Everyone thought Jess was a stupid idiot for picking Jackson for the veto comp. Well, it was the best thing that ever happened.
He ends up hurting his foot, which decreases his chance of ever winning another comp again. Yes!

I remember Cliff saying after this comp that he sat at the end of the bench and he was helping Jackson by keeping an eye on his water level or something like that.
Point being, he was trying to help Jackson win.
