Don't read any further is you haven't seen the show yet.

I was glad to see Darin and Melissa win but I felt sorry for Michael and Janet not getting any votes.

Did anyone notice how pissed Toni was about Melissa winning?

I thought that throwing the third couple in at the end just sucked. It made the voting so predictable. I taped tonights show and I can't wait to watch it without commercials. I bet there was only 20 min. of new show and the rest of the hour was recap and commercials.

Toni sure was pissed when Melissa won. I am sure Toni was not too happy when Greg voted for Darren & Melissa.
I agree that bringing a third couple in a the last minute was unfair.....I am just glad that it was not Anthony.......he is such a (censored).
Darren is such a sweetheart....I hope Melissa will open her heart for him.
I understand where Melissa is coming from now..after her talk with Jeanette about her father dying and having no family....she is so afraid of loving someone and getting hurt.

I hope they have a wonderful trip!!!

"We want Jeanette to win! We don't care if we win, only if she does, 'cause she really needs it!"

Oh brother! I was glad to see Darren & Melissa win and even more glad that I don't have to see Andrea and Toni ever again!

I agree - throwing the third couple in at the last minute was totally unfair. For one thing, they were picking from people who had gotten to know most of the people voting better than the final four did, since they all hung out in Aruba together. Also - they were chosen by a popularity contest (the vote). So obviously they're going to get a number of votes in the finals. I thought it was pretty unfair to the final four.

Anyway, I really thought Gina (Who? She was voted off the first episode, for pete's sake!) and Adrian might win for a minute. But then they started showing Gina being overconfident, so I realized it probably wouldn't happen. But it came really close! If it wasn't for the fact that everyone seemed to like Darin SO much (including me, btw ), it would have gone to Adrian/Gina. That would have been a pretty rotten ending, especially since people like Anthony, Andrea, Lisa, and Toni were rooting for them. That's enough of a reason to dislike them right there.

I felt kind of bad for Jeanette and Michael. I thought it was really great of Jeanette to keep Michael in, although I don't think she would have won regardless since Toni was so upset at her. I would have been happy to see either Jeanette/Michael or Melissa/Darin win, though, so I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Other random comments...Melissa seemed ready to throw away her chances of winning. She really shouldn't have let Anthony push her buttons like that. Btw - I think Anthony annoys me more than any other reality show contestant ever has. That includes Team Guido on TAR, and Nicole from BB2, so that's saying a lot. Toni rated pretty high up there in my list of annoying personalities, too.

I'm glad to hear that Melissa, Darin, Michael, Jeanette, Bob, and some of the others are still friends. Nice to see that real friendships developed in spite of all the pettiness and arguing.

I was happy to see Greg vote for Darin and Melissa despite Toni's animosity towards Melissa...from some comments he's made on another message board, I think Toni might have ended her relationship (if you can call it that) with Greg because of that.

And Tony - um, bad hair. Also, he got all teary-eyed again with his vote. Half of me was thinking, "Aw...that's so sweet", while the other half was thinking, "What is wrong with this guy???". :) Btw - I know he walked out at one point during the final hot seat. But I don't remember when he did it - was it when Melissa was getting so upset with Anthony?

I was glad to see Darin win but I'm not so sure that I wanted Melissa by his side. I have no real reason except that I don't really trust her as far as being honest with Darin. I feel, somehow, she's leading him on. (I know Darin's a big boy)

Did anyone else pay attention to her talk with Jeannette other than the part of having no family? She kept saying how her boyfriend is the only family she has and she doesn't want to be alone. Wow, he must be sitting at home feeling so good knowing his girlfriend is with him because she has no one else ("family", in her words). Wouldn't that make you feel good to know that your loved one is only with you because they don't want to be alone? I never once heard her say that she's in love with him...did anyone else? Maybe I missed it.

Please don't think I'm bashing her in any way...just giving my point of view. Out of everyone there in the finals...they were my choice to win.

Did anyone else hear that this show was taped a year ago? Just wondering if its true.

I agree with you Muse. Anthony is the most annoying reality guest. He is worse than Jerri, Jordan, Nicole, and Lisa...He sure likes to stir up the trouble. On several occasions he was seen in the background enjoying the fight he just created by saying something he knew would push someones buttons. I hope his 15 minutes are up.

Cinapoo..in another post someone said that Lisa did a radio interview and said the show happened a year ago.

I, for one, am pleased with the outcome. I would have been fine with Jeanette and Michael winning, but I think that Darin and Melissa really bonded and I didn't feel that she was using him. I think she generally likes(ed?) him, but was in a difficult position with the b-friend. I thought she was a pretty genuine person. And Darin is just a sweeetheart!!! I'd like to know where they stand now...anyone got any dirt on them now?

Oh, and I loved how they showed Toni telling Jeanette that she was still voting for her, then cut to her interview saying there is no way Jeantte is winning...I know it was all editing, but it was kinda funny. They did that cross editing with her alot to show her contradictions...I could give her the benefit of the doubt and say the editing made it look worse than it was....but I don't want to! LOL!!! I think she's full of s**t! Good riddens to Toni...I gave her a chance and liked her at first but I think she finally showed her true colors...

And as for Anthony..it's all been said, the worse human I've ever had to watch on Reality Show! Did you notice the manic look he had when he said 'hey, I just lost $100,000 hahahaaa'....OMG, please say we never have to see his face again! Kinda glad the show is over, I was starting to wonder why I was watching it, yet couldn't stop..now I can move on with my life....I heard Smallville was good..hmmmm......

Whew.... Darin & Melissa woohoo, they totally deserved to win. Throwing the third couple in was bizarre to me. Someone who was booted in the first show could have walked away winning. Nope, not a good thing, very unfair indeed. And to Anthony & Toni, ridiculous! is the first thing that pops into my head. I realize they look for these kind of people on purpose to send in to stir the sh*t, but man, do they have to be so evil. They made me sick. I was thrilled to see their sorry faces when Melissa & Darin won. It made their winning even sweeter

Now that Melissa won, I wonder what will happen with her and her boyfriend. Doesn't she get to go on the trip around the world with her winning partner. Don't you think that something will click with them. I stopped watching at episode 2 but relied on all you guys for the updates. The only think I remember about Melissa is when she was talking about her boyfriend. Huh?? What is she doing on a show like this then. I am happy that she won, because she seems the only one that all you weren't ragging about.
Thanks for all your postings.

I too am glad that Darin and Melissa won. While I have nothing against Gina and Adrian, like the sensational Laura said, Gina wasn't really in the game since Day One. It was really strange to add a third couple who presumably would have been the default choice of the sore losers. It almost happened!

I felt sorry for Jeanette - there truly was nothing she could do. All of these people were telling her to dump Michael if she wanted to win, but he was the one who brought her back. I'm glad she stuck with her convictions, but I thought it was very unfair of Toni and her entourage to put her in that position. I'm not so sure Jeanette would have won anyway after her confrontation with Toni. I did not feel sorry for Michael - he made his own bed and deserved everything he got.

Other thoughts:

Laura seemed really ticked off at Gina for not talking to anyone on Loser Island. Huh? Why waste a question with something like that. Oh, and did I mention that Laura was smokin?

When did such animosity develop between Michael and Ralph? I thought the two of them were best friends on the boat, but Michael didn't even consider bringing Ralph back.

Is not Bob / Kenny G one of the ugliest individuals to appear on TV? All of the women, especially Laura and Tomiko, looked especially fetching, except for Lisa, who still strikes me a a little librarianish.

Anthony... what an a$$.

I was glad to see Darin and Melissa win too, I didn't watch this from day one so don't know who Gina is, but I do know I liked Melissa and Darin sooooo much better than Toni. and I felt it Was unfair that they didn't give Mike and Jeanette at least one vote. I mean at least who ever was part of the Chicago group, and the poor poor Jeanette single mom group. but anyway my favorites one, and I overslept so I was wondering if they were on Regis this morning. anyone know?

I think the animosity between Ralph and Michael grew when everyone started treating Michael like an outsider. Ralph realized that Michael was no longer a suitable person to have an alliance with, and he just stuck with Toni. Unlike Melissa, he didn't seem to try to talk to Michael, or give him any credit for not fully revealing the details of the Chicago Four. I'm also guessing that Ralph was pretty peeved when Michael (along with Darin) voted Toni off.

Michael said in an episode summary he wrote that he watched the episode where Ralph got voted off with some of his fellow contestants (including Ralph) last week. He said it was rather funny to see Ralph FINALLY realize, more that a year after it happened, that it was really his alliance with Toni that did him in.
