I think that Gretchen and Dani brought up a good point on yesterday's Housecalls - Sheila is accidentally playing the game. I am glad that at least some of the HGs can see through all her talk..

I do not like Sheila way of playing the game. I am puzzled and annoyed as to why she keeps saying she is a single mom and her son is watching and he shouldn't be brought into the game. Yet she brought him into and continually uses him as a reason why people should or shouldn't treat her certain ways. She made the choice to come into the house, she made the choice to make Mick a focal point of her strategy and now when it doesn't go her way she get all up in arms that people dar3 to use her single mom status against her?? I really wish she would get put on the block and kept there and then voted out but unfortunately I think she is going to float along while others get voted out before her and she winds up sitting in the final 2 all smug and self righteous. Her circle talking is worse to me than Howies Boobies, Dick Spitting and season 8's combined F word use. Get rid of her and let the others play the game, may the best, most coniving, manipulative, deserving HG win... Sheila is my only regret this BB season

Her moves would be brilliant if her timeing were better. What is the point to ranting about who would vote you out when you are not even on the block.

I agree Caprica, and I think the reason is because she's so full of herself. I'd hate to be her friend in real life, she'd absolute drain you. Erinbear, I completely think you've pegged her. If she'd never brought up her son, who'd know she had one. She chose to do this show now live it. If anyone is using her son as a weapon, it's her.

When Sheila has said over and over again that she saved M/N or Ryan do they ever say anything back to her or agree with her? Then IMO, they are the ones who have helped make her even more full of herself.

I agree about being careful what you talk about cause it can be used against you in the game down the line.........however, how can you go live in a confined house like that for 3months and not talk about the things and people you love. It really isnt possible and there are lots of people who wouldnt get mean spirited about such personal things.

Danielle Donato was very good about keeoing her personal life hidden from everyone. The only inklings we got were from her father <66>, not from her. I have never seen a houseguests so discreet. Of course at 20 there is a lot less to hide but she did have some painful years and bitter memories she was holding on to.

She did another flip last night. After promising Ryan than he had her vote, as soon as Matt started talking, she flipped. This may come back to haunt her. Ryan is going to know he cannot trust her. She will move up on his radar.

Sheila and Adam voted for Ryan because James made it clear he wanted a tie.

Gonzilly linked to this in one of the other threads: http://bbcouchpotatoes.blogspot.com/ They have lots of clips of things from last night, and if you scroll near the end there's a conversation with Sheila and Josh about Matt. Sheila gets very upset about Chelsia's rant, and it seems she is particularly upset about her talking about Matt's eyes. Josh suddenly thinks that Sheila is Matt's mother - presumably because of how worked up she is over him - and after a little while and a DR interruption, Sheila says she's not his mother but that Matt is part of her family. Josh believes it, and I'm sure Sheila can justify it later by saying she meant she felt he was part of her family but.... Good move or bad move? Will this work to her benefit? I think Josh thinks he's shared something with Sheila now and it might help her.

Once again, another bone-headed move by Sheila. There are only so many times a player can let others think they have a "special connection" to another player in the game without it biting them in the butt big time! Sheila was not really on the radar, she's been lucky to get through several weeks. If she would stop getting involved in this kind of stuff, she would further her chances to stay in the game. As it is, she has put another target on her back, just like she did when she let everyone think she and Allison were a lesbian couple. If they think Matt is her relative, he's an automatic vote in the end, as well as a campaigning voice in the sequester house for everyone who comes in.

Tissy, she told Sharon it was true...or she told her she lied to Josh?

She told Sharon it wasnt true. She just is protective of Matt because of his eye condition. It might backfire on her if Sharon goes back to Josh.

Thanks Tissy! Did she say why she let him believe that? It is not to her advantage!! You KNOW Sharon will tell Josh!

I agree that Sheila's strategy is very peculiar. It goes against everything to let other players think you have some sort of special alliance and now this is the second time she has done this.

Matt is out of the house though, and she said Natalie doesn't know, so from Josh's perspective it gives Sheila a valid and compassionate reason for her emotions AND it means that Sheila has trusted him with something that she has lost (having Matt with her). I can see her thinking it might work out to her advantage if Josh was HoH next week and he now thought of her as trusting him. But then why tell Sharon (of all people!) it was made up! That's just asking for trouble.

The only reason I can come up with is...she was saying that she feels alone in this game, that no one has her back. Somehow she thinks that by saying she has these "connections" with others it makes her feel not so alone? It shows the others that she has some backing? Maybe she thinks that will intimidate others? Twisted reasoning, I agree.

That is true..maybe she just felt silly for crying and justified it by pretending she had a deeper reason....could be as simple as that!

The only reason I can come up with is...she was saying that she feels alone in this game, that no one has her back. It`s because she has no-one elses back <apart from the ones she`ll stab>. She has a f2 pact with Adam / Natalie and possibly Sharon and each one she`ll discard when necessary. She`s playing for the jury votes by getting her `connection` with each and every one of them, sympathising with Chelsia last night, a little tete a tete with Josh. Ryans confiding in her about his grand-father. James had her worked out when he mentioned to Julie that Sheila had the best game. For her plan to work, she`ll need to get out Ryan, Nat and Adam though.

I think the crying is all part of her game plan, she`s a tough cookie underneath it all.

Oh, I love Sheila. She makes the show!! I love her John Kerry flip-flopping! Reminds me of myself! She is so intelligent, I want the best for her, so I hope she embraces the independent Sheila when it comes down to the big moments. But it really seems like Evel Dick's appearance affected her and she wishes she were apart of the "Evil Side of the House" as Nat would say. Haha. <76> At the end of the day, you never know what <Sheila and Adam> are gonna do because they care way too much about being popular. I think they truly are soul mates. But it seems at the end of the day, Sheila has been able to come to her senses most of the time

Who will be the one to get or try to get Sheila out of the house? As the # of HG dwindle down, there will be less people for Sheila to run to....her game has to be up soon.

Panda, if they were smart, they would keep Sheila around for F2, IMO. If she does get evicted, I am not sure anyone would be too disappointed though.

Sheila's worst move, she is playing the exact same game she was playing at the beginning of BB9. She needs to shift gears. Is demeaning behind your back and is nice to your face. James caught (and I know they all do it to some extent) but this has been her strategy. Get you put up, reassure you I'm the 'good guy here', then boot your bum out with a kiss, kiss, hug, hug. With so few people left, she really has to be careful now.

I find myself sending good vibes to Sheila this morning to actually win POV this time around. She's taken a lot of flack in the house for not winning anything, and I'd like to see her redeemed in some small way before she leaves the game. Iris said She needs to shift gears. Today is her day, if she is capable of doing it. Time to put your money where your mouth is. In some odd way, I'm proud of this 40's lady who has held her own against the group of younguns without the benefit of being a strong challenge player. She could have easily been picked off, but by the sheer will of her mouth, she has survived. I don't hold out much hope for a win under her belt, but I figure throwing those good thoughts her way this morning couldn't hurt.

Personally, I think she's survived this long because there have been bigger targets. And because she's proven to be fairly inept at challenges. She's not really been a threat so she's been on the bottom of the totem pole.

I would like to see Sheila win this POV, too. It would be just as shocking as it was that Adam didn't put James up...and I'm all for an all around shocking week. lol
