Kid Sis & I are so excited for TAR to start finally.
Last nite our Direct TV wasn't yet picking up on the programming, but since I pulled it up at CBS, I figured it was safe to set it up.
Oct 14 is exciting day for us! 1) TAR & 2) WA State mails out our all vote-by-mail ballots. Drop off box here we come!

They did continue racing but the last team to arrive got eliminated, the southern bare-handed catfish-catching friends.
I got a lot of laughs out of the final race to meet Phil, where both members of the team had to race while running with a live goat. And some of the smaller women got pulled off their feet. But the female Olympian who had such a terrible time playing the steel drum OUTRAN the goat! Well, both of them may have outrun their goat, but I was watching the one who had such a hard time with the previous task. I bet the goats wish those two would stay and race with them some more. Finally a challenge for the goats!

Well that was truly fun to watch! Some stress and a little drama in a few spots but it was pretty normal considering the competitive nature of it all. I'm so happy this is back on!

OMG... Phil when he said this season was filmed "pre-Covid." That makes it sound like it was filmed late last year or early this year.
It was filmed almost TWO YEARS AGO and sat on the shelf at CBS!
This is why I have trust issues.

I was disappointed that they eliminated a team when there really wasn't a true end of the leg...wish they would have let them run another leg.

Riley & Maddison
Will & James

Leo & Alana
Eswar & Aparna
Kalynn & Haley
Kellie & LaVonne
Gary & DeAngelo
Nathan & Cody
So far I'm not too fond of Eswar & Aparna. I didn't think they came off as likeable this episode, but of course that could change. I also didn't care for the "smart and nerdy" team of Leo & Alana. I don't have any favorites at this time but I liked how Gary & DeAngelo acknowledged that DeAngelo kind of messed them up by overthinking the clue for the steel drum challenge (and I was laughing because at the end the standards for what was acceptable went down considerably!).
Good first episode.

Roxip,me too!! I was surprised that I liked so many teams right away. It usually takes me awhile. I figured it is because we have been subjected to so many unlikeables on BB this season that seeing this group was refreshing
