Did you Audley fans not think he was fake? He seemed extremely good at reacting to outside info, only being nice to Gary after Gary's first cheers, only criticising James after he got booed etc. He just seems ultra competitive and was playing the game more than anyone.
My bias against him goes back to his time on Strictly. He was one of those ones who think because they work hard it means they should be getting 10s, regardless of how good they are at dancing. Not everyone has a talent for dancing, and if you don't you should just enjoy the experience as much as you can, not constantly complain about judges underscoring you.

OMG! Whoever wrote that has a wonderful sense of humor. LOL
Gary isn't legendary in Hollywood, he is a joke. I think he should stay in England since he is appreciated there. We sure are sick of him on our reality shows.

Mamabatsy, you're definitely in the minority on Gary. Are you his ex-wife, a former GF or did he deny you a free autograph? LOL
Would I want to live with him? No, but there was NO ONE in that house I would have wanted to live with either. Gary sure is funny and fascinating to watch too.

Not a fan either. I don't mind his eccentricity but not his manners or his meanness.
Hard to know who's in the minority, and I don't see why it matters. Remember Helen won this year's main BB, and no way did the majority of voters want her to win, it's just those who did were willing to vote a LOT. For all we know Gary has the same sort of voters. Or he may not, BB aren't going to tell us so there's not much point speculating.

Kitt, I didn't think Audley was fake. I don't think we saw much of him at the beginning of the series except with Kellie. He didn't vote for Gary during the first round of nominations and he told Steph, in so many words, that the way she nominated Gary was out of line. At that point, there wasn't an eviction so I don't think the housemates would have known how the public felt.
I also think he had the problem with James (I'm not afraid of you) before knowing how the public felt since James wasn't up for eviction until much later on in the series.
I never heard of Audley before this show so I didn't know he had a reputation from Strictly.

Well he had the problem with James back from when he was on Strictly so he did have an issue from the start, it just seemed to me like his willingness to act on his feelings changed with public input. I always find these ultra competitive types hard to watch, too much ego for my tastes. He was much much easier to stomach than James though, that's for sure!

Every year I try to get people to watch CBB or BB UK. Every person I gave links to bowed out when they heard/saw that Gary was on. I'm not an ex - never met the man in person, but have seen him on way too many shows. Will never waste my time watching him again. No matter how much I like the show, he's just not worth it. Mean, nasty, dirty man.

I just downloaded the whole season even though I know who won. I am up to episode 4 and at this point I am just curious how Gary survived the season when up to this point everyone in the house hates him ....LOL
This is really a fun season so far. I'm glad I decided to download it. I had skipped the last couple seasons because I didn't recognize any of the names.

I never felt one way or another about Gary.... watched him on the Apprentice so knew he was difficult. I tend to root for the underdog, but the gang mentality of all who felt it was their right to open season on him, and some were down right vicious, while he was appearing to make an effort won me over. Audley is my next favorite. I am not aware of what Strictly is, but I said it before, it was more about who I did not want to win. The others over the seasons have stripped nude, not showered, been snobs and slobs, but Gary could not breathe without blatent diisrespect thrown his way... I believe that is why the GBP voted for him.
