Too many commercials!
The ClubHouse: Love Cruise: Too many commercials!
Oregonfire | Monday, October 08, 2001 - 09:27 pm Does anyone else think that Fox is showing way too many commercials during this show? You can't tell me that they didn't have enough footage. Anyway, it's an interesting show, but only mildly so, especially compared to the total-immersion experience of BB2. |
Misslibra | Monday, October 08, 2001 - 10:14 pm Well I always think there are to many commercials in all TV programing except for HBO etc. But as they say... what are you going to do? They have to pay bills. Now back to tonight's show what did you think about Michael getting his just desserts? And did you see him get rid of Andrian,(sp) he dropped her like a bad habit. I could tell she was pissed. And Ralph seems to be looking in the other directions while his boy Mike dig his own grave. I thought it was hilarious when Anthony got busted listening to Jennette and Mike scheme. Oh, and how about Anthony confronting Mike, that was good. A lot of juicy stuff went on in the one hour. Can't wait to see the next show, I wonder will Toni get kicked off next, I see her and Jennette mix it up tomorrow. |
Voyeur | Monday, October 08, 2001 - 10:31 pm I thought it was funny how Michael got roasted and his three co-conspirators were helping to do the roasting! |
Tksoard | Monday, October 08, 2001 - 10:58 pm What I don't understand is what kind of fun could they possible be having if the are manipulating and coniving and so worried about who said what? Why don't they just sit back, and enjoy the ride. If you get voted off, go to Aruba with other people that had fun, and just enjoy the vacation and the beauty. I know it's a game, but only 2 people can win the big prize. Just have fun!! |
Muse | Tuesday, October 09, 2001 - 12:37 am Yep, I agree. It's a mildly entertaining show. If I miss an episode I don't care, but make something of an attempt to watch it. I was surprised to see the episode end with no one being voted off this time. I know they had some extra footage because of Jeannette being called back, but seems like they could have edited it to include the next vote. Skip the lame "Balls of Shame" or something. (Btw - anyone else smile everytime they yell that out? It's so ridiculous ) Anthony looked like an idiot in this episode, as usual. He annoyed me more than usual this time - I think because he sounds SO self-righteous. I agree that Michael has been pretty sneaky, but Anthony's worse. It was kind of funny to see him, of all people, lecturing Michael on hurting people. But I liked Melissa realizing that Michael isn't the only one playing the game. I think everyone except Darren and/or Tomiko have been trying to manipulate the game. Hee...the Jeannette-should-win stuff reminded me of Krista in the earlier days of BB2. No one really means it. I'm sure most of them would be happy for her if she did end up winning, but you can bet that at this point they hope she doesn't. They're in it for themselves. Nice to finally see Darren! And why did we see so much of Lisa on "Loser Island"? I was hoping to see what happened with Laura and Crazy Tony, or if Greg had figured out what happened with Lisa/Toni. |
Misslibra | Tuesday, October 09, 2001 - 01:31 am Muse, when some of them started saying that they wanted Jennette to win because she is a single parent with a child, I was like here we go again. I wish people would tell the truth, and say I want to win, I want the money. I thought that is why they entered the game, instead of trying to be someone else savior. If you want to be someones savior in real life that is great, but don't come on a game show with this same tired line, when you know deep down you want the moolah for yourself. And when Michael was doing his scheming with the Chicago four, I don't remember him saying anything about taking Jennette with them. But now for him it's all about Jennette winning. What a bunch of hooey spew, better known as BS! |
