So the first Celebrity BB in the U.S. is coming as announced by Julie on last night's BB show. Could be interesting.

As long as they do not count former house guests or anyone that has been on a reality show as a Celebrity. I really want a good Big Brother like we use to see. Thanks for starting this section for us.

I hope they reference Merriam Webster for the definition of "celebrity"

Hmmm... I guess this is the reason why they aren't doing a second bbott this year. BB told us the reason was because it took up to much time and left everyone who works on the show to exhausted. I just hope having celebrities will mean that there won't be showmances. Btw, I wonder how long the season will be. I can't imagine them giving up 3 months of their lives for this.

It's suppose to be a shorter season. For some reason I'm not excited about having "celebs".

Hopefully, it will be in their "celebrity contracts" - no slop and no have-not beds and cold showers.

I think it will be fun, depending on the celebrities. Hopefully they get a few comics.

This reminds me of the show, The Surreal Life". Here's a link to Wikipedia. It lists their casts. Maybe some of these people will be on it. It was an entertaining show. Link

I want to see the women manage their hair and makeup without professionals.

The UK Celebrity version for the past 7 or 8 years has lasted between 25 and 32 days. And of course it will be all B list celebrities. That's what all the other CBB's have had, I don't know why ours would be any different. I watch the UK version and those B listers put on a darn good show.

I'll be shocked if Kathy Griffin isn't part of the cast - she's a diehard fan. And maybe Bobby Moynihan (assuming he wasn't pulling our leg that he's a "big fan").

Barry Manilow is a huge fan, but I don't think he'd do this. Barry and Kathy are real life friends.

Are children of politicians considered celebrities? Chelsea Clinton and one of the Trump kids?

Here is a small list of celebs that in the past have tweeted about BB and their love of it. Valerie Bertinelli Matthew Morrison Andy Milonakis Shannon Elizabeth Mary Lyn Rajskub Does anybody here watch the "The Talk"? It was maybe 2 or 3 years ago, a very pregnant young celebrity was a guest and she was BEGGING to be on a CBB. BB is her favorite show. Can anybody remember who that was? In my head I can hear her and see her big belly, but I just can't see her face to remember who it was.

I'm trying to figure out the timing here, and I think I have a general idea: -This is mainly counterprogramming to the Olympics. The Olympics are 2/9-2/25. -I'm also thinking they'll use some of the OTT rules. -I'm thinking 10 celebs, no jury, a final 3 format (winner of comp at F4 goes to final 3, picks the 2nd person, and other 2 compete for last spot), and the audience picks the winner. -because of this, I think it'll be something like 28 days (which is in line with CBB in the UK) -So a perfect time would be 2/7-3/7 (they don't want to start too much farther back, as the Super Bowl is 2/4) -I'd probably go with the Sun/Wed/Thurs schedule, with a couple of special eps (no Sunday ep 2/25 because of the closing ceremony, no Sunday ep 3/4 because of the Oscars). So using a 2/7-3/7 schedule, you could go like this: We 2/7- intro Th 2/8- intro part 2 Su 2/11- noms/POV We 2/14- evict 10/9 HOH Th 2/15- noms/POV Su 2/18- evict 9/8 HOH We 2/21- noms/POV Th 2/22- evict 8/7 HOH Fr 2/23- noms/POV We 2/27- double eviction 7/5 HOH Th 2/28- noms/POV Fr 3/1- evict 5/4 HOH Mo 3/5- evict comp 4/3, final pleas We 3/7- finale after audience vote

I wonder if there will be live feeds. Naja I love Valerie Bertinelli but I doubt she would do it.

With the regular TV season going, I wouldn't think that 3 days a week is open.

Whose the idiot in programming that thought it would be a good idea to go up against the Winter Olympics? That's crazy.

The schedule isn't out. Wilson is guessing. I personally think it will start in January.
