Arrrrrggggghhhhhh, just watched the part where Phil asked Jonathan if they learned something from ths race, AFTER Ana replied that they fight but they still love each other, and then Phil asked Jonathan the same question, and he replied, "definitely, I built up my tolerance level..." Okay, that could have meant something else, but then they cut to Jonathan, with the camera still on Ana talking about how this race shows how much they love each other, and his eyes rolled upward.

Run, Ana, RUN! Please RUN, harder than you ever did before.

I do hate that THIS is the major message I am taking away from this season, because I overall enjoyed it.

I very much agree with you Juju I just wanted to smack that man. Sad for Ana, very happy that miserable git did not win though.
Carson and Jack played with such joy. The contrast in Jonathan's attitude was palpable.

2 nice couples at the end.
pretty enjoyable. but seriously no one knew howto sail????? even intheory. before I even got on a sail boat Iread the theory. I sailed with friends, Isailed with family, I sailed with strangers, I sailed with my ex (he was the least tolerable). beu even the ones whowere onthe boat got the message the sail was a big part of moving the boat and tillers have a purpose. just one personwhohad anidea of sailing would have made them a winner.

I was very happy seeing Carson & Jack get the win. It’s so nice to see a winning team who clearly cares about each other and enjoys the entire experience including times when things aren’t going well for them.

Sadies, I'm petrified of boats. I can honestly say I've never been on a sailboat in 66 years and have no intention of ever getting on one.

I accept some people are afraid of water, boats, other things. But the final 6 people and no one knows the theory of sailing. 1 person had no idea what the rudder is for!
One claimed there was no wind as people were sailing around them!

Sadie, i live in the so called sailing capital of the world, and i can ensure you thousands in my city have no clue about boating because of socioeconomic structure and cultural fear of the water. Millions of others have no access to boats or real water who grow up inland - boating is not something to take for granted - which is why I push for things like boating safety at schools with kids in public housing - or even at PreK-4 classes.

I lived in Corona del Mar, part of Newport Beach and graduated from Newport Harbor HS .. Mascot.. We were the Sailors,

I learned to swim in girl scouts in Detroit, qualified for canoes at camp, but despite a gazillion sailboats in the harbor and ocean and kids who grew up there in their Sabots and Snowbirds and more advanced boats, and schoolmates whose families had businesses building yachts.. I never sailed.

And lots of people come to the coast with no knowledge.. Some tragic swimming losses. For A JJ swing Race, that could be on a prep list with standard transmissions, some phrases in languages, stamina, dancing.. And moving in water.

Late to this party too and I really need to leave town and miss the finale of TAR as well as my team won this one too! My team never wins!

I was so happy the gamers won. They were such a joy to watch week after week. Such good friends, so much enthusiasm for the race. So happy for them!

It was really tough to watch Johnathon and Ana. Wow, he was such a jerk to her in leg 11 and she just makes excuses for him. He behaved better in ep 12 and i'm wondering if she had some words for him in the hotel room before the final leg about being a gracious loser. That was all so hard to watch. A stain on a great season of my favorite show.

I read a couple of articles and the gamers were more than an hour ahead of the others. The sailing thing was tough. I would say few people know how to sail. We had the opportunity to take a class at a club med and one of the teens in our group did and took us out. It was too complex for my brain. lol. I would have paddled too!

Guessing the producers hit Jonathan hard between episodes.

Just a note on the sailing thing. There was NO wind. Nada, zilch.

The only way the kids were getting their sailboats to move was to throw the sail back and forth, thus creating friction to cause movement.

Even someone who knew a bit about sailing might not know this trick.

IThe competitors said there was no wind. Yet people were sailing around them. There is a lot of dead spots in docking areas always. They had no clue to tricks of getting out.i understand paddlingthere for sure, but using the keel board just slowed them down.

I don't expect anyone to be an expert, but none of 6 athletic people to have a vague notion was weird.

There are minimum things to know if you go. How to drive a stick, lots said they paid for driving lessons before and it paid off. A little swimming ability or at least don't be terrified of water. Learn how to read a map. Learning thank you in a few languages is nice. And how to say faster.

No, Sadies, I believe it was the voiceover (Phil) that said there was no wind, and that the kids knew how to work their sails to get their boats to move anyway. Then it showed the kids moving the sails from one side to the other. That's what I recall.

I encourage people to watch it again.

I just popped in here, I spent Saturday catching up on the episodes I was behind on. Rae and her gf and I were watching together, but it's so hard to get the 3 of us to be able to sit down for any length of time, so I watched without them.

Once Josiah and Alyssa got elimnated at F4 and Jonathon and Ana didn't I turned it off without even watching the finale. That's a first EVER for me. That's how much I loathed Jonathon and Ana, he's a real piece of work.

for the record, after seeing here who the winners are, I'm happy, I just couldn't sit through more of his toxicity.

I think you should watch the Finale! Johnathon was on his best behavior and it's fun to see them lose! And even more fun to see the joy in the other teams.
