Being isolated in a house full of people you don't trust, and your only outlet is your friend in the DR could be the equivalant to a gun to the head, albeit not actually loaded.

Ryan and Adam seem to be kind of weak when it comes to making a decision and sticking to it. I think this game is really stressing them out. They should know that it's best to keep two opposed people in the house rather than two people who seem to be very ok with eachother. Just like they said before the last DR entry, keep Nat to take out Sheila. That's an easy one for them.

My question about production interference is motivation. Why do they care who stays or goes? What possible difference could it make to them?

Ryan kept telling Nat .... no way whould the DR ever be able to do that to me .... don't get it ....

I think they have a certain agenda to bring TV viewers in. I would also think that the only people who SEE the DR manipulation are the internet viewers, and they hate us anyway. They are not really doing this to please us. They are doing it to bring in SPONSORS. That's where the real money is, not the price we pay for feeds. The feeds are just a nasty inconvenience to them.

What ratings? How do they know how certains players effect ratings? Natalie seems very popular on the boards, wouldn't her leaving be bad for ratings in that case?

In our 'politically correct' world, CBS probably doesn't want a former stripper to win. They'd prefer a Penthouse Pet! That's at least 'classy' Hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo.....

Alt, I don't see where you are getting that Nat is the most popular on the boards. Have you seen the post for James? I think it's about even.

Alt, they don't care about the boards! Boards=Internet viewers. Like I said, we are just an annoyance to them. And...who knows why they think certain players affect ratings? I don't think I want to be inside Alison Grodner's head to figure that out. I'd need a long shower afterwards!

While I'm still a Nat fan, if she ends up staying tonight, I will be ok with any of them winning. I just don't want Sharon to win because I don't like her game play.

I don't want Sharon to win either, basically because she really had no game play. Unless you can include laying down, sleeping, reading the bible and shrieking at the GP's game play! Imagine a 'stressful' game like BB where you can WIN 1/2 Million Dollars by reading the entire bible and catching up on your beauty rest.

I can just picture Sharon's face with that W symbol next to it, or Sheilas. I think a woman is going to win this year. Just a hunch!

BB is supposed to be about manipulation...THAT is the premise! if you mean BB the show, then no, that's not the premise - the premise of endemol's BB was not to manipulate the HG's in the DR - that may be be the premise of AG's BB, but not the premise of endemol, who created BB

Lisa on BB3 won and she spent her entire time in bed but I'm glad she won over Danielle. June won BB4 and was not a very exciting player. I don't remember her winning many comps. Boogie did nothing to win All Stars and if Will weren't backing him I'm sure he would have been gone early. It is what it is.

I really feel like they want a F2 to be the last pair that they set up. That way they can say the gimick they used this year came to a fruitful conclusion.

Lisa won by default due to Dani's DRs. Jun was a behind the scenes manipulator who spent her time in the kitchen listening and observing. Boogie manipulated and won comps, and yes he did have Will, but Boogie played the game. Maggie laid in bed like a cult leader and had her subjects do her bidding. Out of all of them, the only one IMO who did not deserve to win was Lisa. And if Sharon wins this season I will feel that she did not deserve the win.

I'm good with anyone except Sheila winning it. That bashfest the other night making Natalie cry and making everything all about "but what about me?? me! me!" just turned me against her for good. Yes, you're 46, single mother, yes - this game is ALL about you! You deserve the money and no one else! @@ I don't think I've ever disliked a houseguest this much and that's saying alot (Boogie).

But how many JUST tv viewers are there for BB? I'd be curious. I also still don't know why one HG would be any better for ratings than another. Since I can't make that make any sense, I have a hard time understanding why production would care who went home. As for Natalie being popular, I just go by what I read in the current happenings thread. 90/10 Natalie positive.

Wow, Alt hazel, there are a few of us here at work that watch - 4. I am the only one with feeds and none of them like Natalie, they aren't too fond of Sheila either.

"BB is supposed to be about manipulation...THAT is the premise! " Then why hide the WHOLE PREMISE of the show??? Why do we not hear any of that BB manipulation? Why do we NEVER hear the voice of BB?

Then why hide the WHOLE PREMISE of the show??? Why do we not hear any of that BB manipulation? Why do we NEVER hear the voice of BB? Because the BB premise is about an unseen and and unknown authorative entity...controlling and monitoring the masses... In Orwell's 1984, Big Bro did not go around proclaiming it was controlling everything... it just did... Controll, manipulate... and have everyone thinking its their free choice... Big Bro....in a nutshell And you do get to hear BB voice... everytime someone is told to put on their microphone...

We only get to hear the pre-recorded message when someone is told to put on a mic, or come to the DR. What is meant by 'hearing BB' in this case, is that we want to hear the manipulation that goes on in the DR, so that we could get the entertainment we are paying for. In the book 1984, there were no paying customers.

" And you do get to hear BB voice... everytime someone is told to put on their microphone..." ONLY on the feeds....NEVER on the TV show, which is primary focus.

I think sometimes those of us with the feeds think we should be in on everything and sometimes even think we should have some control of how the show is run. The only thing I expected when paying for the feeds was that I could see more footage than the TV show (snd these days BBAD). I also thought the premise was to see how people acted when isolated for 3 months and their whole world became the house and the people in it. And that BB woukd try to manipulate them. I don't think it matters much whether the people have aspirations to be in show business or to be a teacher, truck driver or candlestick maker. That environment is pretty alien no matter what you do in the outside world I generally find I like some players and loathe others and I always enjoy these boards, but in the end it's the producer's show to do with what they want. Of course this is just my opinion, no better or worse than anyone else's.
