Yes, Kooklie, but it's like "the lady doth protest too much, methinks", ya know? I honestly can't recall any of the winners in ANYTHING I've seen, although I know they've appeared in commercials or soap operas (Eva?) I truly thought I was quitting ANTM for good this time, and then they promoted Isis in their adverts. I got sucked in. I wonder if the downfall of this show is why Tyra has started Stylista.

Costa, Lake, Jodie - sounds like you need a 'Top Model' hiatus! I hit my limit a few seasons ago and gave the show a rest....actually not minding this season so much (tho I hold no illusions about what this show is and is not). This set of girls, to me, has taken some more interesting photos than in seasons past

Well color me surprised. Tyra is doing A Good Thing. (I hope it's not just for ratings... I just really don't trust her motives. But... YAY Isis! Reassignment surgery is expensive!!

Haha, I'm not surprised at all. The question I would ask is this: if nobody could ever know that Tyra helped Isis, and Tyra would never get credit for this deed, would she still have done it? I love how Joel McHale makes fun of her on The Soup. It seems like EVERY week there's a tv clip of her on her talk show where she is SOMEHOW turning the subject and attention back on herself. I remember the thing that really disgusted me the most was when the did the "homeless" shoot on ANTM (and where Isis first appeared as a model in the backround). Tyra said on panel that because she experienced living on the street for a day on one of her talk show episodes, she knew what it was like to be homeless. That just disgusted me, it really did. She sat on a sidewalk in not-so-cold weather in raggedy clothes, and panhandled with other homeless people. But what they didn't show was when she got to go home afterwards and take a hot bath with likely very expensive bath products. She hadn't experienced not eating very well for weeks and truly not knowing where her next meal was coming from. Yes, I must say, it was then that I really started disliking Tyra Banks. Before I thought she was just <66> trying too hard to impress the younger girls. <66> But yes, Yay, for Isis. I am so glad that she's finally able to get the surgery.

I am sure I have seen McKey in a Kohl's commercial. If it was her, she looked really good.

I am not so sure I say Yeah for Isis... Granted I do not know much about her but from all I have seen she is very emotionally insecure and have other issues related to her gender. From what I understand you really need to be 100% emotionally ready for this type of change. I'm just sayin..

People who choose to undergo sexual reassignment surgery go through a lot of counseling beforehand. It's not something, like breast implants, that's done lightly. I also think part of Isis' insecurities come from being a woman but still have male sexual components. Once she has her sexual reassignment and becomes totally a woman, I think a lot of her insecurities will fade. Unless you know any transgendered men or women, it can be very hard to understand.

I believe they have to undergo a lot of counseling like Costa said, and they also have to have been living as a woman (or man) for at least a year, isn't that true? And who knows how long it will be before Isis actually undergoes the surgery. All we know right now is it's being paid for.

Ugh is right. I can only think of the Joker from Batman when she smiles. Ugh again.

Can I add my ugh? No, make that a double ugh! My least favorite all the way through the season. This entire season was a big yawn for me. I think for all the reasons I cited previously. It's not even ANTM overload or Tyra overload. It's just... really? Again? And you really think you'll get a top model out of here? Really?

I agree totally Costa. They should change the name to "America's Next Model and Guest on the Tyra Banks Show." Did anybody see The Soup when they showed a clip of Tyra saying that for Miley Cyrus' birthday Tyra gave Miley something very special: a picture of herself at that age! I immediately got out my planner and crossed Tyra's name off the guest list for all my future birthday parties.

For me, it was something about her eyes that is weird. Without much makeup, they are fine. But, when she gets the makeup on they are almost like slits. The panel said she has to watch having her eyes too wide open when being photographed, but I think she has to do that otherwise the eyes would be lost.

OMG, Nerovh that is too much! Just what Miley really needs, yeah right. I also agree about Tyra's hair, not liking it. I think McKey has a joker smile too but I didn't want Sam to win either. Sam looked like she was going to throw up at the runway.

Well I'm very happy. I picked McKey in the very beginning. I was surprised Analeigh wasn't in the F2 though. McKey has a great walk and gives great face and can pose.

Nerovh Haha, I've been loving The Soup and McHale making fun of Tyra. That was just insane - giving someone a picture of yourself for their birthday? It screams narcissist. She is just so self-centred, honestly. Add my ugh, too. I didn't like Samantha at all this season, but I still think she should have won over McKey. She took amazing pictures and had a far better walk. McKey is actually kind of ugly in person, and I've never found her interesting at all. She was a huge bore.

Nobody commented on what Tyra was wearing at the end? She looked like the evil queen from Snow White! The outfit and hair-doo made her look way older. Whoever choose that outfit and hair should be fired. I wanted Sam to win just because I liked her personality more than McKey but honestly I think McKey looked more 'high fashion'. That said, none of these girls seem to go into 'high fashion' so I think Sam should have won. lol Also they showed last years winner, damn, I forgot her name already! lol When she was reading the lipgloss thing I think she did terrible. Also she seemed to lead the fashion show but that outfit was very unflattering in my opinion. Also what was with that catwalk? How ridiculous they had to 'run' up a ramp in heals! They were just asking for someone to trip and fall.

I always thought the Thailand catwalk was the most unique. Yeah, I thought the pink catwalk with ramps and stairs was ridiculous. It's like Mr. J is running out of ideas. They should just do a classic catwalk, but with different themes.
