didn't they (Ryan/Nat) tell Adam that it was really up to him after they tried to tell him to put James on the block. If they wanted to put James up then Ryan should have won HOH. Adam is doing what he thinks is best for him, I personally think it was the wrong move but hey, Adam is the HOH not me. As for BB interfering in the game, isn't that what it should be. If they want to isolate the players from outside influence then there shouldn't be a person asking them questions in the DR. Just have them go into the DR to record their video diaries and leave without talking to anyone. BB Philippines had a priest go to Kuya's house every Sunday. So BBUS can do the same thing. Rebel, how do you get your text to show up as pink?

perhaps adam is blaming his nominations on DR pressure so Ryan and Natalie won't completely turn on him. if james wins the veto, adam is good with james if james wins the next hoh. if james survives this week and doesn't win the next hoh, he will continue to be the number one target over adam. adam is walking a thin line, but keeping a bigger target in the game that is james isn't the worst move he could make. doing ryan, natalie, and sheila's dirty work to rid the house of james will only make him the number one target once james is gone. adam will be vulnerable next week if james is gone and one of the girls win hoh.

I'm just taking pleasure in having PROOF that BB interferes. I find it interesting as to who the Alison Grodner favorite HG of the year is, and how she manipulates the show to keep that controversial person in the house. Fascinating...

If the DR was working things to help Natalie's game, would James' fans be upset about it?

I agree Chere. Adam can say whatever he wants about what the DR told him to save face.

IMHO-- James WILL win POV and not use it on Sharon.... He has said that he's playing for himself cuz he doesn't fully trust Sharon... He will be playing for safety and ball to the wall to win. Adam is saying this to Sharon-- "I f'ed up... to cover himself".... it's an act between him and Sheila.... He's thinking about jury right now... Besides, James kknows that Sharon wouldn't take him down if she won it... IMO...

Oohh, is Adam having second thoughts? He is now realizing he may have screwed himself out of the game. (Kind of lonely outside w/o your peeps, eh Adam?) You didn't screw yourself, Adam. the DR (or Sheila) screwed you and when you get out, you need make sure everyone knows about their interference.

Adam is now telling Sharon that he screwed himself in this game. About time he realized it!

Hey, I'm no fan of James, but it sure wouldn't break my heart to see a single mother of a 16 year old walk out of this house without the $10,000 that Ryan took from her. Adam shouldn't cry in his beer quite yet - win the dang POV!

Any chance that James' sponsor company (can't remember the name) and CBS are owned by the same company? Just wondering!

Indy, you aren't alone, I believe James too. I watched the convo between he and Adam, then when Nat came up too, then the two of them again. It sure seemed heartfelt to me, so only time will tell. I just hope he DOES win it so he can prove or disprove every one's opinions. NOT winning will only let everyone continue to debate the issue.

When i saw the Water works from James it made me laugh because its just another thing that he called out on Matt about doing on the show in front of lots of viewers to hear..J/C/J are the ones that layed on the tears..James both times he was on the block..All 3 of them threw tantrums and didn't want anyone on the other team to hug or walk to the door...Talk about Sour Grapes on there part!

I knew we were in trouble when Julie Chen called James "The Underdog" last night. Now the stage is set for a "come from behind win", "against all odds", and the lovers will be reunited in the end, true soulmates that met on Big Brother!!

I think Adam knows exactly what he's doing. He knows that Nat will support Ryan over him. Good for Adam, having the ballz to NOT let TC run his HOH this time.

A few things are clear. Adam got double-teamed by the producers and James and taken to school. He made a really dumb move. It is also crystal clear there is no super-secret final 2 alliance between Sheila and Adam. I give even odds this blows up in Adam's face and the net result is it is much worse off for his game. He bought the nonsense from James about wanting a chance to compete and have a competitive POV. That serves James purpose. The DR supported this, because this is going to be a what will you give up POV, and for them if everyone is in it to win it, it will make for much better tv. Not to mention they can save their favorite son James. The problem with all this fairness and the rest, and wanting everyone to compete hard for the POV (why has Adam not been competing hard for the POV?), is that it is likely to cost Adam the game. If this backfires against his (former) alliance, he loses votes that he needed to win. On top of that, he will be a prime target next week. James has never kept his word to anyone in the house, so he easily could use the POV if he won, and he could easily put up Adam next week if he won HOH. Congrats to the producers and James for orchestrating this attack on Adam and pushing him into a very poor decision. His alternative would have been to put up Sharon and James, James goes home, he is in the strongest alliance in the house with a rose-petal path to the final 3 and potentially the final 2. No way it goes now is his path going to be easier to get to the final 2 than it was if he just did what he needed to do. It was a huge mistake.

I've watched James "practice heartfelt faces" too many times to believe any emotion he "feels". I believe he's a feeling person OUT of this house. In this house, I believe he'll do ANYTHING win, and why shouldn't he?

What? Now Adam is saying if he wins POV he 'may' put James up. Hmmm. Sharon telling him he might not look like a traitor to the whole house then. I hate when she calls the guys babe. Adam needs to learn the lesson that you just don't go against your peeps, because it makes it easier to tolerate being in the house when you have friends (sort of)...people to talk to. James certainly isn't his friend. James will still attack Adam if he wins POV; takes someone off the block and puts James up. Therefore, will Adam be playing as hard as he should? Will that give James a better chance?

Kaysar explained it the best. A HG goes into the DR. The DR asks them about the current house situation and about the HG's plans to affect it. The HG tells them their thoughts and plans. The DR then asks why they did this or that and asks if they would do this or that what might be the outcome and offers several different scenarios and asks the HG what they would do in each situation. As Kaysar put it, the DR is playing "devil's advocate" and if the HG then changes their plans based upon the conversation in the DR, then maybe they are weak willed and probably shouldn't win the game. He didn't think it was "manipulation," he thought it allowed the HG a chance to see things in a different way, but ultimately he felt that the HG should "go with their gut."

That is the most I have ever heard about DR influence. However, it was pretty obvious when they called Natalie to the DR, then they immediately went to Noms.
