Chit - my pleasure. Wish I knew more. It seems Real has gone from offering the mobile option when you sign up to now leaving it for when the feeds begin.

At any rate - it's almost BB time!

I bought the Sony 925 earphones from Amazon and even paid extra for 2 date delivery. I'm very happy that they were mentioned. I have an iPad which will not show the live feeds and where I sit is not too far from my computer. Let the fun begin!

Chit & everyone - here is all I know about the app situation:

There will be an app for Android but not for iDevices. It has been explained that when an iDevice uses mobile Safari to access the feeds, once the user is signed in and has added the mobile add-on fee to their SuperPass, the feeds will simply play in QuickTime (or in a format the devices use) on the iDevice.

So in theory, no additional apps will be needed for an iDevice to play the feeds. Yes, there is a Flash browser app that I used last summer for feeds (CloudBrowse), but that will not be necessary now.

I have Skyfire will that work Bonza? Thank you for all of your answers. I'm sorry to be asking so many questions, but I'm not very good with the technical things associated with computers...

Chit - you are so welcome. Someone has reported in that Skyfire doesn't have a way to transmit sign in info, like id & password that you need to input at Superpass.Real.Com, so it won't work for feeds.

Jag - per Christiii's post above 7/7 2:05pm, they are now offering the mobile option when the feeds go live, rather than at the time of SuperPass sign-up.

The first time anyone with a mobile device goes to the feeds with a mobile browser, they will be given the option to sign up for the add-on at that time.

Not to confuse things but I signed up yesterday and they offered me the mobile option when I signed up.

iTunes has a Big Brother app for $4.99 - undecided....It's suppose to have real time notifications on whats going on in the house etc. Might come in handy so I can update at work. I'll think on it...

Anyone buy this last year?

I also have Pocket Big Brother. Free app, or was free when I got it last year.

I have Pocket Big Brother as well. Good little app. They are in the process of updating the app for the current season.

I agree that Real is unbelievably inconsistent. I was astonished to see them offering the mobile option after reading the comments here.

Does anyone know if BBLite that I downloaded last year will work for this season or do I need to download a newer version? Also, does anyone know how to download the free game if you are not a member of facebook? Thanks!

I also signed up last night and they offered me the mobile option.. since all I have is an older ipod touch and I've never got it changed so I'm registered, I can't even d/l an app even if it would work.. so I certainly didn't take it.

Hmm but maybe I can access Twitter for when I'm near a wifi spot.

So, no BB Lite available yet.. they say Real hasn't been cooperating with them as much as they originally indicated.

I hope it's in HD this year. Does anyone know if they've finally made the switch?

Got an e-mail from RP. For the Droid there is a charge and for iPad, just go into Safari and down load Real, no extra charge. You do need ios4. The iPad version will start when the feeds start. Thanks Bonz.
