Thought I’d get it started. I’m slowly catching up.

if you come in first there is really no reason to make it super difficult for the ppl behind you but it sounds like the person that gets the power pisses off the rest. My guess is it is the husband that is obsessed with being #1

So surprised that no one could do the ninja. Didn't they test throwing those spikes? The star and the blow dart are fairly easy. We did that when we were in OSaka. Yes, next weeks power almost sounds like a huge uturn, where they get to impact every team!

If they have to put teams in order, almost everyone will be pissed off.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to like Driver's Seat twist. It seemed to me that whatever that thing was they were trying to throw those objects in the ninja task - they wouldn't land or stick. Didn't one team try 31 times before giving up? That was an absolutely terrible task.

Yep, not a single team managed to complete the ninja task. The ones who came closest to it were Alyssa and Josiah (thanks for the banner, Jimmer), and she figured out that it had to be a downward arc to stick the peg or the bolt, or whatever they called it, and they STILL couldn't do it. ALL of the contestants failed on that single element of the task, plus the fact that it had to be perfect with 9 out of 9, zero margin for error. WAY too hard a task, as it turned out. And I got a kick out of (off to check banner) Jonathan, the one some of us had pegged to be "the heavy controlling downer" this season saying he had to do the ninja challenge for his kids even if he failed at it because nobody gives up the chance to be a ninja. That was fairly adorable. (no offense from me if anybody cares to correct me that it was not Jonathan who said this, but I think it was, because I was so surprised).

Yeah that challenge was far too hard. I would’ve thought that the show production would’ve seen that when they tested it out.

Yeah Jimmer, I don't know how that task got past production.
