Actually I love both of the M-M teams so far! I continue to be amazed that there are not more poeple into this TAR!

Click below to view spoiler | I really lost a LOT of respect for Navy guy Henry - like I said before I've had a bellyful of his 'hot chili' wife. That other team of young women were STUCK for over 6hrs waiting for H/T to catch up in order to do the teampairing challenge.
Then, at the end both Henry and his wife were grousing about how the young ladies must have flashed their boobs in order to get the one taxi. The same taxi that had rejected H/T, while I believe Terri was screeching as usual, what driver wants to take on a screaming banshee?
I don't see how H/T could possibly go much further anyway. Henry was doing ALL the roadblocks, because every time you turned around his wife was sitting down and threatening to quit! Wouldn't be too long before she was required to do ALL the remaining tasks in order to fill her reqmts & we can surely guess how that would work out. This was H/T third last place finish, how lucky did they expect to get? |

I had my hopes up all the way through Episode 5 that the "temper" of the group was about to improve, but that was not to be!

That 'hot chili' woman seemed spectacularly UNAWARE. Somehow, I don't think her sitting and watching the show once the race was concluded, would be enough to sink into her consciousness either!

Sorry to be so late, for some reason (even though I'm still "subscribed") they didn't send an email to say it was uploaded so tonight I went searching. Also wanted to watch it first to make sure it was the correct Ep. We had problems with Ep9, and amazingraceglobal had to do some serious searching - we were darn lucky to get that one.

Just sat the final episode! What a nail-biter!!
What is the "face" thing Robilson and Mark do? It must come from something earlier in the show that went right over my head, but it has been in several episodes!

I believe it's something about "disguising" themselves, but I never caught the Why. Remember how at one Pittstop they grabbed up the little green trees to hide themselves?
I just hooted and hollered at that final challenge!!! Wasn't that funny?

I am so pleased to share this experience with you, Biscotti!
I am very sad for all the other TCVHer's who have not ventured into these races of other cultures. Maybe because I live in a such hugely nationally/culturally diverse city, I am priviledged to come into almost daily contact with people whose backgrounds and cultures are far different from mine -
- Yes! The little greem trees one time and the Charlie Chaplin mustaches another time. I wish there were motre than a handful of us watching this! In the American version thread, there would be at least a half dozentheories/answers!

Yes Vsmart, I noticed that. But, one thing about it, they got to know each other on a personal basis. I get the impression on the U.S. TAR that teams are more 'isolated', needing to sleep, do laundry, and there's not such a sense of camaraderie. Like here with ALL the teams giving (quietly) cash for some team that has to give up all their cash, or in a case last season the one team that didn't donate being talked about & prime target for being Yielded.
Maybe it creates more 'alliances' but I just think I find this approach more interesting/pleasant.
I really have enjoyed these Asia races!! To be honest, I've been looking for another Asia race. However, amazingraceglobal loaded up some Singapore Rush, the one from before China Rush. The host, not Allen Wu, was too difficult to understand and I'm just not up to bothering with it. I'm looking for an Asia Season 3.

It used to be a lot easier to find the episodes. I'm not sure what's going on -- maybe they're trying to avoid takedown requests?
Anyway, these seem to be available (not sure for how long):

There are 4-6 parts per episode so I guess they're not as convenient. Also, I don't know if these clips are all good (I watched the episodes elsewhere a long time ago).

Ahh YUM! That Asia Race 3 was every bit as good as the others! While my fav 2 teams didn't win, I was still so happy with the end.
The link that Spear gave us, linked into an "autoplay" feature that just kept loading themselves in the correct order without a stop. So it was like watching the entire episode at one time.
My favorite line in the whole show was where one woman barked at the casino blackjack dealer pph 'make it quick so I can get out of this awful dress!' Bet you can guess who said that.
Also, they gave us (Ep12) the recaps behind the scenes stuff. What a fun & wonderful race. TY Spear!!

Watched Episdoe 5 of Season 3 today! Oh my gravy - just a tribute to the Cowboys! - my fav team just made it under the wire!

Well, I am now through episode 7 and have beeen through two nail-biting finishes with my team coming in last - but two non-elimination legs in a row! They need to pull up their socks and quit scaring me to death!

Yes, I loved that team too. I had to go back to rewatch Ep5 just to see if you and I were rooting for the same team. At the beginning I figured they didn't stand a ghost of a chance. But they showed incredible pluck, teamwork & having fun with the experience, and were a pure joy to watch every step of the race!
