Probably for the best, I don't think he was particularly enjoying it, and I think he was nervous to say anything in case he said something wrong.

I'm having a bit of a problem understanding Courtney's hairstyle. It looks like a ratted mess, with extremely thin strands that remind me of that white stuff you buy for Halloween and stretch it out so it looks like cobwebs.
Is she styling it like that on purpose? Does she have some fake hair?

Oh my goodness Cricket, have you not seen Courtney's hair down? The whole top has exposed weave. It almost looks like her real hair is only a couple of inches long on top because it sprouts out all over her head - either that or she has broken pieces. It's a really bad weave job & not removable, if she piles her hair up on top of her head, it hides all this part. She should get a wig/fall/whatever like Charlotte's. I was shocked that wasn't Charlotte's hair & with it out, she has fairly thin hair with a medium length shag cut.

Wow...thanks, Willwillbee. I've never seen Courtney's hair down I guess. Whomever is telling these girls that the weaves are real hair and look real are lying to them, because Courtney's hair does not look good or real.
I'm surprised about Charlotte's hair as well. It does look more real. Does anyone have real hair anymore? Sheesh!

Almost none of them want to be there, except for Lauren and Dustin.
Nominatins announcement was digraceful, they all begged to be nominated and cheered when their names were read.

Flagg, what makes you think Dustin really wants to be there? He's not campaigning to leave like Courtney & Louie but I don't see him being different than Charlotte, Mario or Carol. At least they seem to be making the best of it. Him winning CBB won't do anything for his career in the states & the Brits don't understand his comedy.
Vickie, Sophie & Bruce seem torn about not wanting to be there but needing it professionally.
Abz made a half hearted speech but I don't see him on screen or on the feeds. Everyone talks about what a great guy he is, I wish we could see something from him. I wish he would have been the one Mario had the long chat with tonight on the feed.
I am surprised that with them being on basic rations that they are allowed so much booze but I guess it would be a miserable 3 weeks viewing without booze. They don't seem to be phased by no good food or hot showers.

They played the nominations to the group again! I'm not sure I agree with them doing that because it stops people saying what they mean, but when they do it the first time it can be funny.
I don't know how sincere they are when they say they're happy they're up, I think at least part of it is to hide their disappointment/anger/whatever. If they are happy then the need better celebs.
Bruce Courtney Louie Lauren Sophie ... my guess is Bruce or Sophie go.
I'm not at all excited by this group. Nobody stands out as someone to care about, and no one stands out as creating interest in the house.

I agree that Dustin does want to be there. He is sooo serious about everything, it makes me laugh.
What was Carol talking about on Tuesday's show when she said something about Dustin and said, "After last night..he deserves this." What did he do? I haven't seen him do anything wrong. Did he and Carol have an argument?
ETA: What's with that blue thing Sophie always has with her? She's either wearing it or has it on top of her. Is it some type of top or a blanket?

Cricket, I was looking through the clips to see if there was a Dustin/Carol conflict - in this clip Dustin nominates Carol for eviction saying she said nasty horrible things about him when he wouldn't eat something in a task but I don't think that's it.

That could be it, Willwillbee. I was looking up Carol and she said in an article that she will continue to drink too much because she doesn't ant to get old, ie., live too long. Does she realize it might just be a bit painful dying from Cirrhosis of the liver?
Sad to see Dustin so down in the youtube video you posted. This seemed to be before eviction night and Carol came back. He probably feels he's in a house with a bunch of unruly children.
Was the task a food task? Carol mentioned they failed it because of Courtney not wearing the outfit and a few others. Courtney did act like a spoiled brat, but if they lost it because of that horrible food, I'd like to see Carol eat it. She's hiding something, just can't figure out what it is. I don't think she likes herself much.

Just watching today's shows, I thought the Carol thing was a joke, then was convinced it was actually happening, just when they said it wasn't! I'd actually have been happy if she'd left. She seems to have a nice side but she just can't seem to stop saying mean things about people.
Glad Sophie went, might be a better dynamic without her.
I don't know if it was a food task, but all their food was taken as part of what they had to do to "save" the people in the little room (Lauren, Carol, Mario).
Which one did you mean was hiding something, Carol or Courtney?

Mario summed Carol (& most heavy drinkers) up, "lovely when sober, funny when tipsy, but a dick when drunk" I agree Cricket, I believe Carol is "self medicating" some kind of hurt. I get the impression she doesn't eat either. I've read too many of her fans shocked about her going on so much about calories & drinking so many calories (which doesn't leave room for food). You never see her eat.
Even Charlotte doesn't want to get drunk every night but feels it's now a part of her persona that is required for CBB & GS.
In the ransom task, they were given boiled chicken feet & sea weed to eat & some refused & some got sick. Dustin was one that refused but he said he did taste/try the food first. Courtney flat out refused to even consider it.
I wish they would have sliding scale contracts. A flat fee (maybe 50% fee) to show up & then a percentage of an amount the closer to final & a bonus for the winner - maybe double fee for the winner. At least give the CBB people an incentive to stay as long as possible - especially for people who are in it just for the fee, like the Americans.
The survivor people get a sliding scale that accelerates tremendously the longer they are there. So that it makes a huge difference staying just one more eviction. I think the last non winner people there get like almost $50k but the first out only gets like $2000.

I like the pay idea, but they have trouble enough getting celebs anyway, I think they have to kind of take whoever they can get.
You're right about the drinking. Watching today's show with Carol alone in the other room (sober) and she's really quite sweet. I bet she's going to start drinking when she's back in the house though.

Very interesting, Willwillbee. I was watching Carol today and thinking she might not be beautiful, but she's got a great body for her age. Since she has a very good looking boy-toy boyfriend, I was thinking perhaps it's better to have a good body than a pretty face, lol.
Interesting to find out it's not necessarily a healthy thin body.

It must be hard for Carol in the entertainment business when youth and beauty is always wanted. It's not as bad in Britain, but still, you must feel your days are numbered when you're 53. I wonder if she is insecure with the younger boyfriend, and his motives for being with her. I just hope her drunken nastiness hasn't affected her career.

Kitt, didn't Carol quit her talk show, Loose Women (was that it?) What career does she have now?
Thank you so much for posting the odds and....that it's a double eviction. That's exciting. I cannot believe Louis is 33/1. I wanted him to go so he'd realize he's not all that. Obviously the HG's know it; why doesn't the public?
I thought they brought Courtney's husband over to England because she was going this week, but it doesn't seem that way.
If Bruce and Dustin go, that's sad. They are both decent HG's.
Oh goody, they are going to let Louis be himself...tasked to have a major meldown. Here goes the scenery chewing, lol.

I thought she was still in Loose Women, Cricket, did she leave? She also has a radio show and a newspaper column.
I think they want to keep Louie because at least he's a big character, even if he does think he's all that.
I'm happy Bruce is going (if he is). He's obviously miserable all the time and his temper might cause problems if something does set him off. I can't really make out Dustin, he seems nice and sensible a lot of the time, but he says weird things and sometimes is also a bit too honest for comfort.
