James is the most surprising to me. He doesn't seem wild and crazy like he appears in his picture. Maybe he's holding back on purpose. I still like him and Chelsia so far.

So far I have enjoyed watching Chelsea and James. They started off getting along really well, and they approached the whole soul mate thing with a great sense of humor. When they were laying in bed after being paired off, Chelsea was already starting to talk strategy with him. Their heads seem to be in the game and they are approaching things with a good sense of humor. Chelsea is probably one of Bunny's favorites already because she invoked her name when she called James Honey-Bunny! LOL! I don't like Adam. His comment in the beginning before going into the house that women are servants, so get to it really was telling for me. I also don't like Sheila. The way she stupidly got all caught up in the whole soul mate thing, and saying that he wasn't her type was so ridiculous! She isn't expected to marry him or give birth to any of his puppies, what's the big deal? Yes, being paired off with anyone would be quite a shock, and it would require a shift of strategy. Being paired off with Adam would be very hard to accept because his personal habits leave a lot to be desired. Anyone want to sit around and watch him pick his nose for a while? Yes, he's irresistible! I feel sorry for both Jacob and Sharon. The pain they both feel is just terrible. His guilt and her righteous indignation is just sad. They both should have expected to see each other though. This is big brother, after all. The others really haven't made an impression on me yet. I'll probably be disgusted by every one of them sooner or later.

Bbbabe, I'm from Iowa too and am rooting so far for Chelsia. I'm also psyched to see that even though she's a UNI student she was wearing a UIOWA Hawkeyes shirt! I'm taking classes there now and although corny I kinda thought that was cool to see here wear!

I really don't like Sharon, Sheila, Adam, or Parker. I was really sorry to see Neil leave; he seemed very nice, as does Joshua. The rest of them I don't have an opinion about just yet. Adam reminds me of Tony Farrari(sp), <55> LOL Aside from the eyes, though, he seems to be very full of himself.

The only one I am not bothered by to date is Chelsia. It is interesting to learn she is from Iowa, where I grew up and UNI where I went to college. Everyone else seems vacant to me. I think I heard more talk about being on the show last night than the entirety of BB8 during the Showtime airing. Although I am pleased that there are fewer "model" types, I wish they would do an older cast. Maybe find some people with vocabularies for a change.

<55> I know I'm in the minority here, but I like Sheila and felt sorry for her when they paired her with Adam. (Maybe it's an age thing since I'm going to be 45 next month!). It's like she got a double whammy because she got paired with him and has to sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag with him. I would zip myself up in the bag and make him sleep on the carpet. lol I really like Joshua and Natalie (I think that's her name, she's the one who has the big ummm....you know ). I was so shocked/bummed to find out that Neil is gone (and Sharon is back). I think he and Joshua were really funny together.

I liked Sharon before she got evicted. I can't stand her since she came back. She is full of crap. She blabbers on continuously and going off on all kinds of wrong assumptions and spreading them around as truths. Why is she sticking to Parker like that? And it drives me crazy when she slaps her hands together as she is making a point.

You know what- Natalie isn't as bad as I feared actually...Neil and Joshua (before Neil left) seemed to be the most "normal" HG's (at last as normal as you can get in there). Ryan said he's only doing this because Jen is such a BB fan, and it shows to me (he might be competitive, but he probably will fall on his sword in the end)....haven't gotten a handle on the others too much yet.

Well it's early yet but so far I don't care much for Amanda. It seems to me that she has a 'thing' for her own tush. She looks at it alot and during the HOH comp I noticed that with every correct answer she would get up to hug Adam and stick out her butt for the camera. If those shorts were any shorter they'd be a thong. ;)

I nooticed that as well Piper, it also seeems like she is eliberately acting dumb.Or maybe is't not an act......... As to dislikes, Adam has weird eyes, and I don't like him calling Shelia "Ma". What an unlucky draw tohave him as her soul mate. The bickering may get those two evicted pdq.

I was talking to Mom (we usually call each other during the tv show) last night complaining about Sharon and then I told her well I guess I don't have to worry about not liking her since she is gone. This am I wake up and read she is back, lmao. I can't wait to call and tell Mom this morning.

Ugh, I'm not a big Adam fan at all. He's <25> and his "retard" comment did me in. I'm with you Cino, I wasn't crazy about Sheila to begin with but seeing her try to get along with Adam during the HOH comp changed my opinion a little. I love Ryan, but think he's going to go soon and my favorite so far has to be James. He seems to have a handle on the game and not getting caught up in the drama. Plus I love his expressions.

My first dislike: Amanda. I don’t like how she’s prancing around the house like she's got this game figured out to the end. I guess it’s easy to think/feel that way in week 1 when you're HoH and have confidence that your alliance will have your back. I can’t wait until her world is turned upside down with uncertainty, as you know it will. I can’t tell Alex and Matt apart without looking at the cast photos. I have no opinion on either of them. I’m also still trying to figure out how I feel about Adam, Allison, and Natalie. I was glad to see Sharon return but that only lasted 2 hours. She really started to get on my nerves after a while repeating the Jacob story over and over again last night. I know she’s emotional about everything that went down so I’ll continue to reserve judgment as far as she’s concerned. However I wish she showed a little excitement or appreciation in the fact that she has a second chance to play the game. I’m not ready to dislike Parker. Even though he was extremely negative on the first night of feeds, he has also displayed a level self-awareness about his actions and has even apologized for his behavior. I respect that. Jen and Ryan – I wanted to not like them the moment I found out they’re a dating couple, but after the producers teamed them with separate partners my desire to not like them lessened. I definitely like Ryan better than Jen at this point. I have the feeling he’s purposely playing low key to protect Jen, but if he stays in the game longer than Jen, I believe he could be a force to be reckoned with. Josh and Neil didn’t stand out to me on the first night of feeds. Now that Neil is gone I wish I paid more attention to them. I didn’t have an opinion of Josh until I watched his reaction to Neil’s departure-- it made me like him a lot along with hearing him tell Chelsia how he plans to play the game. Watching Chelsia comfort Josh after Neil leaving made me like her even more. I also enjoyed watching Chelsia and James talk game in private. Of all the couples, they seem to be the most grounded and focused to work together as a team. Unlike the other teams they seem the most unselfish. I still like Sheila, mostly for her train wreck potential. oh geez, I didn't mean to write a book. just a little bored at work.

Goddess, you may be more right about the similiarity between Shelia and last year's Jen than you remember. Remember, in the first eposide last season, how Jen treated Dick, telling the other girls not to let him touch them and acting like he was somehow unclean or something. Sheli'a treatment of Adam was similiar, though a lot mor overt and more cruel. The difference was Adam will probably forgive and forget. Dick held the grudge throughout the entire show. I believe to this day, that explained his treatment of Jen for the rest of the time. And he was the kind who pulled no punches when he was out for revenge.

I hate this season's twists. When are they going back to the original premise of the show. Put 16 strangers in a house and let it play out? The new twist could be there is no twist. Let them all be looking for one that does not happen. Let the real twist be a slight change in the rules and procedures, instead of the casting.

I thought I was going to like Sharon - but now I really don't. I thought I wasn't going to like Amanda, but I do! She really reminds me of Janie. Her eyes and her nose (when Janie wasn't wearing makeup). And how she acts dumb, but I'm not so sure she is. I like Jen . . . I like Parker . . . it's going to be an interesting season!!

I would enjoy it if the new twist was that there was no twist. Maybe for the summer edition they can drive the HGs crazy by putting all strangers in the house with no twist. I am sure they would all be trying to figure out who knows each other and what is the twist (which doesn't exist). I don't have anyone that I really hate yet. Just some that I like less than others. But give it time and I am sure I will be yelling at them to vote someone out.

I only have BBAD so I don't know as much as most of you. I really don't like Jen. She is too much like Dani with a sense of entitlement, crying too much and is too much of a diva. I am way over Sharon. She was such a fool last nite, running off her mouth and saying way too much to too many people without really knowing the dynamics of the house. Natalie has surprised me. She is so different from the clip on the Early Show and I mean in a good way. Her wardrobe is certainly interesting. I sorta like the way Parker is now dealing with his situation. I feel bad that he could be sacrificed to get rid of Jen. Amanda is weird but I can't put my finger on it. I still can't tell half the guys apart because BBAD has concentrated so much on the women in the house. I'm still trying to figure out what is going on. So much action in so little time.

I have to say I like Amanda....mainly because of her name. After all, that is what I named my daughter.

I am liking Alex but have zero tolerance for Amanda. I too named my daughter Amanda but thankfully my Amanda is NOTHING like this one. I hope they split the pairs eventually.
