I would like to see Tomiko (amazingly beautiful) and Darren (he of the horrifically abundant chest hair) win. They are by far the nicest people on the show.

I like Darren and Melissa:) She seems really honest and Darren hasn't stepped on anyones toes as far as I can tell.
Mike might be annoying but he's at least keeping the show interesting so in a weird way I wouldn't mind seeing him win.
Tomiko is too quiet and hasn't really added anything to the show.

I don't know if I want Tomiko to win. Like Floridagirl said, she hasn't contributed a whole lot to the show. Maybe it's just the editing, though. After all, Darren was barely shown up until this last episode. I do kind of wonder about Tomiko being so attached to Adrian though - the guy was a jerk.

I like Melissa best, so I'd be happy to see her win. And I guess I'd be okay with Jeanette winning, too. She seems like a decent person. She just doesn't think before she acts sometimes (okay, frequently).

As for the guys - anyone except Anthony! :) Michael has been the biggest manipulator of the bunch, so to the old argument...he's played the game the best (until recently, at least). But Darren is probably my favorite now, and I don't mind Ralph. So any of those three.

I haven't really paid much attention to the credits before (except to know that the winners get $200,000 and a trip around the world), so can someone tell me if they describe *how* the winners are chosen? I'm curious how it all plays out near the end. Do the others come back and vote, or do the finalists compete in something, or what?

Isn't not getting voted off the ship a good indication that you ARE contributing and playing the game? Why is it that the biggest jerks (usually the most visible) are perceived as playing the game better than the "non-jerks". What happened to the merit behind good citizenship awards in school? We teach our kids that you don't have to always be seen to be recognized for excellence and then we-as adults-adopt a different perspective. Whether quiet or loud, the 2 people who did less to hurt others should win. Notice I did not say manipulate...these are two different things.

I agree Kadonaga but unfortunately in these reality based shows the person who can out manipulate usually ends up winning unless they are found out ahead of time - such as the case with Mike. It's a show about winning money - you can't possibly expect to be buddies with people you are up against - it's fake such as the case with Toni - she and Nicole are 2 of a kind. Will had the right attitude about not getting personal and doing what he came on the show to do.

I want Melissa and Darren to win. I also think they would make a good couple IRL. :)

I can't decide if it is the way things are edited or what, but they all seem like they are in some highschool acting class. It just seems fake compared to the other reality shows. I can't relate to anybody. I do find Mike's silk dressing gown very porn like.

I wished Darrin and Tomiko could win or Darrin and Melissa. Just as long as Darrin is in there some where. I think he has showed himself to be a pretty stand up guy, and I like him and hopes he wins.

Kadonaga, in my case I meant that Tomiko didn't contribute much in terms of entertainment value. She seemed to fly under the radar, and I don't know if I like or dislike her TV personality. She doesn't interest me that much. It's hard to root for someone you don't see much of. I'm not saying that's totally fair...in fact, if I were on the show and had gotten to know and like her, there's a good chance I'd vote for her. But from my limited (fan) perspective, I'm not especially hoping Tomiko wins.

And as for the manipulator types - they're usually the most entertaining. And I admire the fact that they treat the game AS a game, and realize that they won't be friends with everyone when they leave anyway. So they might as well play the game as hard as they can, and try to win the money...and usually those types emerge from the game with just as many fellow contestants as friends as those who try to be "nice", actually. Those people realize that manipulation was just part of that person's game plan, and they might admire their cunning, determination, focus, self-control, etc.

Well, I think Tomyko did play the game but was just quieter about it. She figured things out quietly and went about doing what she thought needed to be done. I think she is very intelligent. And as I write this, I guess she is the only one I actually like. Some of the rest are okay but nothing special then there are most of the ones that I just don't care much for at all I think she was "friends" with Adrian because she roomed with him and she got to know him better than the others. He wasn't any more of a jerk than most of the rest of these creatures. Darin, Darin, Darin, one of the reasons he is attracted to Mel is b/c she has a boyfriend and is "unavailable". They are both very emotionally unavailable and may make it together for a while but I don't see any real intimacy unless they both do some major changing. And that is just my opinion. Oh, and I don't really care who wins. I guess since everyone think Jeanette should get it b/c of her being a single mother and all then why not. And since Michael brought her back, well, then him, too.

I caught the last part of the show Monday night, was the first time I had seen it, and, unfortunately, it made me have to watch last night, which means now I have to watch it next week!

I want Darren to win. He is too damn cute! Anthony is evil and Michael is bland. Good riddance to Tony, Jeanette seems sincere and Melissa isn't too bad. Tomyko...I saw here on camera like once. Means to me she is not getting involved enough. But, hey, I haven't watched all the episodes.

Darin and Tomiko, if that's not possible, I want Darin and Melissa to win. Dump the boyfriend Melissa, you and Darin are just too cute together.

First of all, the editing on this show is about as horrible as it gets. Ratings seem to be the producers' ONLY concern. Unfortunately, they haven't leaned how to include pertinent events without compromising the integrity of the show. They seem to be only showing very controversial events and not the "glue" that is attracting couples and keeping them together. How many times do they show's promo feature Toni with bugged out eyes, yelling at a DIFFERENT person each time? Not just that, other contestants seem to be in a different situation each time we see the same commercial. They attract us to the show by reeling us in with FAKE promotions. With this being said, it's no wonder we don't see nearly as much of the "nice" people as we do of those who are backstabbing or yelling. They also seem to be making up the rules as they go. I probably won't be around to see a second helping of this show--if there is one.

Secondly, should reality shows should be viewed as charity? People say they wish different contestants should win because: "He only has one leg" "She is a single parent" "He is playing for his grandma/grandpa" etc... If that were the case, producers could come up with a show where the poorer you are, you win.

Lastly, I stand by the fact that we have double standards--some say they want the "nice" ones to win but contradict themselves by saying that the "nice" ones stay under the radar too much or they did nothing to contribute to the game. I don't think the more horribly you treat others, the more friends you end up having, if this were so, NICOLE(BB2) and JORDAN (BB1) would have a wealth of friends from their show. We can't have it both ways, the ones you see most of on these shows are ruthless and/or terribly weak and easy to manipulate. We don't usually see the antics of anyone except who the producers think will get them more ratings. We can all root for who we want but some of the reasons aren't that logical. As poorly edited as this show is, the producers have us tooning in time after time, which means they're doing something right.

I AM NOW OFF OF MY SOAPBOX/HIGHHORSE ETC...

Well said Kadonaga, only this shows ratings are awful. but every thing you said is so true!! I am so sick of the single parent thing!! what is up with that? geeze! get a job! like everyone else. two parent families have it just as hard, maybe harder than 1 parent families. It is obvious that these single parents have some help because they are able to leave their children for weeks at a time. I hope Melisa and Darin win. I just think they are cute! and I don't think Jeanette should spend anymore time away from her child. You know I raised two kids and was married and worked full time and couldn't go to the movies for the most part let alone a cruise around to world or spend 3 months in a house with a bunch of strangers! ugg! I could go on and on with this. too tired.

Kadonaga and Roe, I applaud you. You just said what I've been wanting to say for months. I raised my kids on my own. Their father never paid child-support,etc.When I had to, I would get a second job.My kids came out fine and I never wanted anybody to feel sorry for me. Get ready to get bashed. You know what happened to Kent on the BB2 board when he said he needed the car just as bad as Autumn. Did Jeanette want anyone"s sympathy vote? I missed the first shows.

Thank you both, I speak from experience. I don't have kids but I know it's hard to raise them alone. My parents divorced when I was 8. My mom worked hard; not looking for handouts. Though my dad wasn't out of the picture, it was not easy for her. My heart goes out to single parents but that status should not influence the turnout of a GAMESHOW. Our government has programs for assisting those who can't get a job because of a lack of skills/training and need assistance with childrearing (The Workforce Investment Act).

Kadonaga, I totally agree about the way they're running the show. I'm not thrilled about all the little twists they keep adding to the game - like did you see the host saying something about "another couple coming back"? Oh please. They're making up rules right until the very end. It's not interesting. Just frustrating and annoying.

I'd like to see some more nicer moments, too. Like I would have liked to have seen how some of the friendships/alliances developed. Instead they're just suddenly revealed to us for shock value.

I'm not sure if Tomiko played the game well...have we really seen her comment on the game and her strategy enough to know? I'm not saying that she isn't intelligent/nice/whatever - I just really know so little about her that I can't say whether she is or not. Obviously laying low worked for her. But I'm not sure whether she did it on purpose, or whether it was just pure luck. Not that it really matters - viewers are entitled to their own opinions about the contestants, and it's not "right" or "wrong" for someone to think someone "deserves" to win while someone does not. Just individual outlook.

Darren gets favorable editing and we see some of his more positive moments, so I like him. :)

And I don't know if you were referring to some of my arguments, Kadonaga, but I wasn't talking about Nicole or Jordan types having friends from the experience. I was referring to Will and Richard types. They played the game, but most of their fellow contestants forgave them when they were able to sit back and see it as such...a game. Nicole and Jordan types made the game more personal by hurting people (intentionally or not) for reasons not related to strategy, or by trying to pretend they weren't playing the game when they really were.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Kadonaga and Roe!!! I am another one who is so tired of hearing about the single parent thing!!

I was a single parent for my sons until they're adult life without any outside help. I worked full time and put myself through college fulltime (when they were older)and am now an RN. So when people on these shows say, "I'm a single parent, I need the money", and other contestants say they should win because they're single parents, I feel as others do. They aren't any worse off than other people and they seem to have someone to care for their kids while they're on these shows.
So again, thanks for voicing what has been on my mind for a while. :)

I like Darrin and Melissa. I think adding the little extra turns helps add some spice to the game. It's no fun when you can predict the winner before the show is over.

I agree that it is not a contest of who is the poorest but I think that it is good strategizing to play on other's sympathies and the single parent thing seems to pull on other player's heart strings. Each have their own sob story to use to try to get an advantage and I don't have a problem with them using it and hell, I am sure it is hard to be a single parent and if they win the money, things would be alot easier for them.
