I just went from a fliptop to an iPhone a few days ago and I don't know much about using it yet. Definitely don't know how to text to a non-person, though I fumbled around and somehow managed one vote and received an acknowledgment. Now I'm lost as to how to repeat it.

It says it's a high roller game.
Does this mean that if a hg decides to use their money, it doesn't automatically mean they get the prize? That they actually have to play a game and try to win it?

I think that's right Grooch. I think everyone gets SOME amount of money, and the players get to choose how much of it to spend. And it sounds like more than one player can play whichever game they want, or even save the money for next week when new powers are in the High Roller room.
So one part of the strategy may be that Ky may save his money or play in the same game as his nominee to block them from getting a power.
My question is whether it's guaranteed that someone will win the power. What if three players are playing a slot machine and none of them win? BB better have thought this through carefully. Or, is someone FOES always win, what if the players "space out" and play different games and they all win a power? The nom pool could become really small!
And will they KNOW who won a power or is it NOT like a casino and they go in one at a time?
yikes, so many questions.

I put in 5 votes for DX and 5 for Claire..
And I'm thinking each of the games will have some sort of scoring system, and each attempt at the game will cost money (for example, say it's a slot machine-type game, and $10 will give you 7 spins to score as much as possible).
I'd guess they'll go in individually, see how much money is in their "account", and then decide to play or not- and after they play, they can pay to try again or stick with their score (but if they try again, only their last score will count).
That way unless everyone turns it down (unlikely, since the first power is taking yourself off the block and this is going to happen after nominations- so whoever is nommed will attempt it at least), there will be a winner.
I'll give an hypothetical example for a game:
"Losers Take All"
There's a slot machine setup, and on the reels are the 5 evicted HG's. The reels rotate, and the player has to press a button to stop the reels one at a time to land on a picture (and they can memorize the sequences on each reel so it's about timing). Their objective is to land on matching HG pictures to score points- but the earlier the person went out, the fewer times they appear on each reel, and the higher the payoff is.
To continue the example, the payoffs could be:
Travis/Travis/Travis 100 pts
Frenchie/Frenchie/Frenchie 75 pts
Brent/Brent/Brent 60 pts
Whitney/Whitney/Whitney 50 pts
Christian/Christian/Christian 40 pts
Any 2 Travis 30 pts
Any 2 Frenchie 25 pts
Any 2 Brent 20 pts
Any 2 Whitney 15 pts
Any 2 Christian 10 pts

Listening to Taran, I think this is how this week goes:
$100 - Derek F, Briniti, Derek X
$75 - Tiffany, Hannah, Xavier
$50 - Alyssa, Claire, Kyland, Azah, Sarah Beth
Power in Play this Week - 2nd Veto
Four people paid $50 to bet. So, Kyland, Claire, Derek F, and Sarah Beth are going to place their $50 bet on someone who is competing for Veto. If that person that they bet on wins, a 2nd Veto is in play.

And here are the other 2 powers apparently-
-Nomination Roulette; if it’s won, one of the two noms must be taken down; then a wheel is spun with everyone except the HOH and the noms on it, whoever it lands on is nominated
-Flip the House; whoever wins it has to call a coin toss correctly- if they do, the HOH noms are voided and that person can replace them with two noms of their own…secretly.

I finally watched the show and there is no way america voted for Big D to get more money than others. Him calling Tiff a (B word) over and over didnt set well with me and Im sure most woman didnt appreciate it. He can go. I cant stand him

When I voted in my phone, and voted for Derrick , it did not ask me which one. Just accepted the votes.
When I voted in my iPad , it asked which Derrick , with a choice of Number for F or X.
So , I do think there were many miscounted votes before they corrected the system .

I echo what Lafatme said. I appreciate you who keep things going with your knowledge of what's going on in here. I've also been here since season 1. And, 20 years older! I used to be so much more die hard. I'm grateful to come here and get updates. And Dipo, I appreciate all your hard work with getting all those tweets and posting them! I still have feeds but get so frustrated with all the breaks. Every year it seems like more and more.

It looks like on the 2nd veto that if it’s not used, it goes back up fo possibly being won the following week- if it’s used, it’s out of the game. Plan is for Kyland to use it to get rid of it.

As of now:
Cla/Ky/SB won’t be able to play the roulette game next week (costs $125-not enough $ even with top 3)
X/Han/DX/Brit (if she’s there) can play regardless of vote finish next week
Tiff needs top 3 vote to be able to play
Az/Aly/DF (if he’s there) needs 2nd 3 or better to be able to play
Cl/Ky/SB/Tiff even with 2 top 3 finishes can’t afford coin flip game (costs $250)- all others can depending on vote results (Al/Az/DF must place top 3 next week to still have a chance at it- Han/X need 2nd 3 or better- Brit/DX no matter the result can still get there, though in the latter’s case it’s likely moot since she’s probably gone this week)

Here are the games:
Veto Derby $50 - You will be able to bet on one of the player's competing in the next veto competition. If that houseguest wins, you will earn a second veto.
Chopping Block Roulette $125 - Win this game and you'll have the power to remove a nominee, and a spin the roulette wheel will determine their replacement.
Coin of Destiny $250 - Win the game and you'll have the chance to overthrow the HOH with a flip of a coin. Call it correctly and the HOH is yours.
