Can we talk about the cast? I know that's considered a spoiler, but I don't want to know boot order spoilers or locations, just cast, so I don't want to visit the regular spoiler thread.
One pairing is a bit of a surprise.

I would think anything prior to the start of the show on TV would need to stay in the Spoiler thread. They didn't announce cast on last night's preview so I think that's still a no no in a general thread.

On the radio this morning, a TV critic / journalist said CBS now realizes they have to do something about football screwing up Sunday evening TV programming. Should be much better come next fall when the season starts.

Well, it is about time! I will believe it when I see it.
CBS should have know what it was doing to the TV schedule years ago. I bet if it had been Julie Chen's show being pushed back, football would have taken a back seat.

I don't know what CBS can do. When there is a double-header, TAR is scheduled for a 7:30 start instead of 7:00, even though it sometimes starts closer to 8:00. I really wish they would ditch 60 Minutes altogether.

Football will never take a back seat. The network makes $$$$$$$ millions from football. I wonder if they are considering moving TAR and the show that follows it to another night.

60 Minutes consistently has higher ratings than any other show on Sunday night. There is no way they will cancel it or move it.

I just set my dvr to record for an hour past the normal time and only once has that messed me up. Usually I can be home from church in time to catch any error otherwise. I just figure it is worth it for my favorite show.

As much as I hate 60 Minutes and would love for them to cancel the show, I know they won't so I'll settle for them moving TAR to another night - preferably Tuesday. That's a good night for me.

I'm not a big fan of "all star" shows and I'm especially not a big fan of this cast. Oh I'll watch anyway because I love the show but I don't know who I will be cheering for.

I swear I don't remember Jessica and John. Is he the one that didn't use his Express Pass or whatever (during the surfboard challenge) and they were eliminated?
ETA: I just went to CBS and checked the bios - he is the one that didn't use the Express Pass.
