This was pretty much a wasted fast pass. The team was not in danger of being last, and could have selected the small rice weight (well, they did, but sort of wasted that too).

I absolutely hated the Driver's Seat; but I agree that they totally wasted the Express Pass. Didn't the second place team come in only 20 minutes behind them? That rice challenge didn't seem to be that difficult - no one was struggling with it. Jonathan is so obsessed with coming in first that he doesn't realize he only needs to not come in last until the final leg.

Honestly I was so glad they burned their express pass! So dumb of them to do that - to not even try the challenge. You should keep your express pass for when you can't seem to finish a challenge, or you're in danger of being last. They are a panic'd team and it doesn't bode well for them lasting as they are too concerned with first place and not thinking strategically. I hope they get U Turned and go out that way!

They got rid of the express pass and were forced to make choices that just painted a bigger target on them.. Lose lose.

The teams were separated with 4 hours in the beginning. The plane is a great equalizer. The fast pass was wasted because Ana ??? Didn't want to work hard? Or grossly misjudged the work.
I don't think the difference was even 20 minutes. Lori was so angry, she just flew through that work.
