They're doing another public start- in NYC (specifically Washington Square Park) this Sunday (10/1), so we'll know all the teams then. We do have one team confirmed; Jessica/Cody from this years BB.

It would be fun to go watch the start. I know a lot of people (myself included) aren't particularly eager to see Jessica and Cody again but I am a bit curious to see if they are any different on the race.

Oh... I doubt that Jimmer... LOL

Which is why I don't think they will do very well. You have to get along with other teams to do well in the race and they don't have the DNA in them to get along with anyone. If they don't get eliminated on their own, I would be very surprised if they aren't the first team targeted at a U-turn.

the race starts this Saturday in Washington Square NYC,they are inviting people to come and watch. I am thinking of going.

I really dislike when they have contestants who have been on other reality shows. How small is the "reality-show-gene-pool" that we get the same people? Give someone else a chance! I really love The Amazing Race, but it was so hard for me to watch Brenchel, except when she'd scream and cry and there was the person I greatly disliked and I could laugh at :-) . Plus, Rachel had won Big Brother. She said she wanted to win TAR so they "could afford a baby". You mean, 500K wasn't enough already? LOL

Phil has arrived at the starting line. People holding signs were asked to sign waivers. Lots of BB fans there, pro and anti Jody. One picture of Cody but no Jessica. She may just be to short to be seen in the crowd. Picture is on page three here
