Spencer does not condone child abuse or child pornography. There is no evidence to support that.
These kinds of implications have been posted on multiple sites ever since he made a very unfortunate inappropriate joke. Had he know that this was going to be an internet accusation I am sure he would never had made the comment.

CBS announced a new VP for alternative programming today - he's been involved with BB for the past four years as the shows publicist (and TAR since season 7 as well along with other shows)

The" comment" that he made was that he liked to jack off to child porn. Even if it was a joke, it was more than just poor taste - it was offensive and while, I am sure he said it for the shock effect -- nobody says stuff like that. Really what sort of a perspo do you have to be to even have that stuff come out of your mouth. His constant use of the "C" word to describe women would be enough to send me running to the hills if I was his girlfriend. I dated many people in my youthful single days and never did I know or associate with any man that used that word. It says something about a person who uses that word in terms of their view of women.

Maris- he did not say that HE liked to do that- he was pretending to be McRae using McRae's mike while he was in the shower and chose the most offensive thing he could think of as he was jokingly being McRae. I was totally offended by Spencer on many occasions but this particular incident took on a life of its own that I feel was unfair.

It came out of his mouth thought Meggie and no normal human being says stuff like that. It was a sick comment and he can make jokes saying someone else likes to do it but the thought entered his head. Whatever comes down on him, I have no sympathy. Then again, isnt it diabolical to accuse someone else of that? It was sick.

I'm aware that Spencer probably meant it as a joke. My point is that, because of this case, he should have been aware of how seriously law enforcement in his area would take statements like his seriously & check into it. He should have been aware that it was in poor taste in the first place but this case has made headlines several times since the man's arrest. If you live in this area of Arkansas you would have to be living in a cave not to be aware of it, even if your dad weren't a judge.

I know that what I say here will be unpopular. I just listened to Amanda's podcast. I had not wanted to as I am an Elissa fan and so many reported that it was a huge Elissa bash fest.I also , to be honest, was not sure I wanted to find out anything that might change my opinion about Amanda.

I started out as an AManda fan- I loved her irreverence , her humor, her bright spirit. I was appalled by some of the things she said- but I never believed for one moment that she was a racist. The thing that most had me disliking her was her bullying of ELissa when she had won the veto -both because she had won the veto so -huh?- and because it was ghastly.

I decided I needed to listen to her podcast so that I could also hear her side and also because if it was true that it was an Elissa bash fest I wanted to know that for myself.

Well I found it to be nothing of the sort. Yes, they had some anti ELissa stuff- a lot of bias from the interviewers, but it was only a small part of the entire interview. I did not find it offensive in the least and some of it had the ring of truth to it, based on my extensive time watching the feeds.

I loved ELissa but she was not perfect! SHe did have the air of someone who felt she was better than the other, IMO, and a habit of ranting about having been put into the house with "these people". I think we all dreaded it when she drank and Amanda elaborated on that. Don't most of us know people who are not their best selves when they drink? Elissa seemed to be one of those people to me. I also deplored her mocking of Amanda about the one piece suit. I just watched a video clip of her advising Aaryn to blame her racist remarks on Amanda when she got out of the house. There are other incidents that show that ELissa was not a saint and was not perfect , though she shone in a house full of vileness.

<24> I was surprised, actually. I understand, and share, the feeling that many of the apologies have a false ring to them. I share the regret that Andy has only proven himself to be exactly as he was in the house with his lack of regret and self aggrandizing. I get it.

However after listening to the entire podcast I see more of the Amanda I saw at the beginning, and I do believe she is sorry for the things she said. I already came out as a McRanda fan last night and the podcast really deepened that for me- and gave a lot of insight into the house and what went on. She was refreshingly candid and funny- and irreverent and willing to look at her f ups too.

In addition I think the AFterBuzz, conducted by Rachel's friend, had it's own pro Elissa anti Amanda bias but nobody decried that.

Sorry this was so long, and I know many of you will not agree- but this is what is true for me.

I agree btw MaRis it was a sick thing to say- but to say he said he likes to do that is very different from his pretending McRae likes to. Very different! As for all the other vile disgusting things- I abhorred them and disliked him intensely.

True Meggie, but there are consequences to what you say and I don't feel sorry for that guy one little bit. He was a pig, didn't do anything to get ahead in the game but lay about and not even trash talk but make vile comments about people. Cry me a river. I dont feel one bit of pain for what he may suffer.

I've got to agree with Maris re: Spencer. I understand he was "trying" to make a joke. But it was just so inappropriate and wrong on so many levels.

I keep thinking, who makes jokes about having sex with children and pedophilia? In all my life I can't think of even one instance where a friend or acquaintance made a joke about this subject. It's just not something you joke about.

And, if you're joking about it, why?

I finally had the time to listen to the two and half hour podcast with Amanda that people posted.

Overall, I thought it was ok. It was what I expected, and interview of Amanda by Amanda fans. It was interesting to hear her perception of the house, though that's all I took it to be, her perception only. Whether what happened is exactly what went down, who knows. Each HG is going to have their own lens they view it through.

About the podcast itself, I felt it was way too long. There's something to be said about editing, whether it's an interview or long copy in an ad. I think this podcast would have been much better and stronger if they had taken some time to edit it down to a more presentable time frame. I get that they wanted to put it out there and it was a big get, but two and a half hours is rather daunting and there was a lot of repetition.

Additionally, I think they could've edited out the part about Jessie's mother. She wasn't a BB HG and there was no need for that bit to be in the interview. It was nothing more than an opportunity for Amanda to insult Jessie and her mother. I found it rather tacky.

At times, I became frustrated that the interviewers were talking over Amanda as well. An interviewer should ask a question and then get out of the way. Becoming part of the "story" isn't helpful.

Anyway, just my thoughts. It was ok. Didn't really change my overall opinion of Amanda though I doubt she really cares.

No, it wasn't all Elissa bashing in that interview. It also included Amanda saying that Howard was jealous because he wanted to be with her instead of Mcrea. And that GinaMarie was jealous because Amanda's showmance partner was still there and hers wasn't. That Jessie was jealous and wanted Mcrea. Just seems to be full of herself or of something. lol

I'm sure someone already posted this article about Aaryn - but this paragraph stuck out because after reading her snarky tweets and about what she did to Jessie is Vegas - makes me wonder what kind of fool she thinks we are- she says she's "trying" to show she's remorseful- but she's not "being" remorseful ..... And just how, from her "out of the house actions" has she been a better person? Pffffft

"I'm trying to show that I'm remorseful," Gries told the L.A. Times, "and I hope that comes across because I really do feel very bad. If I don't move forward, I will be stuck in this, and it will eat me alive. I can't treat this experience as a negative. I have to take it as a positive because it's made me a better person."

I agree with you, Maris, 100%. What kind of person could even think of such an awful thing, whether he's talking about himself or someone else? This is one topic about which there is nothing, nothing to joke about.

Bev, Amanda's perception of Mccrea being the envy of the females in the house is silly. Mccrae was useless for the most part. Sorta dirty and inarticulate. Not a catch in any world.

Lostfan, don't you remember during week one or two, after Amanda tried to clue Aaryn in, she said to Judd, "I should get credit for acting like I care" Might not be the exact quote but pretty close.

Whiplash, it's been implied that Aaryn made Jessie cry at the Vegas event. And Aaryn later posted that Juddsie is done. One of the BB Canada players suggested that Aaryn is much worse in person than she was on the show.

Early on there was a game of truth of dare and Jessie whispered to Aaryn that she thought McCrae was really hot.

Aaryn used this bit of information against Jessie later and Amanda never let it go.

Remember when Andy gave GM the "gift" of being tied to McCrae for 24 hours, and Gm whispered to Spencer, I think, ick, but he's so dirty? Not only did GM feel jealous about Amanda and McCrae, she didn't want to be anywhere close to McCrae.
