It worked 1-2pm for me, Puzzled, and it should return 2.55pm for BOTS.

I thought Gary was treating Dee badly in that, and she just was the first to decide she'd had enough. It seemed like he was being deliberately awkward.

Did you notice when Edele got upset about his saying "You're not making sense" instead of "I don't understand you?" That's a very Gary thing, every problem (we see) seems to start with him saying either directly or indirectly that there's a problem with the other person, instead of a more neutral comment. It gets people's backs up.

Spunky, from what I seen today, Gary is difficult to communicate with, something I had not thought about, is him trying to understand the rapid pace they speak along with the accents. My hearing is fine and I have trouble at times. My problem is they keep calling him rude, and not only are they rude, insulting to his face, they attack him on such a personal level.... he is their punching bag. Stephanie said he touched the chicken with his bare hands... well bring out the firing squad! Most of the world has not dealt with germaphobes, IMO she should not be in there with that condition, expecting others to cater to her neurosis, but not once has anyone complained about her crazy needs. George said he was not there to babysit, Dee told him he was not fit to do tasks, they go at him with such disrespect and if he says one defensive word it is a witch hunt. I hope the public keeps him in just because they all want him out so bad. Dee, Steph, George, Lauren and Ricci are like watching paint dry. I am rooting for Audley to win and Gary to make it to top three!

Puzzled, I wasn't online for the first half of the show but the second half streamed fine for me & the eye is streaming right now. BOTS is up soon.

I would suggest cutting & pasting the stream URL in the VLC player. Make *sure* there are no spaces in the URL. My VLC player has a space stuck before the network stream URL that I can't seem to get rid of & if I don't delete the space, I get error messages.

Either input this link into the player or as a web address & it will play in a window instead of the media player.

Do *not* hyperlink this URL, it is truncated, only copy & paste it.

Oh I see, well definitely a Brit would take offense with Gary's choice of words, but see how we are so different, if Gary told me 'you're not making any sense' and me considering his age and weak hearing, I would patiently repeat myself and explain myself better and maybe even ask Gary if he understood me. There are ways and ways to deal with Gary.

But to me it seems they're ganging up on him, he's the classical 'under dog' in that house and maybe the public could keep him just because of that. But a double eviction could be too much to hope for another save.

I think we miss so much though. The first few times if he says "you're not making any sense," the next few times I'd point it out but still reply politely, then I'd begin to get a bit fed up with it.

You have to remember they're all dealing with stuff in their own way. This is not The Gary Show. George had it right, he's not there to babysit, he's there to do his own thing. It is hard enough caring for someone you love for more than a couple of weeks, but for someone who you have no relationship with, who's rude and doesn't treat you very well, it must be extremely difficult.

Thanks so much, Willwill. I'll try that, but it might be that something in my computer is messing things up. I tried streaming on DH's computer and everything works. Always something, eh?

In dysfunctional families, there's often one person designated as the problem, and everyone can concentrate on that person's "faults" instead of their own. Gary is the HMs' "problem" person aka scapegoat.

We see that even in normal Big Brother houses. What I'm saying is just because someone is disadvantaged in some way, doesn't make them a nice person, doesn't make them easy to live with, and to be fair to everyone, not just the disadvantaged person, we have to understand that not everyone is good at dealing with problem people (and I'm talking about Gary's innate personality, not his disabilities or physical limitations) because they have limitations of their own.

True, Kitt. I guess I'll never figure out just how hard Gary is to live with, since everyone has a stake in getting him out.

Gary leaned in and said, "I'm not your dad" which I guess set Dee off ... I'm thinking she's probably been one of the few patient ones with Gary but gee, I wish she could have gone off with the "in my face" rant about a different conversation if there was one.

And I agree with you, Kitt, not everyone is good at dealing with problem people ... but it says more about the person who's having difficulty dealing -- whether it's inexperience, intolerance or impatience.

Apparently, Gary wants to portray himself as a 70 year old, hard-of-hearing, brain injured person who thinks he has words of wisdom, or as Kellie says, he's playing them all. Either way, from their reaction, it doesn't make him the bad guy, but maybe, maybe they've reacted in a way they just know isn't justified. I'm not sure why they constantly talk about him. If he was that much of a bother, I would try to avoid him and certainly wouldn't let him take up too much space in my head. (Personally, he reminds me of my mother and I know it took a great deal of patience). With that said, I don't believe he should win, but it also gives me a better perspective towards the others who I think should not win. (Sorry for the rant).

All of his physical problems aside, he does nothing to help the situation. It's always someone else's fault. Always. No matter what happens, he doesn't say, I don't understand, he says you don't make sense. He pretends to accept what they are saying, but does the same things over and over. He is dirty and a health hazard, but instead of changing, he makes fun of them complaining about him. I couldn't eat from a platter when someone else had handled the food on it and I don't have any kind of germ phobia. I live by the five second rule. LOL

Everyone who uses VLC--I went to their forum and was told to reset the preferences, and it worked like a charm.

I think George saying that he didn't come to babysit was vile. He doesn't do anything for Gary, anyway, so what's his problem. I guess he's eaten up with jealousy that the old brain-damaged guy gets the most cheers.

Gary isn't dirty any more. He takes showers and Audley and Edele have both washed his clothes--without a James-type lecture.

Live eviction show and spoiling is starting. Double eviction so expect the first one out a little earlier than usual.

Cheers and jeers:
Audley mild cheers
Edele mild cheers
Gary cheers
James big boos
Kellie big boos
Stephanie mix

Puzzled we don't know that George hasn't been "babysitting" Gary. I totally agree, bit of an offensive word (but used commonly enough in such circumstances) but his meaning was clear and I assume if he said that he feels that he's been caring for Gary's needs.

I don't think they're jealous of Gary's cheers, I think they're dumbfounded. Imo a good one to look at is Edele, she always seems thoughtful and we've seen her help Gary and try to explain things to him, and even she's had enough of it. If she, a caring person and mother, wants it to stop then how's someone like George, lives at home probably spoonfed by his mother going to feel? He didn't come into the house for this experience and I can completely understand him being frustrated by it.

He is not deaf, he is manipulating us, and he is sly.... so we are going to sit right next to him and talk about him like he is not there! He is the rude one Dee and Lauren?

Emma's talking to the house already. Going to save two.

In the run through Gary actually got some boos this time.

The two with the most votes to save (in no particular order) and safe are:

James
Gary

James seemed to start off pretending to be wonderful, phrasing his criticisms in a way that he thought would cover them. Now since the constant boos he's decided to play the "I'm evil and you love it" game and is telling the DR and everyone that he's winding people up on purpose for fun. Today's vote with him being one of the most popular is just going to make him worse. I hope he overplays it and it comes back to bite him.

It's time. Emma talks to the house.

The fourth person evicted from CBB is

Stephanie!

I am so glad she is out, I didn't like the fact that her brother pulled strings to get her into the house. When her germaphobia came out she pushed me over the edge. Someone like that should never have been in that house.

It seems a stupid thing to do when you're a germophobe. But I guess she wanted the publicity.

And again. Emma talks to the house. Chants seem to mostly be "Get Kellie Out!' but they're mixed with something else.

The fifth person evicted from CBB is

Kellie!

Kind of sad to see Kellie go but the mood swings were kind of hard on the other housemates. I totally understand the hormone treatments but even after those were back under control she still would still have emotional swings.

BOTS is not until 3.05pm board time because of a Joan Rivers tribute.

There doesn't seem to be any live feed show tonight.

Yes, I think it was too soon for Kellie to go in, too difficult with the hormones.

It'll be interesting (although I don't think I'll seek it out) to see what she does now. Frank really wasn't a very nice person, and I wonder if Kellie will be nicer or not.

So another couple of weeks and this is over. I like when they're short like this one.

Do you know if this just a summer job for Emma or does she do something else during the winter? I mean this is just exhausting to be on the show almost every day. Seems to me in the UK they put a lot of effort for Big Brother shows, I mean the daily show AND the side show, that's a lot of work for a summer job. The sponsor is the Casino, like they got a lot of money to pay out to the show or is just a publicity ad for the show. Just curious...
