okay I totally missed the Chantal update? lol I liked her in her cycle. where was I? I just thought the designer had an odd little look about him, like he sucked a lemon-whether or not he was right about Sam. okay did we really need to know and see Tyra and her friend taking pics on her vacation?

Well, it was just a matter of time for Isis to go... whatch for tonight's short coverage on Isis, either on the Insider or Entertainment Tonight. They will try to make a point how this transgender couldn't last... For Hannah's elimination I say... good for Jay and the judges for saying ...if you can't walk you might as well pack up and go... I mean, I never saw a funnier walk than that! I agree with those saying the guest judge was too harsh on Samantha, although Tyra did give some good points to the girl on how and why to avoid that, but I wonder why don't they explain to the girls before the challenge and not having to learn afterwards with harsh words from the judges. What was that about.. I mean Tyra or someone else blaming a girl during the photoshoot because she was "flirting" with Nigel?? He must have a collection of models... flirting with him, or is the other way around??? Anyway, I don't think there is anything wrong if Nigel and a model are attracted to each other... good for them. I feel sorry for Marjorie, with that awful hair color she lost that small edge she had before, her dark eyes no longer such a great contrast with her blond short hair... Same thing for Clark, she just became more ordinary with dark hair, she is definitely better with a lighter color... For Elina, why didn't Nigel explain to her, as Tyra suggested afterwards, that it was better to lower her head straight down instead of bending it to the water, I think her eyes would have been better shown... Now, the scary challenge next show is coming too soon... it's not yet Halloween...

I hope Tyra and her other producers are taking note that people are getting "TYRED" of her. At least in the last show we were subjected to as much of her as usual.

I'm not sure Tyra would ever think anyone could EVER be "tyred" of her!

How come when in the last shot Jay said to one model remember you are still trying to sell the clothes. But the one with the tidel wave you could not even see the clothes.

I couldn't even find it last night. I'm a bit disappointed with the way this show has gone. I used to enjoy it a lot more. I'm still watching though, when I get the chance.

I think the panel picked on McKey b/c she got the extra frames and Jay said she did so good...and that even though Joslyn didn't do the best, I am SURE there must have been a better shot than the one they chose. Same with Lauren Brie-she's been doing okay with her pics and they want to knock them down a few pegs. While I never thought Clark had "it" I think they nitpicked her so she could go..I mean I was glad she left but as usual what the judges want from one girl is not good for another. One last thing- what these girls wear to the panel????? At least 3 or 4 of them had outfits that didn't look model like...ick!

Geez, it's no wonder these girls get confused. It seems like one week they tell them to do one thing, and then when they try to do that, the judges want something else. I just don't think any of these girls have an over-abundance of potential for the high-fashion kind of modelling. Some of them could probably do catalog. I guess I'm just getting tired of watching a show where I know the winner probably isn't really going anywhere. At least the contestants on "Make Me a Supermodel" had some real potential.

The clothes, hairstyles and make-up for the photo shoot were hideously unattractive, and coupled with the concept of having them spraddle out across buildings, made it all worse. Whose crappy idea was that? And I hope Clark colours her hair back to blonde. Poor thing, she was pretty and confident before they got ahold of her.

Well, most of them may not go anywhere but I'm surprised how well some of them are doing, even those who didn't win. At every show, just before a commercial there is a brief clip narrated by Nigel (I think) explaining what a previous season contestant has been doing so far, and some of them are right among top models on runways and fashion magazines. Well, we know how Eva is doing soap opera, that will accumulate a small fortune for her. Clark and Marjorie were the two girls who got the wrong makeover, although Clark got a bit of success with the last photoshoot, it was clear that it was just a matter of time. Marjorie is still there because she's creating the drama, they like to see tears and frustration. Since they changed the color of her hair she lost her initial confidence and she keeps on losing more and more, they'll keep her around a bit longer and then zac, she too is gone. I find that they are running out of ideas for photoshoots, previous shows were more engaging and pleasing to the eye, maybe when they go on location (usually an exotic one) we'll see more striking scenarios, but the one last night was really too cartoonish and the fashion they were supposed to still be able to advertise while posing for the theme wasn't even that attractive. The show may be losing some of its creativity but it has been around for 8 years already and it's understandable. Like BB and Survivor, this too is becoming too much like a deja vu.

So what is wrong with reusing some oldies but goodeies. It would be better than some of these latest stunts that just don't work. But the maybe they are trying to show that a good model can make any situation look good.

You know, I really liked Joslyn. She had a great personality and loved to laugh. I think she is another girl who was ground down until she lost her confidence. And Marjorie will be next.

Okay, a brief recap from another site. The girls have to find their signature pose with Tyra coaching. Marjorie wins with a hunchback pose. The photo challenge is that the girls have to act out an embarrasing moment at a high profile event. Marjorie is filming in the bathroom, as a model who has to pee but can't get out of her dress. Elina is the overemotional actress who can't stop crying, except she can't cry at all! Marjorie is called first. Then Analeigh, Sam, Elina.... Sheena is in the bottom with LB. Now, guess who's going home? Sheena, right? No, they picked the person with the best photo shoots up to that point... LB! I think McKey and Marjorie will be in the final 2 in the end. I sort of think that Marjorie will win it all only because any other person with her insecurities would have been cut by now, but she is still here.

Kooklie-I like Marjorie and McKey for going all the way-maybe Elina too. I think that McKey may do better when they have to do that Cover Girl commercial read over Marjorie. I think Marjorie looks gorgeous when she is made up for the photo shoots. I think they could find a better shot for Elina as well. It's so predictable, I knew LB was leaving this week and I still can't believe that Sheena got to stay over her!! I like Joslyn too but I don't think she'll go all the way.

I'm surprised 'Simone look alike' was sent home, I think they misused her looks entirely... with her "soap and water" fresh look, she looks more beautiful with no make up at all, her eyes get larger and expression more interesting. With all that make up her true beauty is hidden. So, she was a bit flat on personality but she could have lasted a bit longer... And I'm surprised they made a star of Marjorie (but all for the wrong reasons), sure she can look interesting in some shoots but to me she lost her edge with the hair color change. And I was totally surprised at how good looking everyone seemed in those photos, maybe the photographer gets credit, but the models sure looked awesome (even if Elina can't cry on demand). So, all these surprises mean it's not too bad... and I look forward to the next show...
