I really don't get the blankie hate. I hardly notice it unless I'm looking for it.
My 22 yr has a piece of her old blanket that she still sleeps with under her pillow.

Maybe it is just that we have to find something to complain about each one of them and other than her voice volume there isn't much to pick on Sharon for.

LOL, actually Beek, she took it to school earlier this week for reading day (they get to take pillows/blankies cuz they lay out on the floor and read part of the day.)

Where is Natalie at? I'm guessing Sheila's back in bed?

What I don't understand is why no one says anything to her about molesting that blankie night and day. I know I would have to make fun of her and that thing.

Kale,

I don't mind that she has the blankie, but having it around her neck almost 24/7 is strange. I could see her sleeping with it. That would not be strange to me.

kale, the difference is that your daughter sleeps with her blankie under her pillow. sharon is draped in hers more than dustin wore the crown.

i think that a piece of home would be invaluable in there, but if she would just set aside SOME blankie time. but, i do not have blankie hate... i just do not "trust" the blankie.

Kale, I think there is a difference between sleeping with a favorite item (I myself slept with a stuffed animal when I first got married), and wearing it around your neck and playing with it 24/7. I can understand that she is under stress, and I may give her comfort, but it is a little silly to cary it around every where you go.

I am sure we all have something. My dad passed away a year ago and I took his comforter for my bed. I could smell my dad and it was a huge comfort at the worse time in my life. I didn't carry it around with me though.

She even wears it in the hot tub. I mean, come on!

I hope James somehow gets wind of her idea to get him and Chelsia out. That would be a hoot.

Also, my son and daughter in law lost a baby girl at 2 1/2 months. My D-I-L would sleep with something of the babys till the smell left. She would then get something else. She kept the clothes, stuffed animals, and blankets in a plastic bag wrapped tight to hold the scent. It helped her.

James blew an "O" ring when he farted. I can't even comment on that.

Stop,

Thanks. It was hard but we got through it. Their marriage got stronger and they had another baby. They also had a girl before the one they lost. Now they are 9 and 5 and the lost baby is still remembered.

I just noticed... Natalie hasn't been fawning over Matty tonight. She's actually had real non-game conversations with (gasp!) other people!

That makes perfect sense, Fivel.

I have a tradition. When a loved one dies in my family, I take their clothes...their favorites, the ones we remember them in...and make a quilt out of them. They are beautiful, comforting reminders of them. And, yes, their smell is in them.

But...if it's Sharon's baby blankie, what is she smelling? Herself?

Stop,

LOL, I don't think you will get in trouble. Heck, I don't even get it. I was just thinking how smokers blow rings when exhaling. Silly me.
