Big Brother Canada starts on Wednesday, March 6th!
For anyone who hasn't seen Big Brother Canada, it's a great series that anyone who enjoys Big Brother would enjoy. Very similar to the U.S. version, though I think the Canadian one tends to be a bit more innovative in trying new things and sticking to them.
Similar to the U.S. Big Brother, we used to have separate threads for the TV shows and the live feeds but we found in the past that there wasn't enough posting to justify separate threads and it just confused the conversation. So I think we'll just stick with this for now and see how it goes.

Any US viewers have a recommendation for VPN they use? I worry about malware and want to be sure that I'm using something safe. I wish that we could just pay a small fee to watch directly from the stream.

That’s a good article. I’ve heard of Nord VPN and Hide My Ass. The one that I’m currently using myself is Express VPN. It’s good but I’m in Canada so I’ve never used it to watch BB Canada so I’m not sure how well it would work for that purpose. Actually, I can give it a try (it allows you to select Canadian servers if you want) and let you know how it works.
You might want to try one that has a trial period, just to be sure it works okay.

I didn't even have to remember when it starts. My PVR shows my future recording and BB Canada is already set to record. (I guess my PVR still has 'series recording' from previous seasons). What I like to see is the look of the house this year, I used to like the furniture. Also, the theme, I liked them in the past. I did like in the beginning of last season I think, those chosen to live in the bad house and the others in the nice house... or maybe I'm confused with other BB. But I like to start off with the least advantaged players and to see how they get to be better than the advantaged ones. I think it was the case last year... or was it the year before?

I'm not familiar with TunnelBear, but they all work pretty much the same way. You can configure your devices (PC, phone, tablet, etc.) manually or they often provide applications that you can install that will take care of that for you. Unless you're a computer geek, installing the application is the easier route.
Once the application is installed, it's a matter of selecting the server location (in your situation you would want it to be in Canada) and then connecting. Your internet will start going through the VPN.
Generally speaking, I only turn mine on when necessary and then turn it off when I'm done, as the speeds can be slower when using a VPN. When necessary would be any time I want to access a website in another country where my access may otherwise be restricted or anytime I'm using a public WiFi network (the VPN makes it much safer).
Be sure to test it out right away by accessing a few videos from the Canadian BB site (link at the top of the page).

The house pics are up (hamsterwatch’s Twitter has some good ones)- one thing I’ll give BBCan credit for is the house decor (the have not room looks brutal, but after the first few days they’ll probably let them sleep on the floor instead of the chairs)

Just checked out the HG's, interesting combination. I wish there was more age variety though, everyone is in 20-early 30 and one 40 year old, the Psychic mother of 4. Wonder if she will be able to predict them ganging up on her?!!
