Does anyone know if there will be another non-celebrity mole?

Thanks for the expl re Mark Curry, I knew his name sounded familiar and now I recognize his name from "Mr. Cooper". Didn't know he was on Drew Carey, I never really watched that show but every time I did the boss was some stodgy British guy.

I don't think Bernsen and Baldwin would be contestants again, it wouldn't really be fair to the others since they have been through it once and know the strategy. I'm sure there just there as comic relief, they were an entertaining part of the last one.

I wonder who the other contestants will be. Not too thrilled about seeing Rodman - now there's someone who belongs on "help I'm a celebrity get me out of here" if I ever saw one. Tracey Gold seems like she is going to be a very very bland contestant. She and her anorexia were much too overexposed some time ago, now they are bringing her back again.

I would be much happier if there actually were some semi-current actors there, the three they have listed are all has-beens. At least with the last show they had people like Stephen Baldwin, Michael Boatman, Erik von Detten and Kathy Griffin - people who we at least have heard from in the last five years.

Looks like its official

From ABC.com: Celebrity Mole Yucatan Is Coming!
Eight celebrities traveled to the beautiful Yucatan region of Mexico to compete in Celebrity Mole Yucatan. Newcomers Ananda Lewis, Mark Curry, Angie Everhart, Tracy Gold, Keisha Knight-Pulliam and Dennis Rodman compete against returning celebrities Stephen Baldwin and Corbin Bernsen, who hope to avenge their early executions on Celebrity Mole Hawaii. Emmy Award-winning sportscaster Ahmad Rashad also returns to host the series, which is set to air later this year.

From StoneStanley.com: Eight celebrities traveled to the beautiful Yucatan region of Mexico to uncover one of television’s greatest mysteries…“Who is the Mole?” Mark Curry, Angie Everhart, Tracy Gold, Keisha Knight-Pulliam, Ananda Lewis and Dennis Rodman have joined the cast of “Celebrity Mole Yucatan.” Stephen Baldwin and Corbin Bernsen have returned to the show in hopes of avenging their early departure off of the Hawaiian version of the series. Emmy-Award winning sportscaster Ahmad Rashad has returned to host the series, which is set to air later this year on ABC.

“We learned from ‘Celebrity Mole Hawaii’ that performers play this game very, very well because their acting abilities raise their level of deception,” said Scott A. Stone, executive producer of the series along with David G. Stanley and Clay Newbill.

The cast includes comedian Mark Curry (“Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper”); versatile actors Stephen Baldwin (“Usual Suspects,” “One Good Cop”) and Corbin Bernsen (“L.A. Law,” “Major League”); sitcom stars Tracy Gold (“Growing Pains”) and Keisha Knight Pulliam (“The Cosby Show”); supermodel Angie Everhart; former V-J and talk show host Ananda Lewis; and legendary basketball bad boy Dennis Rodman.

“Celebrity Mole Yucatan” will be a special seven-episode version of the show, as each of the eight celebrities tries to figure out who among them is The Mole. The celebrities will use all their guile to uncover the clues that could lead them to a pot of up to $250,000. They must complete a series of challenging physical and mental games to earn money for the pot, which one player will eventually win (last season comedienne Kathy Griffin took home $233,000). Working undercover against the team, however, is The Mole, a double agent planted by the producers to sabotage the players’ efforts. It is the goal of the players to decide who they think The Mole is, then learn as much about him or her as possible. In the final dramatic episode, The Mole is revealed and the one remaining player wins the jackpot.

Wow, Stephen and Corbin will have a strategic advantage as former players, don't you think?

This Mole could be totally different from the last one. I can't see them letting SB & CB return for a 2nd go if it was just going to be the same kind of stuff. Makes me anxious to know what's in store for us.

Well, you know that neither of them can be the mole..that's too obvious. I am actually picturing them begging the producers to let them back on the show..they were such maniacs!

I enjoyed watching SB & CB the 1st time & look forward to their presence again. Hope SB can stay around a little longer this time - he is just too funny.

Now,why would they let Stephen and Corbin back on the very next series? That's like Survivor letting Dave and Joanna come back for Pearl Islands. IMHO,stoooopid.

Can't wait...love, love, love it -- and the sooner the better.

If they keep SB and CB as comic relief -- terrific...otherwise if they come in as serious contenders, well, it smacks of 'sore losers' and perhaps huge egos IMVHO.

I'm not sure where to put this, but I read at zap2it.com that Andersen Cooper is getting his own hour slot on CNN at 7pm ET.

Baldwin was on the new Tom Green show Tues.night I think and he did say that he will be on the CM2 along with Corbin. Filming has finished but he did not say when it will air and no mention of anyone else involved.

ABC has a few sentences on their website...it will air "later this year". Ahmad Rashad will host again, Baldwin and Corbin will be there with Dennis Rodman, Tracy Gold, Mark Curry, Keisha Knight-Pullium, Angie Everhart, Ananda Lewis. It will be in the Yucatan.

i really prefer the non-celebrity mole. i am sure i will watch, only because it's all they're offering, but i do enjoy the non-celebs mole so much more. sigh....there aren't enough every-day people in the world, who haven't been to bellys, that they can choose from? what's really funny is that two of the guests are returning--even with celebrities, they can't fill the slots with all new people? LOL

celebs have had their time in the funny and the sunny and the money; let's have another go with non-famous players. and ahmad can't hold a candle to anderson.....big sigh.....
