Bee - A part of me regretted the "Deal with it" post.

Ryan...do NOT regret that. Sometimes we just need to hear it. And I took it in the manner it was intended. I actually learned from it. I like that about this board.

Geez, I'd rather be timing April and Ozzie than listening to this. The others are awake in there!

Bee - I'll say this to you, although I'm fairly sure you got it, and to anyone who reads it for the first time in your post. What I was going for with that, perhaps in too harsh a manner, is "Be a parent first, be a friend second." Your kids will love you for it. Far too many parents (and non-parents, in the case of Jerry), try and fail to fit in with the younger crowd, succeed only in annoying them, and miss out on opportunities to pass on your life experience.

Heh, Ks, trust me, if someone has kids, they've heard that they're lame and to deal with it pretty often! LOL, and it's a lot more harsh coming from your 6 year old.

Ouch. A 6 year old? Gotta say War, I still thought adults were pretty cool when I was 6. Either 6 year olds aren't the same as when I was one, or parents are getting lamer as time goes on.

Hyper your post makes me wonder something. Have there been any full time glasses wearers on BB? I can't think of any. I ask because I wear glasses all the time. Seems to be less common though, at least among younger people.

Ks, you're totally lame if their friends are around, lol. Otherwise you're pretty cool. It gets to be more frequent the older they get (Caleb's 12 now, I'm totally, completely uncool.) Is it close to time for one of those hoh comps (house stuff?) Memphis was mentioning earlier his shaving cream disapperead and Jessie said someones been messing with his toothpaste. They may be driving me up a wall but hope no one is deliberately taking/messing up their personal items.

War...you'll turn back to being cool when they're about twenty or so. It's an amazing transition. At least, that's how it went with my sons. Never had the pleasure of a daughter.
