Wasn't that sad to see the brothers go. One of them had a great attitude, the other was kind of a chronic complainer. Interesting to see their dynamic. Glad they didn't give up, but in hindsight, had they taken the penalty, they might have been better of. I am happy Carson and Jack got to go on, but hopefully they've learned to stop and ask for directions sooner!

Yep, I did not enjoy seeing the brothers have such a hard time of it. I just don't like U-turns. When strong teams get lost or drive their cars into ditches, they deserve to come in last but not because of a U-turn.

I agree as well. Not a fan either. I find that it usually means that the trailing teams just get beaten down further than they already are and that’s definitely not fun to watch. I will say though that I was happy that Carson and Jack managed to catch up and stay in the race. It was really nice to see their positive attitude even when they got so far behind. With the exception of Jonathan, all the people on this season are positive and nice to watch.

I enjoyed the mother and daughter. Mom did BB well and she was the one driving and when the daughter couldn't read a map.. Mom just kept driving. That said, not a fan of U turns.

This episode had my emotions all over the place. Like Jimmer, with the exception of Jonathan, I really do like all the teams. It is exhausting to watch Jonathan play the victim. If I remember correctly Carson and Jack were the first ones out the airport. I don't think Melinda and Erika realized that Carson and Jack were lost for three hours and that's why they U-turned Nick and Mike. They didn't realize they were in no danger of being Philiminated. I'm also not a fan that the item they were looking for in the hay was red and yellow and blended in with the hay, but at least it was guaranteed to be in one of the three piles.

The task was tedious but doable in a methodical calm thorough way. Unfortunately, Nick and Mike were tired and a bit frustrated and panicked after being u-turned (one of them especially) and threw the hay all over the place. They had little chance of finding it after that.

still not as bad as when those 2 girls spent an entire day searching hayrolls looking for a documnt and has to see evryone pass the. they would have been better off giving up an takingth 4 hour penalty. the clue was not guarenteed to be any rolls and was not in any of the hay they unrolled. Very unlucky. it was dark by the time Phil came for them.

I'll never forget them. They didn't mess up either. Pushing around those huge hay rolls was very physically hard, they just couldn't find the clue and they were exhausted. No giving up. I liked them so much and I felt so bad for them.

Sadies, I think the clue was in one of the hayrolls but they were so exhausted they didn't see it.

Lexie, like with this one! The camera panned to where the bracelet was lying on top of some of the hay, but somehow they didn't see it either.

I was trying to figure out if it was actually on top of the hay or if it was buried and they had just superimposed a circle over it on the screen so viewers could visualize where it was? Either way, in one scene they were so far away from it.

I just meant there was a highlight on it to show it was under there. Imo, it wasnt on top of the hay. I have it taped, I can go re-watch

Thanks, Pamy. My impression was that it was on top of the hay and they just circled it, but we've seen I can be wrong about these things... I did read that at one point they were stopped and received medical attention as they were both bordering on heat stroke.

I got your back Kar So sad about the heat stroke, I feel bad for them. I hate to see teams go out like this, it is almost as bad as going out due to bad taxi

I feel bad for them too, but at least in this situation, it was partly their own doing. They threw it all over the place. If they had methodically looked through the hay, they almost certainly would’ve found it.

I hate the U-turns as well. And the bracelet was not completely on top of the hay, but visible as barely covered. They just didn't work systematically through the hay carefully enough. they struggled a lot in the race, being back of the pack a lot. So I think it's fair they went home now.
