Dang . and Britini is going to be first member of the Jury... so she will be alone for at least a couple of days (if there is a double elimination) up to an entire week (if there is not).
She may love to decompress and get the best room.. unless because of Covid they stick everyone in their own hotel rooms...
Britini is going to be devastated when she realizes there was nothing she could have done to get any further in the game.

I wish Big D was going and not her. I would also rather SB go than her. She was never in my top 4 favs but this just seems so cruel

I agree, Pamy. I found Britini odd but amusing. She seems to have unlimited energy, versus some of our "bed bugs."

I do not care for Britini in this game. She is not emotionally mature or in any way equipped to process this experience. Having said that I take no pleasure in watching her be crushed by the betrayal of her two closest team mates.
DX is also surrounded by a bunch of snakes but he will process the experience in an adult way. By next week there will be 10 Hg's and 6 of them will be "Cookout". DX is toast unless he puts all of the pieces together. I am hoping the twists rid us of at least one Cookout member so that the underdogs can make some headway.

On the one hand, I support what the minority players are doing with the Cookout.
On the other hand, My favorites are a mix of Cookout and Non-Cookout members.
I am torn.

Hwest, agree that Britini has maturity problems, so this betrayal will hit her very hard. How is she going to spend her last few days in the house sharing a room with the closest people to her in the game that will betray her?
How are Azah and DF going to get through this? It is the reality of the Cookout alliance smacking them right in the face.

When I went out to lunch, DF was peeling potatoes. I come back an hour and a half later, and he is still cooking breakfast!
People must be starving.
At my waterfront lunch (so Good!) my waitress looked like Claire, so I gave her an extra-good tip. LOL

Listening to these thoughtful, educated houseguests, I can't help but think how unfair I was in the beginning of the season. I was not happy about how young the cast is, now I realize that I pre-judged them based on prior seasons. I regret that now.
Claire listens to 'This American Life'. I could not love her any more!

As time goes on today, I see Britini talking to the other HG and everyone is pretending that all is normal and there is nothing happening that will lead to Brit's demise in the game.
This must be very difficult for the HG, but the more they stay strong and don't let on to anything, the more hurt she will be. Making this hard to watch.

I look at the Cookout like the Brigade, they managed the house and got out everyone else and then went for it.
So, that is what the Cookout Alliance is doing.
I think it is good for Britini to go to jury, it will be more hurtful for her to stay and she will have some time to process what happened and come to peace with it.

I love the diverse cast and hope to see this again and again. However, I find it hard to characterize one of the minority members winning as a huge accomplishment. Big Brother is not curing cancer or the Nobel Peace Prize it is a game where the best liar/con artist rolls the other people in the house.
I just want to cheer on the people I like for the way they are playing the game. DX is my favorite but I like some of the Cookout too. In the end, I will be happy with any of these people winning.

I was reading on hamsterwatch.com that Xavier told Azah this morning that Brit was going to be the replacement nominee. So I guess Azah didn't know this. Xavier said largely it was because Brit got 100 BB bucks and Claire only got 50. I guess Brit shouldn't have shared how many bucks she got. 😞

I feel like it is 'outside interference' in the game to have viewers vote to help their favorites, and then their favorite is evicted due to the good will of the fandom.
It just feels like there is something wrong about this.

I am so torn about what is happening. I have waited for years for a diverse cast, just like a lot of you. The comparison to the Brigade gave me pause. It is indeed just like that. But instead of a group of macho white men, we have a group of POC, specifically black people. If you put enough people with a common background in the house, they will band to gather. Being female is not enough for a group of females to bond, we have found that. Maybe a group of female athletes, or asian females, I do not know.
What I do know is I am enjoying this season, and yes I would be happy with any of them winning. Even though DX is my favorite as well.
I do not now what this means for future casting. But I am going to enjoy the heck out of this season.
