We don't have any reliable explanation yet of how the Money/Casino Powers work. We won't know who got what BB Bucks until tomorrow's show.

The more Taran talks, the more confusing it gets.
I guess they're going all in on the Casino theme at this point, after coming out of their Middle Ages phase.
I feel like 'THIS IS BIG BROTHER' is on the Live Feeds, but 'THIS IS A COMPLICATED GAME SHOW' is on the TV.

Listening to Taran, I think this is how this week goes:
$100 - Derek F, Briniti, Derek X
$75 - Tiffany, Hannah, Xavier
$50 - Alyssa, Claire, Kyland, Azah, Sarah Beth
Power in Play this Week - 2nd Veto
Four people paid $50 to bet. So, Kyland, Claire, Derek F, and Sarah Beth are going to place their $50 bet on someone who is competing for Veto. If that person that they bet on wins, a 2nd Veto is in play.

At least Taran is reporting that the house does not want Claire out - seems that Alyssa or Britini are who they want out.
So that's some good news. I look forward to seeing them convince Ky, and also who will get picked to play for veto.

I honestly think that we will have a better idea of what is happening and who got what on tomorrow night's show. I tried to piece together what Taran was saying, but he also was just trying to piece together on what he heard on the feeds. So, what I reported above could be wrong.

It may seem as if the punishment costumes/phrases don’t quite fit with the poker theme, but I think they do.
The face cards in a deck have queens/kings, which is similar to “lords/ladies...”.
They tied in the Jack card via Ky’s “Jumpin’ JACKass” costume. It’s a stretch, but six degrees of separation will always lead back to a deck of cards, which takes it home to the poker theme!

Taran in his update said Britni explained the other two powers....
-One is if you're nommed you can take yourself down and leave the others to Nomination Roulette- literally, as they get to spin a wheel and whoever it lands on is nommed. And if it's won, it HAS to be used. (I think if a non-nom wins it they have to use it as well; they'd be safe I'd assume)
-The other is literally Flip the House; someone will have to call a coin flip; and if they do it correctly, they can secretly go into the DR and replace the HOH noms with noms of their own...

Cali, I have twisted my thought process into a pretzel and I finally understand the deck of cards/casino/costume theme connection.
Can’t wait to see how twisty I need to get to understand the BB Beach House theme. Unless that part just refers to the decor and not any twists or punishments.
Is it too much to ask that we just go back to our regular BB programming? 🤨

Wilson, I am not liking any of this. They are creating a situation where is doesn’t matter if you win comps. It doesn’t matter if you are strategic. It doesn’t matter how many alliances and connections you’ve made in the house to advance your game.
It can all be pulled out from under you with a coin flip or roulette wheel. So why would anyone even try?
Maybe Big D has it all figured out. Just lay in the bed all day and let everyone else scramble, get a great edit on the tv show by calling women “effing Bs” so the tv audience gives you money. Then use that money to toss a hardworking player out the door on a coin flip!

Rose- it fits with the gambling/luck aspect of the season; and to be fair, you do need luck to win at BB, it's just been more subtle. (How many crapshoot comps have we complained about in the past? It's no different than this except the audience determines the chances to a certain extent)

Yeah, Wilson, an audience who just sees what production wants them to see.
I get that this is MY problem. LOL! I am watching live feeds, and rarely watch the tv show, so I am seeing a very different house than what the tv voting audience sees.

Also, I do get annoyed with the “crapshoot” HOH comps. But this is on a whole other level.
Low information people are literally shaping the game, with the capacity to randomly destroy someone who worked hard to get where they are. That a slouch player like Big D could have this kind of influence for doing nothing just infuriates me.

Mama, I think they bet on the veto players and if the one they bet on wins, then that allows for a second veto. I think.

Not sure who the veto players are, but DF acts like he is playing.
ETA - Of course DF is playing, heh - being that he's on the block. Duh.
Sounds like it's Azah, Brit and Alyssa - but lots of conflicting info so far.

Hannah and DX are studying with Claire, drilling her on possible OTEV questions.
I am reading on Twitter that they have placed their bets on the veto players, so I guess that's why it was announced that it will be OTEV.
