thx Jimmer... LOL, I've seen some of you in Can. Idol or SYTYCD.. I just meant, I wondered what happened to those of you long timers that used to make the BB boards zip along at lightening speed. I guess the title of this thread pretty much explains why you're in other areas, but not over here anymore..

I still watch the show, and still get the feeds. I don't have to stop everything I am doing to watch the show like I use to. And I usually check in here on the posts to see if opening the feeds is even worth it. The last time I watched hardcore was season 6, after that was downhill for me. 7 was soso, 8 was too painful, and who won in 9? I am still giving it a shot though this season. Trying to watch the feeds a little more, but it is not consuming everything like it use to do back in the day.

I totally agree with Mummy's post. I love BB and would miss it sorely if it stopped coming on at all. It is unique and the best idea for a reality show yet. However, I feel that BB set it's own bar of expectation for the viewers and is now finding it hard to live up to it. I am enjoying this season so far much more than the past three seasons. I like that they have gone back to total strangers and this group of houseguests are just fine. They seem like normal everyday people. What I feel would make the show better is: 1. Get rid of slop and go back to pb&j. Not only does the slop make the houseguests sluggish and boring but the viewers really enjoyed the pb&j. We even stocked up on it and ate it with them. We can not relate to slop!! 2. Have more interesting things for them to do. Let them compete for or earn their emenities instead of just giving them everything. I personally enjoyed watching them have to wash their clothes by hand. They could also throw in some games like Trivial Pursuit or something so they will have something to do but it has to be things that would get them all involved but not be loud and noisy. Can't stand watching when they are banging and pounding on things. It gets irritating. 3. Make the live show more unpredictable. This can be done without blocking out the live feeds by not allowing the HOH to discuss who the nominees will be, forbidding the houseguests to discuss or reveal who they will be voting for. Enforce penalties for talking about things that are forbidden. Who doesn't know what they are talking about when they talk about going to the doctor or when they were on vacation? I think that making these simple changes would improve the viewing a lot. It would make the houseguests more active and involved with each other and not just their alliance, while at the same time, it would get rid of the 'mob mentality' and keep us in suspence as to who will be nominated and evicted. We would enjoy the feeds more and still look forward to watching the shows to see how it turned out. Just my opinion but back to answer the original question: Still addicted but not so much. I keep hoping for excitement for everyone because I do want to see the show canceled. Also, Go Renny Go.

I actually never liked the show (too cheesy!). But I do have the feeds, and get them every season. My enjoyment comes not so much from the HG, but the feedback all you people give on this website!! Someone came up with a real simple way (wilson, maybe? sorry if that's wrong) to stop the 'group think'. Just don't tell them the vote count! Just say 'so and so has been evicted'. This way no one knows how anyone voted. Simple, right?

I'm barely finding an interest in the BBUS threads here, and that has never happened before, even when the cast has been worse than this one. This is actually my first BBUS related post apart from a thanks to the people who do screencaps. The last BB was too recent. And the threads here seemed very hard to get anything out of last season which made it less fun for me, and that's made me less interested in delving in again. Brian's group took my interest but then he was voted out first and his friends are going to follow. And timewise, BBUK's still on and that takes up an hour and a half a day, and we just got a Wii and I'm addicted. I'm just not finding the urge to do anything more than watch the shows.

Yawn... predictable Maybe have someone 'safe' that the viewers choose, other than the HOH every week.

I was horribly addicted the first 4 or 5 seasons but watched less and less until Dick came along and pretty much turned me off to BB forever. Outside of occassionaly checking in here, because let's face it, these boards are so much better then the actual show, I've only seen maybe 10 minutes tops this season. So while I'm not absolutely 100% cured, it's pretty darn close. My summers are now spent watching series I've missed on dvd like The Shield, Deadwood, Entourage, etc. I don't miss BB but I do miss the folks here on these boards which is why I still read these threads.

I just posted another thread about this, but I think this is a better thread for opinions. First, I watched from season 1, which was my favorite. Probably because it was a new concept and was interesting to watch. I watched every year and I loved Dr. Will. What a great player. Very amusing and knew how to play the game. Then we get Season 8(The Dick and Daniele Show). AG's two favorites. She did everything but come in and hand them the cash. Nobody had a chance. They were handpicked to win and they did. I was going to stop after that. The spitting, farting and woman bashing was out of control. Season 9, what can I say! X-rated porn show and language. I, actually stopped watching and just came here to read what was going on. The only reason I was interested is because the winner lived 4 miles from me. I was really getting excited about this season. I figured AG got slapped on the hands and told to control herself. The hype sounded good. Again, I was disappointed. Twenty and thirty year olds. Same old, same old, but I thought I'd give it a chance. Well, between the bullying and the "group that follows each other around" and now, Keesha, who is acting like a HS kid. She wants to get out a player because all the boys like Angie better than her. Where are the good players? We have teenagers and sheep. No interesting conversations. Boring. So I'm finally done with BB. I just wanted to add that this is the best place to be. All of you are so witty and fun. You made this show so enjoyable for me. I wish CBS would let you, all, be producers. Thanks, for the great times!

I'm pretty much over it, but I do think S10 is better than 9. Hated ED and couldn't stomach Crazy James and Chelsia. I come to tvch, follow the screen caps, catch a few YOUTUBES, meh...

For me BB 8 was intense as I wanted ED gone, BB 9 is best described as a dud. BB 10 is just ok so far.Now if Jes is blind sided tomorrow I will be quite the happy camper.

Sadly if we lost US BB it wouldnt bother me near as much as it would have a few years ago. I'd be very happy to watch BB UK and BB Australia If Australia gets renewed for next year. First thing every morning I watch the BB Uk videos. I love it

I started losing interest when All-Stars started. My favorites from the past were not becoming my favs on that season, Kaysar and Howie. Season 8 almost made me quit all together. I stopped watching the show, hardly watched the feeds and only got my info from here. Nine I tried again, but quickly lost interest. This season I am enjoying it, but I don't drop everything to watch the show. I have the last 4 episodes on the DVR that I haven't watched and will probably delete. The last show I watched was Steven getting evicted. It could get cancelled this year and I wouldn't cry about it. Now, if it was Amazing Race, I would have to throw a fit.

To answer the question - not as. However I like the fact that they are not as risque as "9" was. I don't want to see it cancelled unless they replace it with something as much fun.
