My type is exactly the opposite of Sheila. Well, except for the dark hair. But flip everything else and you have my dream woman! ;)

I like people who do not make a situation they do not like worse by making the other person feel bad.

I like them with dark hair, taller then me, and just a little on the chubby side. Not fat just huggable. Just like my husband!

Agreed, bigsis. She acted like it was the end of the world. Hello? She can't believe she has to share a bed with him - as if they are being forced to fall in love and procreate! Puh-leeze!

it was humiliating. I thought that this was a Sheila appreciation thread. I think everyone has a type that they prefer, however sometimes personality matches as more longlasting. BUT I dont know about you guys, a man who bleches farts or Picks his nose in public, <100< does NOT have a chance with me. Not sure how badly Adam portrayed himself that first day, but it must have been badly since Sheila had such a visceral reaction.

Well, he certainly isn't my type either, <25>. But she made it seem like an arranged marriage or something. Think she's taking the "soulmate" thing too seriously, maybe.

She sounded like she was a little desperate to find love on a TV show and when it isn't going to happen then she was pissed off. Really pissed off!

I thought she acted like a sixteen-yer-old! They are not married! They are partners on a reality show! Somehow she has failed to grasp the concept that she can't win unless he wins too!

It is really sad to see a woman of her age act so immaturely. She acted as though she had to marry him for the rest of her life or something.

She was not at the top of her game from the git, and from what I have seen so far on AD, she is Bitter. SHe could have handled the Ma comment better. Did she not know that it was likely she would be one of the oldest? She is one of those people that I wonder if she ever watched the show!

The thing that got me about Shelia was her meaness. Poor Adam is just one of those guys that you probably have to get to know to appreciate. He does not have a great personality and he is not good looking. But the guy has feelings. What makes her think she is such a bargin herself. I imagine he was dreading having her as a partner just as much as she was. He was probably hoping for one of the young chicks with a great body. He was just too polite to make a fuss about it. Lord, she could have at least pretended it was OK. Didn't she "get it" that they were going to be partners and there was nothing she could do about it? No one was telling her she had to marry the guy. She just has to partner up with him for a few weeks. In fact, not getting emotionally involved should be a plus. It will take a lot for me to become a fan of hers. That is for sure.

My thoughts exactly Allietex. Where does Shelia come off thinking she's a great catch? I do think she looks good for her age, but I think Shelia said it best when she said "I hate to be so shallow". Beauty is not only what's on the outside, and from what I've seen of Shelia, her insides could definitely use a make over.

Well in defense of Sheila (but not the mean way she expressed it) I think she was upset because the people who matched her up with him supposedly thought it was a good match, and she felt it reflected poorly on her. I have been fixed up with people before where, no offense intended, I could NOT believe people didn't think I deserved or rated better. I think we all have a belief about our own "level" whether its justified or accurate or not, and when other people undermine our belief by fixing us up with someone we believe is not on our level, we are hurt and angry. She couldn't have handled it worse, but I felt her pain, because she is pretty darn good looking for her age and has probably gone out with some darn good looking younger guys. It's insulting that the producers were saying Adam is the best she could do, for whatever reason. The response is not to insult the other person, but to go to the producers and say hey, do you really think I can't do better than him? Do you really think I can't attract a tall dark handsome young guy? Because I do, and I have. Now I sound like a jerk too but I didn't hear anyone else echo my perspective, that she was probably insulted.

A little more defense of Sheila... she may have had issues coming in about being the oldest woman in the house, knowing most of the others would be 20 years younger than her, and knowing that BB is often a game of "popular people". Then to be told that he was her perfect match, well I agree with Madelane that she would have been insulted and it probably paid into her feelings that she was already an outsider. Add to that that she probably came in with a definite game plan (and of course that applies to everyone else too) that is completely ruined by not only being partnered, but by being partnered with someone who she felt she couldn't even have a working relationship with. She handled it really badly, but I mean, in the few shots we saw of him his behaviour was disgusting. Maybe we'll see he's a doll when the live feeds play, but even then, he created the initial "eurg" reaction, at least imo. And of course she created the huge mess that followed by not being diplomatic. <100>

The woman fell apart because her game partner had 'blond curls.' Her life must be really, really fabulous. wow. I hope she doesn't throw it all away b/c of this, and can find a way to cope.

If she is almost 46 and single, then "her type she likes" obviously isn't working. My husband is the total opposite of me, but, we are a match made in heaven. He is younger (18 months) is shorter than me, and darn it, now skinnier than me lol.. She seemed so shallow about looks and not at least trying to give the poor guy a chance, as others said they are just partners in the game, they are not expected to marry etc.. I think she needs an intervention on how just because someone looks good, they can be a jerk on the inside (yes I have dated a few lol)..

Redhawk, I loved your comment: He smokes, she has bad breath — they were made for each other! I've noticed that people who are bitter about their lives often have bad breath. That bitterness must settle in the stomach.

So has anyone watched Sheila or Adam on the feeds? Are either of them more likeable than the first impressions suggested?

Thats why I'm here Kitt. Just turned on feeds and Sheila is going on and on about her life/ acting/ Penthouse shoot. In just a few mins she has irritated the heck out of me. I am the same age and think she looks haggard for 45yrs old, especially the neck. I think her self image is not what others see.

I don't care what bad habits he has, he seemed to handle the situation a lot better/more kindly than she did. He couldn't have been thrilled to have her for his partner, but she was downright nasty in her reaction. And I don't think BB said he was her "perfect" partner, just that out of those particular contestants, he was the one she was "most compatible" with. She took that "soulmate" thing too seriously.

I think making jokes about her AGE by calling her Ma was just as nasty of a reaction. He started the ball rolling with the comment IMHO But after watching Sheila in action today, she seems very egocentric
