Just a question... Why does everyone put a watermark on their screencap? I am guessing it is so that if the cap gets used in anything you get "credit" for the picture... But are these really your pictures or CBS's ... isn't it CBS's that does the lighting, positioning, and whatever technical things go into the picture... Aren't we as screencappers merely grabbing their picture and marking it as ours???

People post on message boards and have a signature at the end ... the watermark is no different then a text signature on the image.

That last pic of Sharon looks like her own voice is hurting her own ears. Good.

Why do people put quotes at the end of messages they leave online? Considering most people who actually have the live feeds do not do screencaps, and do not post live feed transcripts, those who do, may want to put up some credit for their work. While I can only speak for myself, quite of a few of the images are not just "capped" ... lighting adjustments and image rotation has been done, as in the case of Natalie's art work the other day, all in an effort to make the caps easier to see or improve the quality.

Saguaro... I am not at all saying it is a bad thing to do, just wondering why? Generally in the art world, the signature identifies the art for all time as having been created, approved of, and completed by the one who signed it... I was just wondering how that transferred to screencaps... I guess I don't see your point about the signature line when people post on message boards. The one's I usually see are some kind of inspirational saying, not something to show ownership of the post...

When you see a report from the president of the United States that is a pool camera set up by the white house. All major networks air the same footage but put their own bug on the tv screen (CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX) ... showing that network is the one providing that image to you, the concept is the same.

That makes sense... see clearly I am not up on the latest technology and learning most of my internet skills from TVCH... but when you bring it down to basic TV examples I can understand it.... Thanks!!

They started playing MUSIC that we could hear, just before they went to flames, and later to trivia.. the HG were looking puzzled about the music.

I don't "sign" my caps for a couple reasons. Reason #1 - I don't care who uses them as their own. Mine are not unique - and usually people cap the same image at the same moment, so whatever. Reason #2 - I'm lazy. When I'm posting caps in here, I want to do it within a few seconds of the event happening, so I just click and post, rather than taking the step of watermarking it too. I don't need credit for my caps, I do it for the pure joy of it.

Abby's Mom - thanks for the close-up of the birthday sign. I didn't see it very well before. I heard Nat say BB won't let her give it to Matt until after the show.

Can anybody see what all those black cards at the bottom say? They look like prizes. I only caught one and it said "Outdoor toys".

They seem to be building trails of potatoes.. James is almost down to the bottom on one where we see FEAST.. Natalie is working on one on the left, Baller to the right of James, Ryan near Adam or up top. Sheila and Sharon are dishing out potatoes from big tubs and shoving them toward the others. The board is tilted and seems very slippery.. James and Adam and Ryan all seem to be slipping a lot.
