Hi Naja! I just got a new toy, Nookcolor. All I know is that it's not a droid<--- is that even the right word? It's mostly an E-book, I'm sure you're familiar w/it. I got it to help pass time on the 17-hr flight round trip... But I do get to see Youtube on it. Web surf, E-mail, read & post on TVCH... like a Tab w/ limited function I guess. Do you think I will be able to see BBLF on this gadget? ..... rather than having to sit up in front of this old PC or negotiate laptop time with family members. If I could, this would truly be the best investment I've made of late! Hope you know the answer. TIA as always!

Some info on mobile device feed-watching from Hamsterwatch.com: "Feeds for any mobile device will cost an additional $9.99 for three months (or $4.99 per month if your SuperPass bills monthly).. you'll be asked when you sign up if you want to add mobile access.. those who already have a SuperPass subscription will be asked to sign up/sign in when you attempt to access the feeds on your mobile device.. if you sign up for mobile access before the feeds start, not to worry: billing for the mobile add-on won't kick in until July 7.. " I have gone through the sign-up process, which is totally as before with signing up for the 90-day Superpass - except- you get one additional screen after confirming your feed purchase. That screen and the one that follows are capped below. Once you finish those two screens, you are signed up for the season. Of course this is all I know for now. Won't know how anything actually works until the feeds go live.

Chy, I only started the thread..I don't know everything technical...LOL But, I did go and read up for you, and as long you as you have your little NookColor updated to the most recent version OS release, you should be able to view flash video without any kind of special app.

Thank you, Naja. Hopefully all I'll have to do is to type in user name and pw. Jag, yeah, isn't it wonderful? My dd watches Netflix on it as well. The only things it can't do is to video chat/skype, or take pictures. My nephew in Taipei has the kind of tablets that would do all that. But alas, I'm still refusing cell phone!! Bonza, I'll follow your link in a while. But since I don't have to pay any monthly fee for my Nook, I'm gonna assume I won't have to pay mobile fee. I better not be watching this "trash" any where out side of my house -- words of advice from the whole rest of the family, p.....

Too bad, just chat with a tech about Nook. No, we won't be able to get the video stream. They will work on developing an App for that... but Nook's focus is Reading. (and selling us E-books... )

Just asked DDs, they said they've never watched a whole movie, just trailers so far. They use their Apple and Laptop for Netflix. I use this cluncker of course.

Chy, things aren't always as they seem. Google Nookcolor flash video and you will be surprised the solutions that come up

It seems to me that someone was talking last year about some sort of earphones that she could wear and listen to the feeds while she was doing housework etc. Could someone please tell me what they were and where to get them? I appreciate it very much!! I thought I could get the feeds this year but I just can't be tied down to computer all the time.

SuperGranny: What you want are wireless headphones. I use mine for BB and watching regular TV when I'm not in front of my computer or TV. Go to Amazon.com and search on wireless headphones and you will find a lots to choose from. I've had my Sony MDR-920 RF for over 5 years w/ no issues. I'm guessing the 925's have replaced the 920's that I have. They also help when the HGs whisper. Be sure the ones you choose are RF (which means you can even be outside or in another room and still hear ok).

Hi Mama - GREAT to see you! Yes - whee! I signed up for the regular feed package + the mobile option. I can sign into Superpass now from computer, of course, but on iPad/iPhone/Touch, the option doesn't kick in until the feeds go live. They say that when you go to the feed link (superpass.real.com) on an iDevice after the feeds go live, their browser will identify your iDevice and the feeds will play in QuickTime. Fingers crossed...

Naja, thank you for thinking of me. I just strolled over, read some and got pretty lost. I really don't know how to root anything. Netflix on PC is good enough for me right now. I just wish I could get live stream w/ my Nook. I think NC says it's with a Flash already. My DD started viewing youtube on it so I dint even have a clue that it is a mobile version. I'm able to watch her stuff on Facebk as well. I do recall being ided as a mobile and asked to pay that kind of fee when I tried to use it in Tokyo airport. San Fran & Taipei was 60 min. free.... In any rate, I probably shouldn't expect to see BBLF on Nook yet. ;-( Funny how posters on that site said "reading was the last thing they had in mind when purchasing Nook color." I should hurry and cozy up to the friend who's always getting droids for evrything, free games, free books....

Ok, signed up so konashark has something to do while he is home "retired" from Active Duty (which starts July 15th). Got the Superpass page bookmarked, figure out other viewers later I guess. I told him "NO" for mobile app (he has to choose between playing poker or staying home to watch the feeds).

Just received an e-mail from Real. It said since I already paid for the mobile bb13 app and since that is not available till July 7, they are going to credit my account from when I signed up till July 7 when it starts.

Since a number of people are having problems with this I thought I'd post this in this thread as well. If you're on your own computer and you don't want to have to sign in to TVCH and put in your password again and again, you can set your profile so that it remembers to automatically keep you signed in.Click on Edit Profile (tiny letters in the upper right corner of every page) Login using your name and password. Click on Preferences (or just scroll down to that section) Click in the box next to where it says "Remember my username and password in a cookie" Be sure there isn't a check mark next to where it says "Clear the cookie when I exit my browser" Click on the Save Profile Changes box You're done and it should remember you and you won't have to enter a password each time!
