Teach - I am excited to start watching this, but I need to get through with China Rush first as I have to watch at the library and computer time is limited there.

Finally got caught up today on China Rush! I have theater tickets for tonight - got the days mixes up! - and will need my library time tomorrow to catch up on Survivor.

Hopefully Saturday I can start on the Latino race!

I was surprised Kylie wanted the honey Detour considering she was allergic to bee stings. That could have led to a serious medical situation.

She said something about an Epi-pen, but I didn't understand whether she did or did not have one!

I'm not sure either. However, if one is going to travel the world with an allergy like that (and knowing the ramifications, perhaps shortage of hospitals available) it would be pretty stoopid to not carry an Epi-pen.

But still! It was pretty stoooopid to chose that task when she knows she has an allergy. What goes with "Honey?" Yeah, Bees.

My BFF's DH is violently allergic to wasp stings and for many year was a house painter! Believe me, he had an epi-pen UP the ladder with him at all times!

Again Whew! Wonderful challenges and scenery, but HARD AS HECK stuff to do!!! I have a paranoid aversion to slugs just sitting on my sidewalk, but that food challenge just about left me hurling (same as some of the teams). Ol' Simon was happily slurping away. Gosh, it was funny!

Next week is the finale.
I will truly miss this adventure.

The Rockers gained 1/2 an hour on the music challenge. Wonder why the 2nd intersection group did not use a male on the boat?

Vsmart, like I said a week or two ago: "Some teams have left themselves in a corner!"

In several cases, the Guys have done most of the challenges. China Rush is holding them to where each member must perform half of the roadblocks. The women bravely "volunteered" on this episode but now, whatever the challenge, the females are having to do them it appears to me. No matter how strenuous.

In the case of the Rockers at least, the gal said that the last task would be for the guy (Sun Bin) so the same may be true of all the other teams as well. Does the American version no longer hold the teams to equal participation?

Oh yes, they're firm about that. But, I've never seen a race where I believe so many teams didn't start earlier in making sure both players were doing the tasks before boxing themselves in. So that they didn't get stuck at the end, not knowing what they would face and forced to have a weaker player required to do the task.

In China Rush it just seems to me that ALL the tasks are harder than most of the American tasks.

What an excellent finish to a fantastic race!!!

Tough challenges, serious competition. I don't want to give spoilers so I can't wait til you all have the chance to "indulge" yourselves. All three of the remaining teams were certainly worthy of the win.

Sorry I posted it so late, they were really wonky about sending me links so I had to go 'in search of'. Dam it was such a good race.

That final leg was nice and tight, with the three teams close to each other all the way to the finish line (I'm guessing based on the overlap at the final task). I believe each team was in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at some point in the leg, and that was after the bunching point at the start. That doesn't seem to happen that often in "TAR USA" finales.

It's interesting that they drove themselves in the final leg. That also doesn't seem to happen in TAR USA.

France is doing their own version starting on the 22nd...

http://youtu.be/dj1DKT0LCz0

9 teams, 50,000 Euros to the winner- and they're getting a 2nd season for sure (they signed a 2-season deal for economic reasons)...
