Scotch...Ryan hurt his neck in the food comp. aggravated it in POV and sent it over the top while working out.
He was given muscle relaxants. At first he said it was something like Fixorel or something with an F and an X...but last night he was saying they were giving him valium.

It's a muscle thing.

Why would they give him valium for a muscle pull? I think the muscle relaxer was flexeral or something like that.

Bee, Wouldn't ya think, if he works out much in the real world, wouldn't he know better than to workout with a pulled muscle? I don't know, but I would think that would aggravate the situation more?

Valium also can work to relieve muscles in a different manner than a traditional muscle relaxer as it relaxes your whole body and is an anti-anxiety type medicine and when you are anxious or stressed your muscles stiffen.

Is it just me or is Sheila aging in that house? lol

The darker she gets the older she looks. Her wrinkles, lines in her neck, aren't tanning so are more pronounced.

Why is it that he can have pain meds while Adam said he couldn't bring his into the house... Didn't adam tell Sheila Yah it hurts (his facial pain) but they wouldn't let him bring meds in because it would affect how he did in comps (or something like that)

I don't know this, of course, but I kind of think he just told the others he was given valium. James was talking to Ryan about being weak for HOH with the muscle and all and that maybe Ryan would want to consider keeping James to play for HOH.
But in the beginning he was saying they were giving him some drug with an F and an X in it...now it's valium.

Who knows?
I can't wait to get back home to my feeds so I can see if I can figure all this out. lol

Shelia would actually look pretty good for her age, body and face wise if it were not for her neck. Never seen a woman's neck age like that myself to be honest. It is what sadly detracts from her because at times she can be a very attractive woman.

Sheila should also be beyond the age where she lays out in the sun... you would think that she would know the hazards ... (Well they all should, but 20 somethings can be so vein)

Bon, well Flexeril and Valium are not considered traditional "pain meds." One is a muscle relaxant and the other is an anti-anxiety med. Whereas a pain med such as Loratab or Valium have narcotic properties.

Flexeril
Flexeril is a muscle relaxant. It works by blocking nerve impulses (or pain sensations) that are sent to your brain.
Flexeril is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain or injury.

(ETA: mind meld. LOL)

Bon...I think, perhaps, it's because he wanted to use them every day as opposed to occasionally when he had pain.

Well even if he wanted to use them every day, how does that affect the game? I admit ignorance in the subject of medications... would a pain killer make him "less anxious" or less susceptible to HG's annoying behavior??? What is the rationale for denying someone their everyday medication???

Bon, depends on what it is, what it's for and a person's use of them. If it is perceived as more of use that could lead to an addiction rather than a short term use such as a muscle relaxer, that could be the cause. Given the high dependency that general society has on narcotics these days and the number of addicts and how they are being sold like candy, it could be that BB determined they were not needed, or rather BB's doctor. Just depends on a lot of factors.

Whoa major DR leak...lol.

ETA: They showed Ryan in the DR - he had some earrings in his ears (bling) and the guy asked him to take them off b/c they looked kind of feminine...lol. He was doing the negatives/positives of Sharon. He said that it was good to keep her b/c they have a secret alliance and work well together.
