this video mean there's a chance of DX staying this week?
quote:Shower Claire's Shower Cry | SMEG | #bb23 @girl_smeg Ky tells X about the plan to keep DX. Ky: Claire as HOH has a higher probability of leaving 2 members of the 6 up there.

It’ll be interesting if nothing else to see how non CO react when they realize their whole game was just them being used for some imagined greater good. Christian is already cheering them on in his best woke fashion, well, with the farce of a caveat that of course he’d rather Alyssa win. Ok Christian. I really think we’ll never know how they actually feel about it. After all, we know they’ve had inklings they just shrugged off thinking no way people would segregate based on color… I’m sad for iit cause I’m old enough to remember from where we came. And that my annual mindless summer escape from real life got eaten up by it. Maybe I’ll take up knitting.

I know from watching this I am now rethinking all the “real friends” that I thought I had all these years. I really loved some of these people of color and thought of them as family. Now I am wondering where they really my friends are did they just think of me as one of those white people we can pull the wool over there eyes. Very sad when I think of this. Sorry I just needed to vent. I will always question my ability to trust people after watching this season.

Yeah, I suspect we really won't know how the non-cookout people feel as they will keep those thoughts private. Have we ever seen a large alliance where each member had their fake duo person to use and discard? Hannah - u/d Derek X Tiff - u/d Claire Ky - u/d SB X - u/d Christian, now Alyssa Azah - u/d Brit That's a lot of people who have cause to be quite bitter.

Brenda: And Big D can say he was just there and didn't have a duo .. until he was with Azah.

None of the CO men want a CO woman in the F2 because the jury will be dominated by females. If X doesn't get whacked by a BB Power or twist or the double/triple eviction he is the winner. The other CO members can watch him drive off with all the money in his new Land Rover while they tell us it was all worth it for the "mission". Many of the CO members do not even like each other. I don't see any friendship gestures among them. Tiff and Big D, Tiff and Azah Tiff and Kyland really don't mix well. Meantime - DX is comforting a crying Claire in the shower when he knows he will go up. She knows it too and is truly sad that he will go. There is a genuine bond here that I really don't see among any of the CO members.

Ya that makes it worse Hwest. In another time, the CO members wouldn’t be aligned at all. And these twists hurt non CO even when fans tried to help. Add to that the people who won anything were so easily manipulated and so worried about going against the HOH… they have some fault but they really didn’t have a chance against this kind of alliance. Even their votes at the end aren’t that important. I want my summer back. Lol

Some people on Twitter have suggested that if the nominee of the Roulette Wheel vetoes himself, that the Roulette Wheel should choose the replacement. We had Be Right Back, now kittens. Hmmmmm........

The more I think about this, the more it makes sense. The HOH did not nominate Xavier, so why should the HOH pick the replacement? Has anyone seen any rules about this at all?

If I was Alyssa I'd refuse to spin it again. I think the HOH should pick the replacement.

Also from Spoilergirl, production tried (4 times) to get Derek X to play for the roulette yesterday and he refused; they have no sympathy for him. Dang it DX.

Hi everyone, I read this board every year, and have only posted once or twice, but I want to share my thoughts about this season. First, for years I have been wanting a cast of more regular people who had normal bodies and lives other than aspiring to make it in Hollywood after the show, and I got it. This season has proved that smart people will win over those types. I, like most people here, really like DX and Claire, and I’m really sad about the predicament they’re in now. I don’t know how it could possibly happen (although BB has stepped in before to change things around), but I wish they could both stay. That being said, the cookout has truly been an awesome alliance as alliances go. What I mean by this is that there are some in it, particularly Tiffany, that really know BB and the history. The history of BB is that no black person has ever won the show, and that is the goal that brought them together, not bromances, showmances, working out, or friendships. They don’t have to like each other to have a common goal that they each believe in. The reality is that Tiffany’s idea of each bringing in someone from outside the group is brilliant, and I’m afraid in the end she won’t get appropriate credit for it. In my mind, I haven’t seen as good of a strategic player in a really long time, and she approaches my favorite player of all time who didn’t win but should have, Danielle Reyes. Unfortunately, to accomplish their goal, my favorites will be gone too soon and it won’t be nearly as enjoyable for me, but hats off to the cookout for forming early and actually sticking together no matter what. And now I really hope that somehow, some way, they get rid of X, because even though he has won comps, I don’t want him to win. Thanks for listening to my rant! And I will continue to enjoy your postings!!!

Linda you said it better than I ever could. I feel exactly the same way. Hats off to them! But I do not enjoy watching their big alliance any more than I did others steamroll through. and yep Tiffany for the win at this point! But I am afraid that is not going to happen. One of the CO men will become victor !

That's the reason I like/d the Cookout from the beginning... they decided they would work towards a common goal.. they never have met all in the same room (alone).. they don't like everyone in the group and yet they are going to stick with it.. But, I thought the original goal was to get everyone to jury.. and then we'll see... With who they have the odds of getting at least one of the cookout members to final two is pretty high.. but now they are so focused on the "final 6" that they are now just handing Xavier/Kyland the final two seats unless .. they wake up and send both out during the triple eviction that people are guessing is going to happen. Teran has stated that even that is going to keep the 6 from celebrating together for even a short time.. as 2 of their members (along with the remaining non cookout member) exit all in the same night.

Hamsterwatch posted on Twitter a photo of half of the memory wall being unlit. That may be the reason for no feeds rather than a competition of some sort.
