I loved the dance contest. Adrian and Tameko really rock. Laura wasn't bad either. She had some nice moves too.

Hated that Lisa went to her cabin and it was empty. Sort of sad, but maybe she's better off.

Whatcha think???

I enjoyed it tonight.
I kind of agreed with Adrian about how the ladies copped out.
It made me mad- I wanted Anthony off the boat, he irks me.

Lord help me. I'm only gonna admit this to all of you guys. This show totally rocks!!! I thought it was gonna be really cheesy. And maybe it is but I still like it.
I'm glad Laura got voted off. And if I was Adrian, I would have sent Anthony with her. Tony was a nice piece of eye candy. Hated to see him go. :)

I'll tell you girls one thing... that Tony sure falls in love fast!!! lol I didn't want him to leave either. That Anthony reminds me of an emancipated Christian Slater, but not near as cute.

I wish they would show us the interaction on Loser Island now. Remember, Bob, the shy Michael Bolton guy, he liked Laura in the first episode. But she liked Anthony.

Well, since no one's around, I fugure I'll just post for me own pleasure. I didn't like how the cameras focused so much on only a few people, though I guess they were trying to show the the mostpeople who would probably get kicked off.

I wanted to see more of Ralph--I think I'm officially his first fan. Toni needed to put on more sunscreen and clothing. Tomiko is very pretty. Adrian seems pretty arrogant--didn't care for his behaviour. He should get over himself. He may think that the women were "weak," but them not choosing an evictee made it possible for Andrea to be with Tony instead of needy Anthony. Well, that's all I have to say.

Ok, as for the women being weak for choosing Adrian...I'm not sure what the rules are on the switch, but I'm assuming he gets hang onto it?? (or is it only good for that one eviction?) Assuming he gets to use that switch at any time then you might as well make him waste it ASAP, that way you can hopefully have the opportunity to evict him next time. Either way, I think they wanted to make a point..and besides, the vote came down to Laura and I think she was trying to be loyal to Anthony (although she shouldn't have been)...I'm mean for Adrian to give that whole speech about woman not being able to make decision was not only stupid, but he just threw himself off the boat with it.

I really like Adrian, but I wish he would have kept his mouth shut. He will not have the switch next time, I bet, unless he wins it again.

I would like to see more of Loser Island now too. I want to see what happens with Tony and Laura, two of the more interesting people as far as I am concerned.

I really feel sorry for Lisa. My husband thinks she's gorgeous and he says he would have liked her. What's wrong with those guys?

I think Adrian is gone anyway- he was their first choice for eviction and would have been gone if he didn't have the switch. I just really, really wanted Anthony voted off and that is what they were gonna do - then they chickened out! Argh. I guess ANthony is miserable anyway because now Laura and Tony are together.

I am a little confused about the Switch card - here is waht it says in the rules on official Site:
The switch card affords a player the power to change the vote of the group during the Elimination Ceremony. For example, you can prevent yourself from being voted out, or "switch" the gender vote to save a buddy or partner. Or, the holder of the switch card can simply go with the majority and not change anything.
___
I am assuming it is good only ONCE. I got the impression from the show that it also has something to do with replacing current players with those on loser island...anyone know how that works?

I think it was just a good strategy to vote for Adrian. But they would have voted for him anyway. What a jerk.

I can't stand Anthony. He just wanted to stick it to Laura because she embarrassed him. Hope he gets voted off next.

I'm not sure of all the 'switch' rules either.

Rachel, actually I dislike Anthony more that Adrian. Adrian doesn't seem that bad to me, but then again we only get to see a portion of what they say. But when he got up there an acted that way I could see what the girls were talking about. It's going to be a tough call next time on whether he or Anthony will get the boot. But maybe even Greg (?), since it seems like he trys to mess with Toni.

I think Lisa's gorgeous too, and liked how she was the first to notice how off-center Anthony is.

Yeah, I had forgotten how Lisa nominated Anthony right off the bat. She is pretty smart and not as desperate as I would have thought, since Anthony might have gotten interested in her.

Greg was bad-mouthing Andrea last night, wasn't he? And then talking about Toni on the previews. He seems like a jerk if you read about him on the Fox website. Did you see his idea of a dream date?

I was surprised to see it was Laura the guys chose. I also didn't agree with the girls picking Adrian to make the decision for them. THey should have picked one guy, and then Adrian could have used the switch card to keep Laura in and send someone else out. I think it was good Adrian sent Tony with Laura but I thought Tony was the hottest guy there, so it's too bad he's gone! :(

Why would he waste his switch card to save Laura, instead of holding onto it for saving himself? Adrian isn't that nice.

I haven't read their profiles, but now you got me curious, I'll have to go check that out.

I thought Adrian was a decent person until he gave his little speach about the women being unable to make the decision. Because they nominated him, he was forced to use the switch card to save his own behind. In the process we got to see a little bit of his controlling behavior.

I think this show is a riot, can't wait to see the next show. And I can't believe that anyone would put themselves through what those people are going through.

And my last thought, how come there are no reality shows where the people sit on couches, eat junk food and wear sweats. And plastic surgery is something we do with a hot glue gun.

I don't think the switch card can be 'saved' or used to change the evictee of someone from the opposite sex.
If Adrian had NOT been voted off then he could have used the switch card to change who the gals DID vote off. Or he could do nothing at all. That's why I was a little peaved because if they had of voted Anthony off I don't think Adrian would have changed it. And we lost Tony:(

I thought they said the switch card could be used to change either evictee, because remember Adrian said he'd save "his girl" if she was evicted? I don't think he could save it to the next round though. It'll be interesting if it can be used to bring someone back from Loser Island.

I didn't mind Laura, and I really liked Tony. It was nice of Adrian to send him with her. The girls should have voted to evict Anthony (who, imho is a loser before he even loses) then Adrian could have swapped Laura for someone else, possibly that girl who he seemed to have a problem with.

OK--I have so much to say about the show. First of all, how in the world can Tony have fallen for Laura sooooo fast? I guess the editors left some stuff out from the show because it seemed weird how one minute he was having fun with the whole gang, and the next is is crying because he has fallen for Laura only after 4 hours. Give me a break.
AS for Anthony, I think he has every right in the world to be mad at Laura. He asked her point blank when they were alone what she wanted, and I felt she made it clear the she did still want to hang out with him. It was only after he said he didn't want a girlfriend that she finally agreed. She should have been honest with him from the start. Instead she did lead him on.
I wish they would show more of the other guests.

OOps, I mean Laura, not Andrea, way up above in my other post. Too many "A" names!

Good Point Kitt- I remember Adrian saying that too.
That would make sense. I am still peeved that the girls let Adrain make their choice for them!
Anthony is a downer and Tony was fun - and he falls in love every 2 hours...oh well:(

Surely the girls will come to their senses and vote Anthony off next instead of Adrian. Maybe they will keep Adrian because Tomika likes him so much.

i think anthony was a jerk - he badmouthed laura and made her into a 'manipulator' when she told him that she wanted to switch bunkmates and 'paruz' when he say them together for the whole trip - he was hearbroken and became evil

Well.. it definatly was interesting to say the lest. I actually watched the whole thing w/ a friend on the phone who kept insisting it was cheesy but for some reason never turned the channel go figure that one ..

anyway ... I think i was in the boat with everyone else when laura was the one to go. Anthony is so phony i could vomit watching him play the wounded jilted lover. How he feels justified in his feelings after telling her he has no room in his life for a woman then pull that switcho-roo on her is beyond me.

I wish they would spread out the camera time a little better.

Im still on the fence about how i feel about Adrian. I guess if they ever let us see Jeanette maybe we can figure out what her deal is with him really.
oh well bring on episode 3:)

Normally, Adrian's little speech would have made me angry or not like him but it being in the context it was, I can see where he is coming from. From what they have shown, he really is not that bad of a person or a jerk but no one has taken a liking to him and he did seem hurt about it. Plus, why they only have one black guy on these shows is beyond me. Why not have at LEAST two black guys and two black girls on each show. Being in the minority that way is enough to make you feel different. I am white - have black friends and think nothing of being with them but once I went to a Christmas party and I was the only white person there out of about 40 people and believe me, when I walked in all eyes turned to me and I felt out of place even though I knew alot of people there. I just don't think it is good group dynamics the way they are doing the reality shows and it bugs me!

I wish Anthony would have been the one to go, too, although I did find Tony a puzzle. He falls in love at the drop of a hat but hasn't had sex in five years. Don't think I believe that.

About the switch, I equate that with the immunity necklace on Survivor but with a twist and I think it is only good for one show and each show will be a competition to get one. That is just a guess.

Does Adrian remind ya'll of that guy from Miami Vice that played opposite Don Johnson? For the life of me, I can't remember his name. :)

I was smart of the women to vote for Adrian. He's used up his switch card and now they can vote him out the next time. They also potentially caused a rift between him and they other men because of who he voted off but he was smart to vote off Tony. And they didn't make any of the men mad at them except Adrian. I don't even understand his sexist criticism. And what was that crap about telling them to shut up he didn't even want to hear it?

Anthony is a dog for turning on Laura. He is just hurt and embarrassed.
