I think that we can't base this year on what was done in previous year's because the show's schedule is different. It seems they are cutting it a little short this season, and with Tuesday/Wednesday instead of Tuesday/Thursday, they don't have the editing time between shows that they usually have. When the feeds were blocked in Season 6 for the double eviction, it wasn't this close to the end of the show. Other than knowing who is gone, and being able to watch the endurance comp, it's not that big a deal to me if the feeds are blocked, because they're going to be so boring these last few days!

Well, I for one, will be really ticked if they block the feeds (although I can't see how they can block BBAD, unless they run a movie or something) since the last endurance comp is one everyone who has watched BB all these years, looks forward to. It will be a total rip-off if they block us from all of it.

Kiara: This morning BB had the HGs get up earlier than usual and dress. One of them mentioned having to get up for ShowTime which leads many of us to believe ShowTime taped a segment from this morning for broadcast tonight.

Chew: I too hope the feeds come back on once Part 1 has begun, but I'm not counting on it to happen that way.

In the past they have had the feeds blocked before .... didn;t they always have a notice they would be blocked for a certain amount of time ..... than people wouldn't have to sit at there computer to all hours.

Bbnine, They only blocked them once that I can recall, in BB6 when Jeniffer was evicted. And there was no warning. AND it ended up being for nothing because the feeds came on for a few short seconds and the only person missing in the room was Jennifer. So we all knew anyway.

Naja your comment about the crew reminded me of how ticked they must have been when they built that volcano (last year?) and the contest was over before it even erupted.

In the early seasons, the feeds were blocked for days. They didn't post a notice, several calls to Real Player and tons of upset fans didn't get very far. There were lots of rumors (some given to fans by Real staff) about how long the feeds would be down. It was truly an exercise in frustration. And people did sit at their computers for hours. And hours. And spent a LOT of time on this board talking about it! We were not happy campers. But the bottom line is that they can do it, it's been done before. It seems that with BBAD it would be more difficult, but I guess Showtime could run a blurb saying BBAD will not be seen tonight. I doubt they'll go that far, but I don't have anything to base that on other than my opinion.

They better not block it during the endurance comp. Those are the very best thing about having live feeds!!! So, when is the fake "live show" tonight? 8 - 9 EDT? Hmmm.... Do the HGs know it is fake?

The houseguests were talking as if showtime was taped earlier in the day but the houseguest could possibly have been confused about taping the "live to tape" show of the pov ceremony and eviction. So who knows.

The feeds may stay off till tomorrow's fake live show. So you're missing a lot of what was the reaction of Adam at seeing Sheila's gone. all the talk that usually follows an eviction you may only see it a bit during Wednesday's show. You will miss Ryan nagging about Sheila, you will miss Sharon's fake cheerful mood (she must know she's next), you will miss Adam looking lost without big mama. But I think we could all live without them...

Then maybe they will be doing the POV ceremony and the votes and tomorrow Julie will announce the result of Adam's vote and they will have the eviction and interview with Julie and then the first part of HOH will start. On Wednesday they will have the second part of HOH and the final part on Sunday.

Spunky, that's how I thought it went in years past. They started with a LIVE eviction (instead of doing it at the end) and went to part 1 of HOH (questions) then at the end, went to part 2 which was endurance. This is how I believe it will go down.

Spunky - the final part of the HOH comp determines the final two. That has to be played Wednesday since the finale is Sunday. That leaves time for jury questioning in between. Also, everyone - for this thread's subject line - Someone posted at Joker's regarding calling CBS and being told the feeds will be blocked until the endurance competition is finished. LINK

I'm wondering what the point is of resuming the feeds only after the endurance comp is done, particularly when watching it is a highlight of the season for feed purchasers. We'll all still know before tomorrow's show who got evicted and who won part 1. You'd think they deliberately want to alienate their most devoted group of viewers.

Who is losing money on this, Real Player? I think CBS only cares about tv audience? I don't get this dumb move to block the feeds during an exciting competition as the first part of HOH, it could have lasted till the wee hours like last time with Zach and Dick. If the internet viewers paid for it why not let them see the part 1 of the HOH comp? They've known about nominations, pov winner and so many other things before the tv show, what's the difference with this? TV ratings? If they bring back the feeds after the comp we still will know who won before they show it on tv. So why not let the feeds on... that was dumb! Anyway, we know Ryan won part 1 of HOH, if Sheila is there and Ryan dropping right after her to throw it to Ryan. (Thanks Adam for the spoiler). If Sharon is still there, same result.
