I would rather see the money go to a proven charity such as St. Judes or the American Cancer Society, if it can not go directly to Britney and her husband.

That money will be given to Britney and her husband if they accept. Otherwise to a charity of their choice. I feel comfortable with that. Others may not.

I am sure the baby will be sent to St Jude's in Memphis which is totally free of charge. Depending on what part of Arkansas they live in - it likely isn't that far from home.

It really depends on the type of cancer.. some kids need to go to Sloan-Kettering in NY, some trials are in San Francisco, or at MD Anderson.. and there are lots of kids being treated in Alabama (and there are many more places, of course). Sometimes a doctor will be a leader in one area and then relocate.
But St Jude can be wonderful, if they fit and were accepted.
And there are travel and housing expenses that may not be covered. They will probably need help, for sure. Hopefully they will have strong local support through this as well.

Blessings and prayers to Tilley and family. My BFF is undergoing chemo right now, and the worry is tearing me up. I can't imagine having a baby enduring the same thing.

It really is so sad and I hate that someone took her private FB post and put it on blast, even if it was well-meaning.
The site seems a bit overwhelmed. I doubt they have a clue of the number of people who will actually care about Tilly.
I had a hard time getting in at all, then getting to the blog, but I did. Making a donation didn't work (but I'll go back) and so far there isn't a way to sub to the blog or comment, as far as I can tell.
What a nightmare for them, but she's right, there are some good things that will come out of a situation no one EVER wants.
